Good location

The location was convenient for taking an early morning train and the main plaza was only about 300-400 meters away. The price was also good.

Cleanliness could be much improved. The room has lots of ants apparently as in the morning they were in all my things. The bathroom was not throughly cleaned either. The toilet was especially dirty. We did inform reception about the toilet and they immediately apologized and cleaned it.

- En los dos días que salí temprano me dieron el desayuno para llevar. - El estar cerca al río daba un ambiente de paz; no hubo ruidos molestos. - Su ubicación es perfecta para llegar a la estación del tren. - Si se avisa con tiempo te esperan hasta que llegues. Yo llegué pasadas las 10 pm y me atendieron con muy buena actitud.

Fine for a very short stop

Location nearby the train station. Bed was quite comfortable.

The sound of the river was so loud, it felt like we were sleeping on its shore and we did not hear our two alarms ring. Staff were not really welcoming.

Great location near train station and with takeaway 4.30am breakfast!

Great place to stay near the train station. I left at 4.30am to get the first train to Machu Picchu and the staff were kind enough to give me a takeaway breakfast- that was a very nice touch. Rooms clean and very comfortable. I recommend this place!

Just a place to spend one night next to the train station

Just the location, but it is a small town so pretty much all hotels have a good location

The pictures showed a so much luxurious hotel, like a colonial/ regional style, but it was not.

Easy access to train station, kind and flexible staff, and comfortable rooms.

Love the staff, location, and property. About a 7-minute walk to the train station and 5-minutes from the main square. Property had good hot water pressure, and clean rooms. Provided a hair dryer and didn’t have an issue with us leaving on an early/late train ride.

It was noisy at night especially because our room faced the street and stairs hallway. People would come in and out of the property due to their early/late train rides to Machu Picchu. Had to ask for a new set of towels since they didn’t replaced them when they clean the room.

beautiful property in the river - very comfortable and happy stay.

I absolutely loved that the windows of the rooms are facing the river! Beautiful water sounds and view of the ruins from the room I rented. I wish I could have stayed longer there. The room was also very clean, comfortable and hot water works in the shower. The staff was very nice and even gave me breakfast to go as I had to leave early for the train in the morning.

The internet is not great. But this was no problem for me because I did not have to work the days I was here, so I did not care for internet.

Very good

The location was perfect! Close to the train station, main square and the Incan ruins. Good and stable internet connection. Nice views over the mountains and the Incan site. The host was welcoming and warm.

The room and the bed were a bit too small for us. Will go for a bigger room next time, if available.

Very simple hotel

Very simple hotel. Located in between the train station and the town. Comfortable matress but small bed.

Photos are kind of deceiving. Bedroom and bathroom are really small. Seems to be relatively new but the style is not the best and there are some points that need addressing... There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bedroom wall was poorly painted. Breakfast is not the buffet style, they bring you the items and there is not a lot of variety.

WOW! What an amazing river view and service !

The view of the river was amazing. Many birds in the morning, rushing river sounds all night... views of the inca ruins from the top floor. Great attention to our breakfast needs!

Some people might prefer to stay further north on the ancient Inca streets, but the location just between the train station and town square was perfect for this quick visit.

Friendly staff. Maria gave us breakfast to go for our very early train trip. The room was comfortable, we had hot water working perfectly, the sound of the river next to the room was relaxing and the room have a little tv for entertainment.

Very simple amenities. Good for one night.

The lady at the reception was friendly. And the sounds of the stream behind the property was soothing.

It wasn't sparkling clean and things were outdated. I couldn't close the window in the bathroom so I felt cold in the shower. The breakfast was very simple.

Great hotel

The location was excellent, right next to the main square, restaurants and Ollantaytambo ruins, as well as to the train station. The hotel book us a taxi from the airport. Additionally, they gave us breakfast to go in the day we went Machu Picchu (at 4 am!). The breakfast was delicious every single day. It was so relaxing to have the river close and listen to it at night. The room had view to the river and to the ruins and mountains. The place was very peaceful. We slept like babies :) There was a terrace with view to the stars and to the mountains. Very romantic. The staff were very flexible and always helpful with indications, extra towels, extra toilet paper, additions or subtractions to the breakfast, etc. Could give the place 11 stars but 10 is the maximum.
