Nice stay however very strong cigarette smell

The property’s location was amazing, right next to the train station and we couldn’t hear a thing. The bed was small for two travellers however the room was nice and big so we could spread out.

The room had a very unbearable stench of cigarettes whereby even having the window open during the day the smell stayed. Made us feel unclean and was hard to fall asleep with.

5 min tops walk to Nagano train station, staff were nice and breakfast was an unexpected bonus! Good value for money if looking for somewhere to sleep only!

The room lighting was a bit dark and room a bit dated

Parking slots are not being offered to us despite two slots available on site. Lightings are quite outdated

Ok hotel for one night

It is close to the train station and restaurants.

The breakfast is not continental as described on the web page. It does serve purpose though; it fills you up. If you’re not satisfied there’s a Becks coffee located upstairs in the train station which serves proper breakfast for European tourists😉

Minimalist stay close to nagano station

The location is super awesome, you just need to walk around 3 minutes from the station. As Nagano weather is unpredictable during winter, its strategic position is really really helpful. Also, the staff is tried their best to be as nice as possible. They also provide breakfast, not the best but might be enough to start the day.

The hotel is a very old building, so does the facility. Even the air conditioner is, for a hotel, is somehow old type. There are also a few spaces for our luggage. So, if you bring lots of stuff, you will a little bit struggling to find the rack for it. You can find it, but yeah it is old... so you will hesitate to open it as you scared you will ruin it. Anything else is, there are very few choices for the breakfast.

Good Location

The location was very close to the train station - less than 5 minutes on foot, which was convenient as I had a train pass (JR East) that I used for 3 days; The breakfast was included and it was good and enough to fill you...

There weren't enough (clothes) hangers in the room; I was hoping to get a room on a higher floor (and better view); There was no signage whatsoever about Housekeeping and servicing of rooms - I do not need or expect everything to be replenished daily (as is the case in Japanese hotels), but there was no way to communicate this (without involving Reception/Front Desk)...
