It's a charming little place with very kind and friendly staff ready to help and offer advice at any time. Highly recommend if you are making a stop in Ollantaytambo on your way to Macchu Pichu.

Really central in ollantaytambo, close to the train station and the city center. The place is really beautiful and the breakfast was great.
The hostel staff was super friendly even letting us use the commodity after our check out.
We could let our bags when we went to Machu picchu.

Owner speaks English and had a taxi service arranged to pick us up from and drop off in Cusco. Family operated hotel. Friendly service from hosts. Clean rooms. Bed and blankets were comfy, thick enough for the cold nights. Free wi-fi. Great location.
Shower curtain too short or hanged too high, it doesn't prevent water from seeping out of the shower stall. After taking showers, even though they had an open screen to the outside, it was still very moist inside the bathroom. The plaster from the ceiling peeled off and dropped down into the sink.

Good view of the ruins, quiet edge of town, friendly staff.Comfortable and characterful.

The location was great. It took 5 minutes from the main station and 5 minutes from Peru rail station on foot.
The scenery and the breakfast were also nice.
We really appreciate the hospitality of the host when one of our members was sick.

The staff were delightful and the man took us to the railway stationin his car
We asked for a quiet room and he put us in a room at the top, which wasn't his best but was quiet. You'd be better in a room overlooking the courtyard garden.

The location is on the same street where you get the train to Machu Picchu. However, the city is so small, that you can easily access the train station no matter the place you stay. The bed was comfortable.
I was disappointed with the place. The garden that appears in the pictures is not well treated. The breakfast is terrible, they do not do even coffee - the coffee they offer is powdered to dissolve in water. The breakfast was really poor in options, neither eggs they had nor even bread we could have a small quantity. Would be better not to offer breakfast and just charge less. I consider the breakfast hours late considering a tourist place, in Cusco hotels Breakfast starts at 5h30 am, here only 7 am. They do not offer shampoo, but they sell it.

Friendly, warm welcome, quiet

It is a beautiful village-style hotel, good value for money. The bed is huge for both of us. The owner and all the staffs were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was more varied when there were many guests in the hotel.
The water installation can be improved. At one time the water stopped flowing when all my body was covered with soap. At another time, the water flow was reduced significantly for the whole night.

super nice view from the apartment, good value from money, quite, clean and we received the breakfast package for take away as we were leaving early in the morning it was really cute from the lady who prepared it

comfortable place. Great staffs. it is a family business. you can ask for anything if they are able to do, such as tea, warm water and so on. Got breakfast free. but you pay for eggs (very reasonable price, though).
There was some water shortage in the early morning.

Lovely location. Very quiet. Beautiful views. Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff.
Nothing.

great location, fairly quiet but close to downtown. amazingly gracious, helpful, and friendly staff; this place is an unassuming, easy, and welcoming way to spend a few nights in Ollantaytambo. also a great simple breakfast!
all good.

The location, breakfast, and staff are the best assets of Las Orquideas! Super close to the main square, with fresh bread every morning, and with Romulo that was super kind to drive us around to see Moray and the salines. The whole family is great and so helpful - couldn't recommend more.
That we couldn't stay longer.

Great location, kind staff and nice breakfast.
The bathroom was run down and very bad shape.
4.3
It's a nice place with friendly staff and a very convenient location. Also, they let you use the kitchen to prepare a late night tea, which beats drinking cold water when it's cold outside!
The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the garden, it wasn't well-maintained (trash in the grass etc) and the seating options weren't very inviting. It would be lovely if they put in some comfortable chairs, clean the tables and so on. Another thing worth mentioning is that the furnishings in the room are very basic, for example a stool instead of a chair for the table. But well, if you need to work on your laptop you might be able to go to the breakfast area, I didn't ask.

Very nice, clean and comfortable. Helpful staff, nice breakfast.
Everything was great

This place is own and run by a local family. its clean and beautiful. from your room you're staring at the majestic mountains and ruins, while listening to the soothing sound of the river. The staff is very friendly. the bed was comfortable. I was working during the day the wifi wasnt working but the owner fixed it right away and was enough to get me through my work day.
I wish there were more outlets, there's only one in the room and wasnt enough for my work equipment and charging items.
4.3
Very helpful staff. Convenient position both for the town centre and the railway. Good buffet breakfast with yogurt, cereals, fruits, bread, jam and drinks.
As read in other reviews: when we arrived the night there was warm water only for one shower. The other of us had a very cold shower.
4.3
The scent of the Orchids. The Manager care and gentleness.
Nothing, all good.
