Because you don't have quick access to town, it would be great if they had a shop with drinks, snacks and definitely over the counter medicine like Tylenol or Advil.

The hotel is very remote, private and quiet. We stayed in a suite overlooking the lagoon. There don’t seem to be other properties within at least a mile from the place. Our room was huge, well equipped and modern with comfortable beds. The staff were very attentive. We particularly enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the room and the beautiful infinity pool. We also recommend the (complementary) 1 hour boat ride to see the monkeys on islands in the lagoon.
It is difficult to reach from Flores because there is no Uber or equivalent in the area. Taxis and the hotel’s shuttle service cost 150Q at least (5 times the price of equivalent journeys in other places in Guatemala.). Since the roads are good around Flores, consider renting a car.
The lobby and dining room were open to the (magnificent) view and therefore not air conditioned. It was ok but a bit hot.

The staff are kind and attentive, and, the property is beautiful. Also, the shower and jacuzzi have hot water!
We ate several meals in the restaurant and all were excellent.
The boat ride to monkey island was very enjoyable. Margarita (spider monkey) came aboard and introduced herself.

Location was perfect ! more importantly, the staff was outstanding specifically Carlos at the front desk was phenomenal ! He went above & beyond to help me durning my stay. at checkout i wasn't able to find another lodging on my own . every location was booked in flores. he helped me durning a stressful time !
another great staff was Alex in the restaurant his kindness & attention to details helped me .
on my last night there. the wifi went out. this was terrible as i wasn't able to do anything on my phone & the phone in the room didn't work either due to the wifi being down

Wide variety of delicious breakfast selections. Coffee was exceptional!

The hotel nestled among trees over looking the lagoon. Our room was at the end and was so beautifully built. Everything including the floor was in wood and looks like a mahogany. Inside is a spacious room with double bed, an area to work if you want to, who does? But it haa an indoor jacuzzi overlooking a gorgeous view of the lagoon. All open with glass windows and doors. An absolute gem.
I wish they would improve the coffee machine with expresso or at least use real milk. It's a travesty to use powder milk..Those are poisonous.

We cannot speak more highly of this hotel. Everything was fabulous! From our welcome, right down to our final goodbyes. All the staff were so lovely and attentive, the food was great, drinks were great. We did the boat tour as well which was wonderful. We wish we had booked for longer! Thank you for such a fantastic stay!

We loved everything. From the beautiful lagoon, to the food, the excellent and amazing service, the views, the rooms… A big shoutout to Elmer, Víctor, Alex and Myron who were kind and attentive from sunrise to night… This is a hidden gem and we will absolutely be back soon!

Beautiful property inside and outside the rooms. Great tour on the lagoon included in the room rate. Helpful staff. They made a mistake in quoting me the price of a guide for Tikal and honored the original price they had given me. Service at the restaurant is 5 stars. Staff is very kind and attentive to clients.
Would have hope for more than a continental breakfast. I saw in the review that this is a recurrent complaint and hotel said that it's mentioned under the "?" in Booking.com. So I looked carefully and there was no "?" next to breakfast and no continental was mentioned, so I thought they had now a full breakfast available. But I was wrong. This should be specified in Booking.com to manage expectations. We had curry and mustard chicken for dinner. Beautifully plated but curry very sweet and both dishes were not amazing. Chocolate mousse delicious though. We wanted to go swimming at 9am, but we could not, the pool had not been cleaned. The color of the water was not so clear and lots of leaves everywhere. So we had to skip and took a jacuzzi instead. The museum is very tastefully done in the hotel as well.

Room is very spacious, tastefully designed and has amazing views onto the lagoon. Lovely to find the jacuzzi ready.
Little bit of noise from the kitchen in the dining area.
