There is a second pool on the third floor that’s open till 11 PM and there’s a bar there. That’s the highlight of this whole stay. I didn’t use the pool or the bar. Maybe if I did I would have had a different experience.
I really wanted to give this place a good review because I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but since I rely on honest reviews I have to give it an honest review.
It is absolutely not worth the money. It is an overpriced motel they should’ve been $30 or $40.
Everything is like outdated, chipping, smells odd, the air conditioners have mold. They’ve never been cleaned.
Unfortunately this is the best hotel I could find last minute when I decided to go to Iquitos before I left Peru.
I’ve traveled to 25 countries I’ve been in all types of hotels in a hostels and I’m really never bothered. They are generally clean. I’ve even stayed in jungle lodges. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ever.
I walked in and a mosquito bit my cheek. There was mold on the curtain mold in the air conditioner, There was like a sticker film on the air conditioner which I tipped off. Then I took a picture and I realized how gross it still is inside.
There were five or six little itty bitty bugs near the sink. So I made sure all my luggage was tightly closed because I don’t want things carrying along with me.
I’ve been all over Peru, Ica, Arequipa, Colca in the mountains, Puno, on a Uros floating island, Ollantaytambo, Cuzco and I have never been uncomfortable in any of the rooms the way that I was in this one. I really wanted to leave that same night.
The only reason I’m here is because the Hilton was booked and I waited last minute to book because I wasn’t sure if I was coming to Iquitos or not. I don’t normally stay at the Hilton but I would have in this case. My next hotel is supposed to be amazing but I cannot in this one.
I had room service the first night because I got in so late, and I think the food was OK but I couldn’t get past the bugs I saw in the bathroom. There were these tiny little bugs that made me feel like they’re gonna be everywhere in the room now. So I couldn’t really enjoy my meal. I ordered that garlic and olive oil pasta with limo fino. It smelled rotten.

Location
My Peruvian partner paid 70 Euro room+breakfast while I paid 104 for same room. When I asked the reason why of such big difference they said the difference is for BOOKING.COM . Is it possible? Hoping BOOKING.COM will reply me.
NOISY ROOM when I've asked for quite room.
I left the hotel early morning and the previous night I asked for a coffee because breakfast start at 7AM, but no coffee available.
Finally I'm very disappointed both with the hotel and with BOOKING.COM
