Everything was perfect!
The location couldn’t be better, we walked to the churches, restaurants and stores. Staff was super friendly, always eager to help,we had the most comfortable bed and enjoyed the wonderful breakfast with beautiful views of the city.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly and made the whole difference to make our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was very nice, the location was simply amazing and the historical ambiance of the building was very charming.
The rooms could have some sort of protection against outside noise from the street.

It is a nice place in an excellent location.
My room was very noisy

great location and view from the large room. Good breakfast with plenty of fruit and bread options
not sure it is worth close to $300 a night

Location is excellent and breakfast too.
Staff is very kind.
The bed is not comfort and the room was cold.
I believe that a hotel with this high price should have room service and hairdryer in the bathroom.

Perfect location and superb view over the hills of Ouro Preto.
Easy to reach by car, specially since they have parking.
Very comfortable traditional rooms, very friendly and helpfull staff.

Sight from room was spectacular. Also personal attention was superb especially when I left personal belonging.
Information regarding tour was not sufficient in the reception.

Staff was exceptional, and they did everything to ensure we had a nice stay. In new years eve, they arranged so we could have dinner using the space of the downstairs bistro (which is no longer functioning as a restaurant). They put together a really nice table set with crystal glasses and everything, and served us the simple yet tasty room service menu (light meals only), which was more than enough given context (COVID etc). Tulio even provided ambient music for us. Great experience, definitely the best we could have in Ouro Preto given the context!!
The "standard suites" are not great and significantly over priced. Very small rooms, no windows, and small bathrooms with curtains (as per pictures). Mini-bar was really noisy at night so I had to unplug it before going to sleep. Also, I had to rearrange the furniture so I had a place to open my luggage (there's no wardrobe, the hangers are above the bed so not usable, and the low ceiling makes it impossible to use that extra space without hitting your head). Really not compatible with something at this price point. I'd strongly recommend going for the upgraded rooms.

Great location, friendly staff and excellent location. Breakfast is also very good.
Bathroom is in dire need of an update from its cerca 70s state

The location is great. The staff too.
At room 312 I had respiratory problems due to some chemical product. Fortunately, there was another room where I could sleep the last two nights. The personal of the hotel knew about that problem, since, as I was told, I was not the first customer to complain about it. If this is so, why is it that the owners of the Mondego Pousada do not do anything about it?
