Zwar etwas abgelegen, aber sehr sauber, sehr nette herzliche Vermieterin, tolle Zimmeraufteilung, sehr gute Ausstattung. Perfekter Sternenhimmel jeden Abend und die Bilder der Unterkunft sind real

a true Atacama experience. Perfect

The house is lovely. Very spacious, comfortable, with a nice terrace facing a beautiful backyard. The setting is perfect, silent, a wonderful place to rest. Alejandra is available when needed and is full of good tips about the area. We definitely recommend this place.

the shower temperature oscillates a bit, but you learn how to use it .

Nice cozy place for a family stay

Very nice place! Everything is simple, but cozy and charming. Alejandra was really nice and very well equipped. Loved the fireplace.

Absolutely perfect for our family - loved it!!

Fantastic location on the edge of the Luna Valley and only a short drive from San Pedro. Very private and spacious, ideal for a family. Well equipped, comfortable and clean. Lovely rustic charm. Amazing view of the stars at night as very little light pollution here. Alejandra was friendly and helpful at all stages of the booking process. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay there again.

No wifi - not a huge problem but would have been handy to be able to research excursions or book things in advance. Possibly hard to get wifi there though as just outside of San Pedro.

Absolutely fantastic, don’t think twice about this option. Alejandra is a star!!!

Alejandra is a fantastic host. She responded quickly via WhatsApp and was a great source of information and advice on do’s and dont’s in the region. Special thanks to the cleaning lady!!! Stargazing right from the property (see pictures attached)

A pity there was no internet, but that we knew in advance and was not a surprise. Even with a working SIM Card and roaming, we didn’t get enough signal in the area. Again, no serious problem, but would have been nice to get internet access. This is an issue not only for Casas Valle de La Luna, this is an issue in the whole area and even in San Pedro de Atacama (nearby town) internet access is a challenge

Our favourite place to stay in northern Chile

The only reason I didn’t give this property a 10 is because it is a bit expensive - especially as I had to pay the Chilean tax which increased the price by 19% - this is the only time in Chile I had to pay this tax on accommodation. We loved this place - the setting is lovely and tranquil with views of the surrounding mountains. The house was charming and comfortable. There were unexpected benefits like free drinking water and cleaning everyday. We literally loved everything about it. It was also nice to be out of town - although only a 5 minute drive away. Alejandra has great suggestions as to what to do while in town. Honestly everything was great. Just to note we had a 4 wheel drive car and some previous reviews had said this was necessary to access the property - I don’t think it was, you could access it just fine with a bit of careful driving in any car. In saying that a 4 wheel drive meant we could visit all the nearby sites by ourselves and didn’t need to take any tours which made things a lot easier.
