Old fashioned, quaint hostel run by lovely owner and manager. Though the building could use a renovation, everything was tidy and the private room was well equipped with linens, towels, heater, extra blankets. Shower and toilet were clean. Kitchen wasn’t crowded.
A bit noisy at night, but I think that comes with staying in a hostel.

Nice and clean room. Good outdoor space for eating. Ok equipped kitchen.
The communial fridges in our kitchen were discusting. They were filthy and full of rotten and expired food. There didnt seem to be any system in place for left food and cleaning.

Cosy hostel with good indoor and outdoor chill out areas. Rooms were clean Andy dorm had plug sockets next to each bed which is always handy. Only a short walk into town, or a 5 min cycle (cycles for hire). Staff were friendly and basic breakfast (toast / jam etc.) was good. Overall had a good experience.
There was a mix up with my room when I arrived - I was left the wrong key to a room which was already full. Because the reception is not open 24hours, we had to call the emergency contact number to get it sorted but it was fine on the end. The system of leaving keys for out of hours check in doesn’t seem to be the most secure or clear for new arrivals.

Check in was easy and the staff were friendly.
The kitchen and the bathrooms were pretty dirty. They were cleaned by the staff periodically, but both were pretty gross whenever I went to use them. They were common spaces, so maybe I just had bad luck with the other guest that were staying there.

The room had enough space.
The kitchen is too small.
