The breakfast was great as well as dinner. Nice Pool and lots of space to walk around.
Liked everything
4.0
La amabilidad del personal, los animales, el entorno e instalaciones y servicios.
No hay nada alrededor y la comida del restaurante es muy cara.
La ubicación está muy alejada (requiere transporte) y el camino de noche da miedo.

Rooms are very noisy - definitely not soundproof. No view of the ocean/sea from room. Restaurant had one white and one red wine - very cheap wine, very small pour and $10 per glass US. Airport shuttle to the airport was they would call a taxi and we would pay for it.
3.0
Staff was very nice and the shuttle to the bus station was a life saver.
Unless you drove and knew the area, you had no choice but to eat/buy all of your meals at the hotel. Prices were high and food quality was very low.
2.5
4.5
The breakfast was adequate for a continental breakfast. It came with coffee, 2 toasts, butter, jelly, 3 or 4 teaspoons of yogurt and fresh fruit. There was no substitutions available but it was good.
The location was hard to find my taxi driver dropped me off at the wrong location and I had to find my way there with the help of a construction worker. The roads were all tore up and the sign to the property was very small.
4.5
This is a great hotel tucked in a nice area by the sea. The staff are so helpful and friendly and you will try and makes sure you are happy and have everything you need for your stay.
Food is well cooked and its nice area to relax in. Tours can be arranged and a shuttle is always available at any time of the day.
Rooms are big cabanas and comfortable with free Netflix and Prime.
No beer is served here (only wine) so grab some in the local supermarket on the way back in the shuttle.
They have 2 coffee containers out at all times but no hot water. I only drink tea and had to keep asking for hot water, sometimes it was not hot enough as they microwave it.

The location can not be improved
No beer for sale

This is a beautiful, peaceful, and very hospitable place! The staff is very welcoming and attentive to all of the guests. The food is delicious and well prepared.
Security officials had our driver waiting for some time to open the gate when we returned from our excursion. The property is nicely hidden but can be a little scary in the dark at night.
2.0
The pool was good
The beds were very hard,it had crocodiles on the beach and the water was brown, could not use the beach, pricey to get a taxi to town or airport, meals were pricey at resort..no drinking water in rooms..

Nice location, great hotel. For the price.
Great staff.

Manque informations sur site web: qu’il n’y a aucune vente alcool et aucune épicerie à proximité. Pas beaucoup de variétés du menu. Le coût pour transport en navette très cher.

This stay was amazing! Not only is the location convenient (tours will pick you up from here), but it’s very relaxing and peaceful. The property is really nice - including the pool, restaurant, billiards room, and gym. My favorite part were the dogs though. The property does have a handful of dogs that are extremely well behaved and friendly. The owner, Dave is very responsive and helpful - if you need a ride they will drive you where ever, take you on a tour, etc. Rooms are adequate, clean, no bugs, and AC works great. FYI - the property doesn’t have beer onsite but the driver will take you to the store or stop on the way from the airport.
I couldn’t stay longer :)

The place is very close to the airport and has a nice pool.
No drinking water anywhere except at the restaurant which is normally closed. Water isn't offered there except for sale unless you ask the waitress, who did fill our bottles. Most expensive restaurant I visited in Belize and we went to some very nice restaurants! It had no rice, fish, or beans. Eaten alive by bugs because its in a mangrove forest. Understandable but unexpected. The place is past it's prime, everything a bit old, a bit worn out, a little tired. Mushrooms growing out of the deck wood kind of sums it up. My door wouldn't just latch so I had to use the deadbolt, the room had one light switch for the shower, bathroom and room. The shower door latch was too rusted to shut, I shared my free breakfast with eight circling bees and mosquitos, you can hear everyone at the resort when your sleeping, the window curtain in the bathroom was nailed to the wall. You get the idea. It's not a terrible place but you should know what your signing up for. Imagine the old motel on route 66.
Oh, and our airport transport that was scheduled by Seaside never showed up. If it wasn't for the staff, who drove their own cars, we would have been late.
Oh, and no beer or liquor at the restaurant! BYOB ya'll.

The seaside chateau resort was such a laid back, quiet, comfortable place to stay while in Belize! The staff was friendly and there were plenty of them around to answer questions, open the driveway security gate, etc. We would definitely book this place again if we traveled to Belize again!
The restaurant could definitely give bigger platters of food for the prices they have. Other than that the food was good!

Amazing staff, great location that felt very safe
Bathroom walls did not extend to the ceiling, little privacy

I didn’t have the continental breakfast I just ordered bacon and eggs it was really good.
Everything was fresh like your mom just made it.
I liked having the river on one side an the sea on the other.
Lots of little things needed repairs, nothing major just need the finishing touches cleaned up.
I was expecting the pool to be warmer, but it was refreshing in the heat of the day.
Not a lot to dislike here easy to get here great place to stay on your way in and back home

Peaceful and beautiful location with natural surroundings.
Lots of mosquitoes. Wait staff seemed unhappy.

Its a gorgeous property. The pool is very nice. Its 10 minutes from the airport.
I don't normally leave bad reviews, but maybe i can save someone from having our experience. There was no alcohol or beverages at all available at this "resort". The "restaurant" there has food, which is double the price of anywhere else in belize, and the only drink you can get is coffee or smoothie. Literally. No beer, no wine, no alcohol if any kind, no juice. If you want water, you have to ask them to fill your own water bottle up. I don't know how you can call yourself a resort or a restaurant when you don't provide drinks. Ive never heard of that before. Its also not walking distance to any store or bar or restaurant. And if you want a ride, you can only use their taxi service. It honestly ruined our whole day. We were planning to lay by the pool and order drinks for our last day in belize. Instead we had to ask for a ride, (which was also weird, the staff said they only do "store runs" at 1 and 4, and when i asked if someone can take us right now at 2, he said yes but it's paid and you have to give me 30 minutes. Then later when i asked if they could pick us up from their store run at 4, he said they don't do that and i misunderstood.) So we got a paid ride into town and got drinks and food, then we couldn't find a taxi back because they don't hang out around that party of town (which no one told us at the hotel nor their driver who dropped us off) so we had to call the hotel to pick us up again and when we did he just said "ok i well try to find someone to get you"and hung up. I had to call again 10 minutes later and ask if someone was coming. They eventually did. So we got back at 5 and didn't even have time to sit by the pool in the sun. The whole thing was weird. The vibe there was weird. It was very disappointing. Especially because the description and pictures make it look and sound like a resort with a pool and bar/restaurant.

The staff and other guests were very friendly and welcoming. We were happy to experience staying in the cabin versus the hotel room.
There was a problem with my husband's meal, but the front desk staff resolved it. We will stay here again next time we're in Belize City.
5.0
Beautiful location. Nice pool. Excellent food.
4.5
Beautiful grounds
Loved the lounge area & Amazon fire TV stick in the room, the remotes weren't working but we used the phone app to connect to it.
Staff were great super friendly and quickly resolved issues
Delicious food
The property doesn't serve alcohol, apart from wine, however they said you can bring your own
The menu should state what is included where you have a room with breakfast included. We were misinformed and this lead to being overcharged but was quickly resolved
Be aware the food menu is in US and considerably more expensive than other restaurants in Belize, although for a one night stay we didn't mind

Nothing
Even warning front desk that we were in a working travel they put one of the team members right in front of a very noisy area

It’s a fantastic private area with amazing views everywhere and a wonderful layout with many accommodations. The staff works so kindly to make sure you’re taken care of and welcomed. The on-site restaurant cooks make delicious meals.
A few repairs need to be made. Missing hammocks from poles. Overall it is absolutely fantastic.

Beautiful setting and friendly staff. Kayaking was fun. Continental breakfast was fresh and thoughtfully plated.
The hotel is isolated. Without a car rental, your only food and drink options are what the hotel has to offer. Food was tasty, but prices are more than what you would expect to pay in Central America. No beer available.
5.0
What a cute little gem of a property on the edge of Belize city. The staff are all very kind and very professional. Their airport shuttle service is the same rate as would be charged by a taxi, the complimentary breakfast was always beautiful and tasty, the on-site restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced as well. The cabanas near the sea are well worth the small increase in nightly rate. The a/c in my cabana was cold, hot water was hit-or-miss, the kayaks are free to borrow, the infinity pool was gorgeous and always a good temperature, manatees and little saltwater crocodiles can be seen around the property, and the beds/bedsheets were VERY comfortable. It’s the best quality for the price you’ll find anywhere in Belize.
It was great that the restaurant on-site served wine as an option, but many guests were also hoping to have some belikins, so guests may need to know to stop by a convenience store on their way over. Hot water was inconsistent, but maybe not the property’s fault.

Cabins on a sandy strip are nicely arranged around a decent pool. Nice bar/dining place but no beer permitted, only nasty wine available. Dinner ok, nothing great, breakfast supplied, simple fruit and an egg cup of yogurt. A dolphin viewing platform over the river, (nothing seen). But many hummingbirds, golden oriole, nesting doves. Very bad plastic kayaks available and the river inlet has water snakes and crocodiles, more than any other site we visited including Monkey River. Take care; waves on exit difficult to power through on poor kayaks!
Lots of religious missionaries hosted, better than the paying guests! Bad problem with absurd taxi prices (no meters and a unionised monopoly) to and from airport
3.5
Nice location (away from Belize City, on the water), and very pleasant staff. The place felt very homey, the food in the restaurant was good, and the prices seemed reasonable.
The restaurant needs more tables. More important, the various outside seating locations (at the beach, at the pool) need more lounge chairs with clean pads in good repair. There were only two lounge chairs at the pool, and the pads on those two chairs were in poor condition (same goes for the chairs near the beach).
I was disappointed that the office staff wouldn't call me a cab on my last day. I had to meet a travel group at another hotel, and the guy running the desk said that he wouldn't call for transportation if I was going to another hotel (if the other hotel had the same policy, I guess I would've just been stranded).
4.5
We loved the property, the view, the pool area the grouds were all beautiful. It is very close to the airport which was convenient for us however, we are glad we took a taxi there, we are not sure we would have found it on our own. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The only thing is they should get a smaller dresser so they can rearrange the furniture because we could only access the bed from one side so the other person had to crawl in and out of it.
We were not entirely happy with the onsite restaraunt, when we ate there most of the tables were dirty. Also, we felt the menu prices were a bit high.

They lied about the charges and charged me double what they told for shuttle trips...

Staff super friendly, lovely grounds. The pool is awesome. The cabanas were fabulous
A little hard to find
2.0
The grounds are pretty and we loved the dogs, Mushroom, German, Chapo and Sheppard.
Rooms aren't very clean. The bed sheets were stained and dirty with no blankets. There was leftover food in the freezer from previous guest. There was a bottle cap with chewed up gum in it in the windowsill.
Also, you can't really swim in the water because of crocodiles.

The pool was very nice and the staff were hardworking and friendly.
This property could use some better maintenance. It was a little run down. It would be a really nice place if all the furnishings were it better condition.

beautiful location
many repairs needed to be done. dangerous nails exposed, no signs for alligators on beach etc.
3.5
Close to Belize City, beautiful pool, restaurant food is fantastic!
accommodations are modest
