Breakfast was amazing.
The view from the restaurant on the deck is gorgeous.
Meals are prepared from scratch and fruit is always fresh
Slightly clearer communication of what is included in the breakfast

The breakfasts were great. The staff was very communicative, accommodating and helpful. The rooms and the facilities are beautiful and clean and there were beautiful places to lounge everywhere. The restaurant was good and everyone was so friendly. We got a lot of help booking transportation and got a lot of suggestions and it was so great and convenient to have the dive shop right there. Highly recommend!
Not much to complain about. The location is just a short taxi drive to the main town and not walkable but that's not really something that can be changed.

Adding the breakfast to the room cost was an exception value, I loved that the resort was far from overcrowded (few guests at a time, which was lovely). The snorkeling was amazing
Nothing that they could do about it - but the mosquitoes are pretty intense, don't forget to bring your bug spray (however, they do sell some if you do not)

Great location if you’re wanting to stay close to West End but don’t want to be right in the thick of it. Such a tranquil place to go back to at the end of the day. The staff were amazing, they gave very honest recommendations and sorted everything from our transfer to our car hire. Food was great and the staff were so friendly. Perfect place to watch the sunset
Not really anything. Had a couple of issues with our shower but very quickly resolved by the staff so didn’t affect our stay at all.

Staff was very nice and personal, rooms clean and spacious, food was amazing, and diving center among the best I have tried! Can highly recommend.

Stunning room with ocean views, delicious meals, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, beautiful dock area on the water, wonderful dive center (very professional, with great access to some of the best dive sites on this side of the island), fast wifi, peaceful location in our favorite part of the island

Very nice room with an amazing room, comfortable with all the necessary equipment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the diving team was amazing too. Great restaurant, we had all our meals there during our 3 nights stay. We’ll come back if we come to Roatan!
Missing a few outdoor lounge chairs on the beach

Everything was amazing. From the property to the dive shop to the restaurant, everything and everyone is genuinely invested in you having a great vacation. The location is also great, just outside the busy and somewhat cramped West End, Tranquilseas in Sandy Bay gives you room to stretch out and relax.

I can’t sing praises loud enough for Tranquilseas! The entire staff (Jordan, Eliska, Gretchen, Brian, Harry, Cory, just to name a few…) were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home! And our room literally took our breath away when we walked in for the first time! The property itself has a rustic jungle vibe, but the rooms are newly renovated and gorgeous inside with amazing sea views. I’ll be sending any friends I can to Tranquilseas. Truly can’t say enough good things!
No complaints! Just a heads up that Tranquilseas is an accurate description and the rooms don’t have TVs, so you’ll have to entertain yourself in other ways!

It’s a lovely resort. very cosy. I stayed in the newly refurbished hummingbird room and it was fantastic. My primary stay was for the dive centre and that was exceptional. small groups and Eric the guide was great. the food was absolutely fantastic and you judging by the amount of customers coming in from outside, everyone else knows aswell!! It is quite small but that doesn’t detract from the from how wonderful the staff and accommodation is.

Beautiful property. Stayed in the Eagle Ray room and it was lovely. The shower was hot, had good water pressure, AC was strong. Housekeeping was offered daily. Loved that breakfast was included. Portions were generous and the lodge offered a nice variety. The complimentary fruit plate on top of each guest's breakfast selection was also a special and unexpected touch. And the 15% discount offered for the next stay makes visiting Roatan in the future tempting.
Sandy Bay is a bit removed, so if you don't rent a car, it can be a little bit of work to get off-property. There is a restaurant on the beach to the right 2 doors down. Beachy vibe, good selection - if you're looking leave the lodge. For transportation there are taxis that can be hailed on the main road (a 2 min walk away) or for the more intrepid, there's the local bus (it's a van). The cost to West End was 25 lemps per person.

I have been here a few times now and it feels like home away from home. The setting is absolutely stunning and the property is away from all the hustle and bustle and yet close enough if you fancy a bit of West End or West Bay. The food is excellent. The staff are absolutely amazing, a special shout to Jordan, Eli, Brayan, Vanessa, Harry and all the others. You can rent a snorkelling gear from the dive shop on-site and just swim up to the most amazing reef. Anthony’s Key dolphin encounters is just a few minutes walk down the beach.
The newly renovated Hummingbird room
is beautiful but could do with a full length mirror.

We stayed here as a group of 7 girls for my bachelorette party. We enjoyed the property for its very laid back, beautiful nature vibes. We loved the food and drinks from the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was especially good! The staff is incredible! They’re all so lovely and kind. Everything was clean, well taken care of, and safe!
Simple things can be added to the rooms like a couple of extra blankets in the closet and an extra trash can under the sinks.

The property is stunning! It’s in a very quite, tucked away location. The beach views from the property face sunset so we enjoyed that every night. They really thought out the beautiful rooms and aesthetics of the entire property. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the restaurant and bar was good and very convenient. We loved the hanging out on the double decker dock with the swings and the pool area. We were a big group of 7 and everyone raves about it.
The beds are sat on top of a concrete frame that feels a bit hard. Didn’t bother me until the very end of our stay though.

The entire property is lush and well maintained and beautiful to walk through, the views from my room (Tree Frog) were great.
The staff was friendly and worked together to ensure every guest had the best possible stay.
The managers were readily available to answer any questions and to help with any possible needs like arranging the required Covid test before boarding my flight back to the USA
I cannot think of anything about the property I didn’t like

cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure you are relaxed and happy. especially great service from Jordan, Brayan, Miguel, and Harris. Amazing value at this hotel and the service is amazing. Would choose this hotel over anywhere else. Dive center is great! And the food and bar!!! Impeccable. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.

My wife and I travelled to Roatan for our anniversary. Eliska made us feel welcomed right from the start and gave great recommendations on where to go on the island. Our cabin, The Hummingbird Suite, was perfect for us two: set a bit apart from the others. It has a nice porch/deck offering views of the courtyard or the water. Housekeeping did a fine job daily (thanks, Sayda and Leslie!) The food was consistently good and the service was impeccable (thanks, Vanessa, Bryan, and Harry!) There is a full bar (hat tip to David!) in the covered dining area and a nice pool (with waterfall) in the lower courtyard. The pier/palapa offers excellent sunset views and good snorkeling. We also had three dives with the on-site company, SeaDivers Roatan, and had a wonderful, safe time (thanks to Amanda, Samuel, and esp. George!) Jordan, the manager, kept the whole place running smoothly. There was always a patrolling security guard (he finally smiled a little bit towards the end of our stay!) The location is well-situated. We were able to walk up the main road to Carambola Gardens and used our car (Thanks to Ramirez Rentals!) to travel from one end of the island to the other.
Don't change anything, TranquilSeas. You might break the spell! You've made a great place and have an excellent staff.

This property is lovely! Amazing over and above service from managers Jordan and Elly! Thank you so much for the great holiday and taking such great care of us! Service at the restaurant could be a little slow at times (they were busy as it was over the holidays!). Fabulous staff at the hotel is so lovely, helpful and accommodating though - doing whatever they can t make your stay the best! We loved it and will return next time in beautiful Roatan! By far the best place to stay on the island!

All meals were enjoyable, some even adventurous. All prepared expertly and served with care.
let me think about that....???? Hmmm..... It was such a pleasant setting and staff and 'vibe' that I don't recall any 'issues.'

Breakfast was included and they provided good choices. The staff go above and beyond for you. Jordan arranged transportation to and from airport an no additional cost. He also arranged my PCR test they came to the hotel which was super convenient. It was my birthday and Siadi the housekeeper decorated my room and always had a smile on her face. Vanessa made sure I had fresh coconut water from their coconut trees for my smoothies, she said “nothing is impossible. Harry was full of life and all the staff is amazing. I stayed in the Hummingbird room it was very zen.

Tranquilseas was absolutely magical. The lush grounds and beach front property made our stay a memorable one. The entire staff from management, waiters, cleaning staff and kitchen staff went above and beyond to make our time there exceptional. I made dinner reservations at the Sunken Fish for my birthday and the food was absolutely delicious! the Chef even surprised me with a scrumptious cake. My girls and I had a marvelous time at Tranquilseas and will recommend it to anyone planning to visit Roatán.
