Well, for future travelers, the hotel, there is no beach, you have to leave the hotel, pay for a taxi or rent a car, it's about 6 minutes away by car.
hotel the room doesn't have a TV the bed is not good I stayed in a semi basement so there is no view the breakfast promises to give a continental it's only coffee, bread, eggs, hard, and fruit the place is quiet if it's enough to be alone

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Guava Grove: The rooms are decent size with a good bed, shower, inside and outside seating area and fridge, and a nice view towards the forest and the sea! The central seating area looks fantastic next to the pool. In the pool you can sit at the bar and enjoy really good freshly made food and drinks. It's only a 5 minute walk to a quite beach where it takes another 5 minutes to swim to the coral reef. The west end restaurant area is a very short drive away. The owner Cheryl and her staff are all very pleasant.

Prior to arrival date, the staff was very communicative and full of information! Unfortunately, there was too much smoke to fly in so the workers closed the airport. however the staff was extremely inclusive of what was happening and refunded our non-refundable booking as a result. that’s excellent customers service!

Sheryl's place is special. You'll be surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and a pool with a swim-up bar, and its affordable as well! On a gentle sloping hill with peekaboo views of the ocean, and Sheryl makes a great Piña Colada from scratch right in front of you! Not 'touristy' and built for a longer stay/ex-pat style. Thank you, Sheryl!

Wilhelmina who stood in for the emergency dealing with owner was amazing. Really went out of her way to make my stay work for me as I was in transit and had picked the hotel only because of the price and breakfast. There was no breakfast available.
who knows cuz it was just one of those days when every thing succumbed to Murphy's Law.
Could be a swell place when the owner is about and they have staff at work.

From being picked up at the airport and dropped off at the Ferry Terminal the next day Guava Grove was a delight The property was clean the food was tasty! We required an overnight stay and Guava Grove fit our needs. Owner Cheryl and staff Kimberley were a pleasure to meet. Cheryl provided a great breakfast to start our day. Great place for our short stay!
nothing that we didn’t like.

We had a great one night stay at Guava Grove, before catching the ferry over to Utila. Cheryl was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the country, giving great advice for our first time in Honduras. The pool and restaurant area are STUNNING, her garden is beautiful. The bed was one of the comfiest we’ve had while traveling and everything else was clean and as expected. Special shout out to Isaiah and the chefs for great service and excellent food!

Nice quiet hotel, good host, good location if you don't want noise and parties, five minutes from beach, 5 minutes from the local town (under 3 dollars) by taxi, good A/C, small pool, but nice and recently renovated. Nicely kept grounds. Good place for a relaxing break.

The location is quiet and perfect if you have a rental car. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The water in the shower was always hot. It was nice to have a/c. The pool was nice to swim, it was warm. We are glad we got the daily breakfast was always a great start! Sheryl the manager is knowledgeable and has lots of tips for activities.
Everything was nice during our stay.
I didn’t realice the property has good parking! and would have been great to have a rental car. Although it was easy to get taxis to move around to Sandy bay and nearby areas. We didn’t want to drive and it was nice to just relax and not worry about parking spots or anything, for 4-5days just need to bring like $300usd in $5s, $10s and some $20s and make sure they are not ripped.

Very clean and cozy, I felt at home. It’s a short walk to the beach, has nice view of the ocean from the balcony, coffee in the room is convenient. Quick cab ride to West End or West Bay.
I like how it’s tucked away from the main strip and the property is lush with guava, coconut, banana trees and tropical plants like birds or paradise. Very beautiful.

A lovely setting and a five minute walk to the coast, where there is a wonderful dive training school. The pool, bar, restaurant settings are both comfortable and very pleasing and my room was clean as a whistle, had great air-conditioning, and a lovely bathroom. The hostess was a great source of information, very welcoming, very interested in my stay and in helping me use my time well. Oh, and the new chief did wonders with my fish dinner!
nothing.

Surprisingly beautiful grounds hidden on a hill. I had passed it many times without knowing what was there. The hotel centres around a restaurant beside a pool. There's a friendly atmosphere as people of all ages gather for meals in the open air restaurant. The owner and staff are very friendly, the food delicious, the rooms comfortable.
Nothing. A hidden gem.
