Great value, exactly what we were looking for.

Very nice room with parking right outside. Location great for Glacier Hike tour as booking center just about right across the street. Super friendly and helpful greeting when we arrived.

In bad weather, it is a little longer a walk to the main part of town than I would have liked.

We had a really enjoyable stay.

Rooms were clean and huge! Lots of space and very comfortable!

Too many insects found in the bathroom.

We had a short stay in this modern and clean apartment.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The kitchenette was well equipped with everything we needed. Nice and quiet at night. Good places to eat and bars were a short walk away. Staff were very helpful.

Peaceful oasis with close proximity to everything

Great location- easy walk to town and excellent view of the mountains; room was spacious, nicely appointed and the host very welcoming and helpful with recommendations.

Amazing stay in the perfect location

Absolutely fantastic ! Superb comfortable beds, incredible facilities and every single detail thought of to make your stay perfect .

Absolutely nothing . It is impossible to think how this accommodation could be better . Cannot think why this motel is not rated the best in NZ ( having stayed there in Nelson) as opposed to just the best in FJ

Very impressive motel.

The accommodation is well located on the edge of town and easy walking to everything. The room we ha do was spacious with two king beds. The facilities were superb and everything immaculately clean.

Nice relaxing stay in Franz Joseph Glacier, as 8” of rain fell in 24 hours, closing Highway 6 on the West Coast.

Most important is the motel has a generator so we had power when a major storm closed highway in/out of Franz Joseph Glacier and knocked down power lines for more than 24 hours. Room looks new or newly renovated. Table and kitchen counters are quartz, nicer than I would expect of a motel. Kitchen has everything thing necessary to prepare meals if so desired.

A lovely, cosy stay!

The staff were super lovely! The location was central and the rooms were super clean and well-equipped. We were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were even nicer than the pictures. A lovely, cosy stay.

We had a few rainy days so it would have been nice to have a TV we could cast onto - but that's not what we're in Franz Josef for, of course!

First class stay.

This is a first class motel. Very comfortable and immaculately clean. Bed ideal. We had a couple of very small issues which the relief managers sorted out without any fuss. Great stay!

Thank you for the friendly welcome on arrival. The room was warm and spacious for a couple. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The layout has been well thought out with a sofa, tv, vanity/workspace separate from the dining table. A small kitchen area with a stove, microwave, and fridge was available. Clean, quality bedding and comfortable pillows/bed. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in Franz Josef, we definitely will! Also within walking distance to the lovely Waiho Hot Tubs and the DoC.
