The view is spectacular. Place is very quite and good for couples. The location is top, near to the beach and city center of Taormina.

Vue superbe

La vue est spectaculaire. Depuis l'appartement, très beau lever de soleil. Non loin du centre-ville de Taormina et de Isola Bella. Très propre.

Nous avions loué l'appartement essentiellement pour le jacuzzi mais il s'agit juste d'un bain à remous d'eau froide.et en cette saison il est difficile d'en profiter. Le propriétaire a proposé de nous le remplir d'eau chaude le dernier jour mais nous n'avons pas pu trop en profiter car nous partions sur une visite touristique. Cuisine très peu équipée.

One of the best places in Taormina

Fantastic view from the appartement and the swimming pool, nice surprise to have a private jacuzzi in the garden and close to the city centre.

Fantastic location, fantastic hosts, well worth a visit

Our host was amazing, helped with our bags, gave us some local advice and was on call the whole time of our stay. The property had lovely views, everything worked and our hosts were very generous with coffee pods and water. Short walk to the town, which is the most beautiful in Sicily - excellent choice and a great example of how great hosts can really enhance a visit.

There are much better options in town

Nice view from the garden.

Emmanuel greeted us at the gate of the property. He seems like a nice guy. We walked through the garden, and some very drunk guests, to our apartment. As we walked into the room we realised the 2nd bed wasn't prepared for us. Later in the evening we found out that they didn't even provide duvet/blanket for the second bed. We've requested blankets but they didn't even respond. So one guest had to sleep without a blanket. By the way, the beds are super low quality. Also, the property states that the room comes with a private jacuzzi which is incorrect. Emmanuel said it doesn't work, not even cleaned or heated up. That's one of the reasons they charge extra for the room. That's simply false advertising. The interior of the room is very average, even smelly a bit. I do not recommend this property in Taormina, there are better options in town.

Stunning location

Clean crisp cotton bed sheets with stunning view to wake up every morning. Friendly staff that work hard to make your stay so comfortable.

The main ensuite needed tiling. But the other Shower room was perfect maybe they had just not managed it before new season beginning.

Sunrise at Villa Zagara Gardens

Location breathtaking Sunrises and Panoramic Sea Scape. The Staff so friendly and worked hard to make you comfortable Exceptionally clean. Emmanuell presented us with local wine and made us so welcome. He also managed everything so well, nothing was a problem to him he gave us everything we required. Thank you so much for our Beautiful stay. His Father was a lovely person and kind to us.

Exceptional

Villa Zagara Garden team went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They sent us a list of the places and restaurants to visit, as a well as the best way to get there. Location was perfect (quiet area, but close to local attractions and the city centre). Hygiene was at the highest level. We particularly enjoyed the view from our room. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting!

If we ever come back to Taormina and stay at the same hotel, we would love to have an opportunity to have breakfast at the property. For now a coffee machine with free coffee was available in the room which we still very much liked.

We loved the location and the view. Sunrise every morning from our room /tarrace, with the view of the valey and the coast. We liked the facilities, it was very clean and the owners were responding instantly to our needs. The size of the apartment was perfect for both of us. There was an orange juicer provided - a dream come true with such amazing oranges everywhere. My hubby loved the coffee from the coffee maker.

We were lacking few bits like bottle opener or a brum to swipe the floor, although to be fair, owners cleaned the room during our stay and were asking if we need anything. We just thought we don't want to bother them with little things like that, however it would help if that was provided. Nothing major though.

Pretty good!

Excellent host, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The room had an amazing view and was quite spacious.

Exceptional

Location and hospitality were up to expectation. Scenery, location, hospitality and room were exceptional!! This is a location and Villa that must be on the list of places to visit and stay. Comfort and safety for me are a must and am already booking for Easter break. Room has garden overlooking the bay of Taormina - Jacuzzi and a swimming pool that are truly amazing and the location from the centre of everything is within walking distance! Thank you so much! Avoid it, there are plenty of other places with nice view.

+ nice view from terrace + olive oil, salt, kettle, coffee maker in the kitchen

This place is like whole Sicily - looks good on the pictures, but reality is disappointing. The worst thing was the smell - it was very strong like homeless lived there before us. After 2 nights there all our clothes were soaked with that smell. Windows were opened 24h, but this helped only a little. Host brought us electric dehumidifier, but it also didn't help. - stink in the room was hard to stand - mix of cigarretes smoke and strong musty odor. We asked Booking.com to delete our booking, as we wanted to run away, but they didn't help us - we got different (worse) apartment than we booked, smaller bed, etc. - fungus on the wall (pictures attached) - toilet seat fell off after one use - water drips from under the sink - dirty bed sheets in the closet - even we asked host for clean sheets, we received stinky with cigarettes smoke, as host is heavy smoker - too few electric sockets in the kitchen - poor kitchen equipement - only one bread knife, so you need to cut vegetables and all other stuff with this one knife; lack of scissors, peeler, small pot, etc. This place should cost maximum 50€, not 120€.
