Breakfast was fantastic. Location was good. Fernando was an excellent host.

Everything was great, I highly recommend this hostal. Fantastic location to walk to the old town, clean, good parking options around, comfortable bed and pillows, no noisy…
The breakfast included orange juice, coffee, toast and homemade cake. The host asked whether we wanted to have anything else or not (apart from what we were served).
In my opinion, this is expensive, but I guess it’s normal to have these high fares as all prices are increasing.
I didn’t mind, but there’s not something such as a bathroom separated in a room. This is en-suite for sure, but you have the wash basin visible in the room, and then the shower with glass and the loo obviously independent in a little room within the bedroom.

This place is perfect for a stay in Cuenca.
Short walk from the old town, its uphill.
Parking on quiet road outside.
Breakfast was good, and the host could not have done more.

Lovely hotel, attractive room with plenty of space, quiet, dog friendly, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
Lack of parking but this was partly due to a local feria.

it’s a lovely place to stay and very close to the old city, only 15 min walk and you’re at the top of the old town where some other restaurants are. It’s right next to the river too and a fantastic restaurant just around the corner.
Re the parking. there is free parking near opposite the accommodation and if that is full, then literally just around the corner (if the accommodation was on your left and you’re driving away from town), there are more there and if they are full, then literally just around the corner on the right is a little bridge to drive over and there are many spaces on the right as that’s the restaurant parking but it’s totally free for anyone. I left my car there for 2 days all safe and sound!
The lady who checked me in was just lovely and friendly!!!
if you go, be sure to go to the other side of the old town where the San Pablo Bridge is and if you feel up for it, definitely walk up to the big statue you’ll see on the hill. I was the only one there and the views were fantastic!

friendly helpful hostess, great location for the old town, nice room with a view of the gorge and old town. parking was perfect for our high vehicle. breakfast was perfect.

Perfect location, nice host.
The room faced the reception and entrance so it was noisy when people came home late or left early. The keys have a plastic chip attached to them which is very loud when locking or unlocking the door.

Cleanliness
Establishment asked for positive reviews in order to give you a surprise gift after. The value for money was really poor.

The room was very homey and the bathroom was nice as well. You've got mostly everything you need. The staff is very friendly, approachable and helpful.
No kettle/microwave/fridge.
The breakfast is good but could be better with more options and with an open buffet or a menu where you can see what you can have rather than having a person standing there asking you what you want and you don't know what they've got available. This might give the idea of the b&b being stingy and wanting to save money/food, but I can be wrong. It's just a humble advice.

Nice breakfast at a good price
Free parking right outside the door, but usually full.
More free spaces available 300 metres away.

The modern and clean room was on first floor with a small balcony and view to the river. I loved that view. The location was quiet, no street noise at night time, but still central for everything. One of the best walks in the area started just outside the hostal. Very good service from the brother and sister in the reception.
In short I absolutely recommend this hostal.

The host speak very good English. The room is clean, large, and the bed comfortable. Internet is fast, and the flat screen TV is large.
Parking sometimes could be a problem, if you cannot find a space in front of the building, there might be another small parking lot 200 meters ahead along the river. But there is no guarantee that you find a space.

Good location but approx 20 minute walk almost entirely uphill to get to center of old town. Free street parking in front. Quiet room. Hot water in shower.
Bed was a little squeaky and a bit soft/old(?) and sloped downward on one side. Slept with pillow on my side to compensate and was able to sleep well.

Nice place and pet friendly
The top floor room

The property is located along the banks of the river Júcar, nestled beneath the surrounding mountains and the medieval old town. Parking was not a problem.
The town (with its fabulous Cathedral situated in the Plaza Major) is worth investigating. There are plenty of old churches, monasteries and quirky narrow stepped streets between interesting houses to explore. Take comfy footwear.
Staff at the Hostal Ribera were super helpful, offering tourist advice, complete with a detailed map of the area and town; and in addition, offering an alternative breakfast which was gluten free.
The bed in room number one has a squeak which destroys the calm when you move.
Other guests located nearby were making a lot of noises until 1am.
Needless to say I didn’t have a great sleep.

Good and comfortable place. Due to circumstances we arrived after their latest check-in time, but the reception could leave the key in a lockbox for us.
As arriving late, no parking available closeby, and had to move my car at 8 in the morning.

This Hostal is a Gem! From the parking right out front to the extreme cleanliness and comfort of the bed and the room, everything was exceptional for this price range.
Others may not like the hike up the hill to the Casco Historicity, but it's short and invigorating!
