Few days in Sidmouth

Perfect location for access to shops and restaurants The cooked breakfast was v good however the tinned fruit and lack of yoghurt choice not so good. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The beds were VERY hard resulting in us having to sleep on top of the duvet for comfort. The restaurant and lounge areas are very clinical with little or no ambience perhaps a little tlc needed!

Location is perfect A proper hotel Staff approachable and professional Spotless thru out Stayed in room 6A faultless

Only negative no parking Free parking on the front or carpark next to hotel, cheaper parking located at east end of promenade 5 minutes walk.

Great Post friendly hotel

The staff was very friendly, the location was amazing right on the areas front. Beautiful bright room with sea views. We had our dog Luna with us and she loved it, very dog friendly hotel

The bed was very uncomfortable, it took a while to fall asleep and woke up with a back ache.

Lovely, relaxing weekend 😎

We liked everything about the hotel. The breakfast was lovely, the room and bathroom was great and the staff were really friendly. Perfect sea views and close to shops and restaurants

The hotel car was full so we had to find parking on the street or pay for the public car park.

Comfortable hotel with great sea views.

Excellent breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable with a sea view. We were given an upgrade at no extra cost.

Parking is limited outside hotel but there is a large one opposite.

fantastic balcony room overlooking seafront. Nice room and new bathroom. Hotel seems to of had a massive revamp

clean, friendly, helpful, not expensive on drinks.

Lovely seafront hotel with helpful staff. Lovely bathroom with a large walk in shower Really good breakfasts in a spacious dining area.

Our small room on the second floor had a very uncomfortable bed, and the inland view was of the back of the hotel and fire escapes! Unfortunately meals at the hotel were limited, kitchen not open on some days. We ate out.

Happy holidays

We had a king size sea view room and it really was spot on, the shower was large, hot and powerful, the duvet like a cloud of comfort and the room was large and well planned out.

Excellent relaxing break .

Very friendly hotel ,lovely staff, excellent food and made us feel very welcome..lovely decor too ,excellent room with lovely sea view, just lovely and will stay again!!

Overall a lovely stay in a traditional seafront hotel with good food.

Central location on the seafront. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was good. Very dog friendly allowing dogs in the bar and restaurants.

Lack of car parking. The public car park opposite is very handy - maybe a residents’ deal with the car park could be considered. Some carpets looked a little tired.

Taste of seaside Britain

Staff were very welcoming and very friendly. It was a dog hotel that accommodated dogs of any shape and size. Would recommend staying here again.

The hotel is family run and really really friendly. wonderful uplifting atmosphere. i have stayed here several times before and the whole experience is very pleasant and positive. unpretentious. good value

We very much enjoyed our stay, we felt well looked after.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely. Our room had a fanastic view overlooking the sea with a balcony, it was comfortable, clean with plenty of space to relax.

The only downside was a dog in a room nearby that whined and barked.

My room was tiny with a broken dirty windows I don’t think £100 was value for money The room next door had a terrace which looked direly into mine?

Being small in stature I found hanging clothes and towels in bathroom rather difficult also the bed was rather hard.

shower overflowed from day one and unable to be fixed during stay. No main light working for 2 out of 4 DAYS. £210 /NIGHT REDUCED TO £190 for faciilities that Days Inn can get right

location, room size, comfortable bed, balcony, bathroom all very good

was a little dated with carpeting making it look of a lesser quality. the chairs in the room could have been more comfortable
