Welcome to 81 Water Edge! This 3 BD/3BA townhome is located in the riverfront community of Waters Edge that offers the best of both worlds, from communal swimming pool and a fishing pier, to a 10-minute walk (3 min golf cart ride) to the beach! This townhome accommodates 8 guests and features hardwood floors throughout the entire house. The main area offers an open concept kitchen/dining and living room that leads to a screened in river view porch. The main bedroom is located upstairs and opens to a private river view deck complete with a table and chairs for your enjoyment. Each of 3 bedrooms have access to a private bathroom and provide plenty of storage space for guests.
Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

The community pool is open April-October from 8am-10pm (exact dates can vary depending on weather) and the fishing dock is open year round.
No grills, food trucks, or catering services that have to set up outside for service or preparation are permitted per HOA guidelines.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
No pets allowed. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not allowed in properties unless specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and approved by our office.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 8 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

The HOA has created a mandatory quarterly Pest Control service schedule. Please note that if you a current guests during the service, you must allow them access to the property to avoid a fine from the HOA. This property was perfect. Very clean and beautiful. The neighborhood was extremely nice, close to the beach and restaurants. Definitely recommend and will be renting again.

This unit was centrally located in Folly Beach. The furniture in the bedrooms and living room was great.
The unit was nice, but I would suggest the owner/property managers provide more hangers, replace pots and pans, check the electrical wiring for the under cabinet lights in the kitchen, and replace the kitchen sink.
It was the perfect size for our family.

This home was perfect for us. Master bedroom with a king bed with en-suite shower and whirlpool tub. Walk-in closet. A screened in balcony off the master with seating. The 2nd upstairs bedroom also had a bathroom with a shower. There is a washer and dryer upstairs. Downstairs bedroom had a bunk bed with a full on the bottom, also with a bathroom with a shower. Beds were comfortable.plenty of storage for clothing. Perfect for 3 adult women. Water pressure wasn't great in the downstairs shower but was perfect in the master bath. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook meals. Nice dining area and living room with ample seating, and a screened in balcony with seating. Nicely decorated. It was within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Short drive to Charleston and surrounding area. Everyone in the area was very friendly. We had a great time. The pool was small with the number of homes that share it with very little seating. The home is not handicapped accessible and would not be good for anyone who is unable to climb stairs. If you are a smoker you have to go completely off of the property, which some might find inconvenient. Overall this is a great property and I would recommend it.

Very nice stay. Not as close to beach as I thought but it was walkable. Very clean and spacious. It was a little hard to turn left onto folly road when we were leaving out in the afternoon. Busy street.

Townhouse was very nice. Would stay again. Location great for walking to town and beach to avoid paying for parking. Management services had the best response time I have ever experienced. A part of the blender was missing, so they brought an entire new blender.

Only negative on this property is the awful water pressure.

Great property. Location was perfect. We had small children with us so we chose to get a golf cart and that was probably a great decision. If all adults; probably could get away with no golf cart, if not carrying lots of stuff. The only problem- water pressure dropped significantly when more than one person would use a water source in the house. We all just planned accordingly to minimize the issues. I would highly recommend this house.

Property was great! The location in Folly Beach is ideal for beachgoing. It's proximity to Charleston makes it great for touring the city. It's clean and well-kept. Very comfortable. The huge garage makes up for the parking restrictions imposed by the HOA. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay at Folly Beach.

My husband and I stayed here with our two infants and our friends who also had an infant. The location and layout of the house is was perfect. Blocks from downtown and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The parking concerns are real and thankfully the neighbor let us know the car had to be pulled into the garage night one because I missed that note in the house rules.

Overall a good experience but garage door opener did not work and some minor repairs are needed.

Second, the water pressure was horrible. They did a great job responding to the issues, but was told that the pressure was normal for the neighborhood. Although there is 3 showers you can only use 1 at a time. If someone so much as uses a faucet while your showering be prepared to have a small drip of water pressure in the shower.
Third, the HOA there is very strict on towing. Each night we were there a car was towed. For three nights straight around 11pm to 2am there was a car being towed. There was multiple restless nights for our 4 year old being awoken and scared by the large truck they use.
Other than that the sight is clean, a few minutes from multiple restaurants and shopping. They communicated very well with me the whole weeks
