The Jungle House was very exciting to arrive at it was a beautiful place. The pool was very nice. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were really cool, with a very nice bed and bathroom. They were very comfortable. The breakfast was nice.
Nothing. Everything was ideal.

not much
it’s advertised as having Wi-Fi, but Wi-Fi didn’t work. we were woken up by drunk people swimming between 2am and 5am. rooms are too small to open up a suitcase and staff were not friendly

There are not a lot of good options in Iquitos. This little gem is centrally located in Belen. They serve a yummy breakfast. There is a little jungle that separates the rooms and provides privacy. The small pool is perfect for cooling off on a humid day. The rooms have comfortable beds and nice small bathrooms with everything you need. Perfect for an overnight or longer.
Nothing. Pleasantly surprised to find this place!

This is a really cozy hotel-clean, bright and with the comforts of a hot shower and nice bedding that provide a little luxury before going to the jungle or upon return. Nice pool and common area. Also, very quiet.
The wifi is almost non existent. I had to pay 90 soles for a day pass the Double Tree Hotel a few blocks over just to use their wifi to take care of some work/personal matters.

I had seriously food poisoning after breakfast. Don’t know it’s because of the strawberry jelly or anything else. It was painful experience that whole day suffering from stomach discomfort and extreme cold and then fever situation during the night.

Nothing.

Very clean room, location was great.
Staff member at the front desk offered to book us a taxi to the airport the next morning. He said it costs 15$usd and that we had to pay up front to secure it. We did, like fools, and the next morning there was no taxi, and the other staff had no idea about our reserving one. So we just flagged down a tuk tuk. Not impressed with that staff member who clearly just pocketed the cash. So if you go there, just handle your own tuktuk / taxi resos!

Air conditioning worked well, free water, tea, coffee and snacks, convenient location, friendly staff, reasonably priced
The road outside is undergoing some works so cars are not able to drop-off or pick up outside. The rooms are a little small but good for one night pre and post our trip into the rainforest. small pool

location and relaxed atmosphere

It was simple and clean. Eventhough you couldn't drive up to it because of construction, it was in a great location. It was a block from water and easy 3 block walk to Plaza and good restaurants. The street was super quiet, unlike 90% of the other streets, due to the mototaxis . The staff was kind and helpful! Breakfast was good, eggs, ham, bread, coffee, juice. The A/C worked great!
The wifi barely worked but thankfully and employee was kind enough to let me use it for a quick time while I attended to urgent business. Their credit card machine wasn't working, so I had to walk a few blocks to exchange money...thankfully the company picking us up was running late.
