After reading some bad reviews we were a little concerned. But our stay was brilliant. Its an old cottage but inside was comfy cosy and very welcoming.
The kitchen had everything needed to prepare your own food. Living room was cosy. with some lovely books on the bookshelf and jigsaws in the cupboard.
Our kids loved the 3 beds in one room.
the cottage was lovely and warm and the beds were comfy.
Would definitely stay here again!
Just a 5 min drive to Amazon World and only a short drive to Shanklin.
I can't say we didn't like anything.

The property is in a great location with lots of walks for our dog. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable.
There was a stain on our bedding, and the freezer needed defrosting. Had a slight musty smell on entering the property but we soon didn’t notice it.

Good location, very quiet in the evening. Good walks and enclosed garden for the dog.
Read the reviews and thought seems ok, So not sure when property was cleaned, outside is as important as inside. Doors covered in cobwebs. Patio furniture covered, mean covered with bird droppings.
Inside seemed clean, however, carpet in living room was alive with Ants. Whilst in the kitchen preparing food, ants all over counter top. Thick dust on top of sofas. All windows upstairs dirty and hall full of cobwebs. Not talking one days worth. Ant powder done at front door, seems to have a big problem with ants that’s not been addressed.
Mat in the bath, after a shower all the grime came out, did not want to lift it up! awful plastic toilet seat that moved.
Had to sleep separately to my husband as the double bed, you just fell into the middle. Needs new mattress.
House needs refreshing, holes in the walls and ceiling’s. Fridge is not up to code. Salad draw has no top. Any raw items can drip onto the salad items. Freezer has a draw broken and iced up. Last person left grass in there. Bin had food waste at the bottom when I changed to rubbish bag. oh and you can not recycle as they will not remove it. Told to place in general rubbish. Not very good.
Not very happy with stay, booked it due to 8+ rating!

Lovely converted barn, was warm and cozy. The location was lovely and peaceful, there's lots of wildlife about. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay. There's a smart TV in the lounge that you can sign into your own netflix account etc. And bring your own consoles. There's a selection of board games and information leaflets on nearby attractions. The information file could do with an update, there's DVDs but no DVD player for example. But that didn't effect the stay at all. In the kitchen there's everything you could need and more. Enjoyed our weeks stay here. Would love to come back in the summer.
Henry hoover was a bit stinky when using 😂 smelt like a dog's home 🙈 I just think the bag needed changing? Nothing major though. Don't let this put you off. Hopefully the cleaner will check and change the vacuum bag often.

Location and property were excellent. Good literature on site about services and owners
Cleanliness and communication. We tried to call the given contact to notify that we found mould and dirt in the bathrooms. We got no response. We cleaned it ourselves.

Set in a beautiful, quiet rural location, approx 1.5 miles from Shanklin Old Village. Fantastic ample free parking at end of property. Lovely sized secure garden, suitable for our 6 year old daughter to play and our dog. Lovely cosy lounge with a TV and free view. An electric fire to keep us warm on the colder evenings. A great variety of games. Lived the game of Twister and doing puzzles with our little girl. The beds were sooooo comfy. Best mattresses ever! Lovely and clean bathroom. Maybe could possibly do with a slight update, but loved the views from upstairs. Kitchen was a fantastic size with lots of useful utensils, crockery etc. A useful washing machine. Gorgeous walks nearby with some really cute alpacas in the next field. Would love to return!
Nothing!
