The location in Tenterfield is great. The room was spacious and clean. We were allowed a slightly later checkout at no extra cost which was greatly appreciated.
We were not given the room we booked, which was supposed to be a deluxe room with a spa. The room we had was room 252 hidden away underneath other rooms, did not have a spa, and had tiled floors with beds were on castors that rolled around when getting in or leaning up to read.

It was very clean. The only thing that had been missed was the exhaust fan, desperately needs a clean. If it wasn’t for that I would have put 5 stars.
The pillows were extremely hard. Ended up with a sore neck. And we had 8 in the room. All bad.

Car parking would have been better if designated spots were assigned to each room. Had to park at opposite end of carpark to room and carry heavy cmaera equipment and luggage accross carpark. Also line marking for parking spots could have been improved. Parking spot close to room was inaccessable to anyone as adjacent spots lines were not Parallel and a fellow traveller had parked parallel to outside line thus blocking access to other side carpark as rear of car was too close to allow access into vacant spot by anything other than a very small car. There were at least least two parking spots with this problem

The house was large enough for us to stay with another family and yet still be private.
The beds were comfortable and ambience was great.
The water pressure was high and the water was hot.
The shower head was leaking through the connections and spraying over the screen.
We didn't find the extra firewood until we were leaving.

Cosy old style cottage with a handy onsite restaurant. Great fireplace to warm you up across the cool months. Beds comfortable with clean linen and plush bathroom towels. Great place for a family or small group!
Some furniture is starting to age but thats not a huge issue and maybe a little more dusting inside would be nice.
5.0
The room had fast wifi for work, the spa suite had the added bonus of a washing machine and tumble dryer so we didn't even have to leave the room. Decorated in tranquil colours with exceptional comfort! A quite room with little street noise despite being in the centre of town.
Warmer blankets needed or thicker duna. Got cold but then realised heater must have been on a timer.

It was greatly appreciated that our room was ready for an early arrival. Check in was quick and room was very comfortable. Enjoyed a nice hot breakfast delivered to room next morning. No traffic noise even though right on the main road through town.
The parking spaces seem a bit limited.

Location and comfy beds.
Closed restaurant motel needs a revamp.
4.5
The location was great, a short walk to coffee shops, shopping and pubs. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds comfortable.
The windows (which probably help with warmth in winter) didn’t open meaning on hot nights we needed air conditioning.
4.0
Location and size of the room.
No outdoor furniture or ability to open a window

Comfy beds, very clean rooms, staff really friendly.
The pricing for meals through the restaurant were a little expensive.
