My stay at the Elizabeth was one of my best hotel experiences in many years.

The Hotel was exceptionally clean, light airy and spacious and in an excellent location. The breakfasts were of a high standard. The staff were all so helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I could not fault the hotel or the staff. So nice to not have to be saying what I didn't like because there was nothing.

Good service, ideal location for Sidmouth and also surrounding areas

It was good the parking spots had charger points attached but the charge of £15 per night was too high especially for Hybrid cars (as mine was) which only need around 12kw

I thought £210 a night was expensive for a hotel with no pool.

The breakfast was fantastic. it was a very busy bank holiday weekend. Staff were obviously ridiculously busy and continued to be pleasant.

I would have liked soap in the shower as well as the shampoo.

ideal short stay for location albeit slightly overpriced.

the location was ideal. it was very clean and comfortable with easy access via the lift to our room.

a promised evening meal only to be told none available and sent to another restaurant. very disappointing.

Central right by the beach. A few parkingspaces in the backyard. Bright and light decorated. Nice restaurant with good breakfast. Smiling personell. All in all a good hotel!

Lovely comfortable night.

Comfortable bed light airy room nice view. Lovely shower.

Only 1 egg at breakfast. Patio door opened out onto the bar area would have been helpful if it could have been private for that room. It was expensive for the size of room and facilities.

Amazing staff and location

We chose The Elizabeth for the location, on the seafront, and the beautiful interior design. However, it surpassed even those expectations. The staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble and they helped us with with a variety of enquiries. The room was lovely, with some nice artwork and everything we needed for our stay. We slept really well and the breakfast was really well presented and excellent quality. There is a very attractive bar lounge and dining room, and a seating area looking out to the seafront, where you can watch the World go by. We definitely will return one day.

I would recommend reserving parking. It was a busy time and there was very limited free parking on the seafront.

A family reunion at Sidmouth was a resounding success. Sidmouth seems to have none of the problems that other resorts ha

All the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. They all went out of their way to please us and they were so friendly. Parking was easy as spaces were private and clearly numbered. Hotel is right opposite the beach and close to shops and Connaught Gardens.

The room was small but we were not in it very much. Every thing worked, heated towel rail meant we could re-use towels. Bed was smaller than ours at home but we slept well but we slept well.
