Very comfortable room close to the centre of Dresden

Everything about this property was excellent. Communication prior to arrival was very helpful making it very easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean, large shower, comfortable room, plenty of storage space. There was access from the room to an outdoor terrace for guests only with tables and chairs. There was a kitchen with good facilities and unlimited bottled water, tea and coffee. Location was excellent, 5 minutes walk to the centre of the old town and 2 minutes to a tram stop.

Internet reception was not always good in the room but always available in the building.

Great base for a city break in lovely Dresden.

Excellent location at one end of Brühl Terrace and minutes from centre of town and museums etc. We liked access to kitchenette on each floor to make hot drinks - others clearly prepared meals and ate in the kitchen. We had a top floor room which had efficient air cooling. Rooms quite simply furnished, but we liked the effect. Comfortable with more storage room than most hotels. We did not want breakfast, but this was available in an adjoining cafe. We’d stay here again. Recommended.

Best location and very charming hotel

Incredible location. The apartments are located in the heart of Dresden. You can meet sunsets near the river. The staff is very friendly. The hotel has a kitchen for guests where it is convenient to prepare tea or coffee, which are always available. There is a refrigerator, a coffee maker, all the necessary dishes. The room is not very big but very cozy. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

The location was excellent with the main sites all walkable and restaurants and useful tram stops nearby. The room was simple, clean, airy, quiet and well furnished. The beds were comfortable. The shower was very good and the bathroom had everything that was needed. The shared kitchen was very useful. It had a kettle, fridge and dishwasher with a table and chairs so you could eat in there. I would stay there again.

Loved the accommodation, and Dresden is a "must see" place to go!

The location is fantastic! 1 min walk from Synagogue tram stop, which is 5 mins from the main station. 3 mins walk to Frauenkirche and centre of the historical Altstadt. Very friendly staff, the place was very modern and clean. Lifts to all floors. As others have commented this is not a hotel and you won't get a hotel experience - it's more of an upmarket hostel, with private en-suite rooms and very good facilities eg modern kitchen on each floor. You can easily get brekkie and other meals nearby, as did we. Fully recommend this place and would go there again. One photo is the view from our room, the other is the Elbe boat mooring area, 2 mins walk away.

Nice stay in the Dresdner Altstadt

In the middle of the Altstadt. Room was basic and clean. Nice terrace and kitchenette

It turned out that on Sundays breakfast is not until 10 but only until 9:30. When we arrived at 9:15 we were told we had to have breakfast in only 13 minutes and after that she would kick us out (rausschmeißen). Luckily there are other locations for breakfast in Dresden.

Simple, working rooms in a nice building.

Room and beds were simple but good. Bathroom was good and modern. Some views from windows. Nice old building. Close to the river and the sights along it.

The AC machine did not turn on, whichever button we pressed on the remote control. With windows open at night it was ok.

Very high price for such an old hotel.

Location is perfect !

No air conditioner! Some places are dirty. Something that look like blood stains on the window blinds. Curtains can cover only third part of the window, so they are useless and you should use these dirty blinds. Nothing modern in this hotel. The price so high is only for location.

A quiet place at the city center

A very comfortable and quiet hotel close to the Altstadt city center. The room is dorm-room-like, because it's renovated from an ancient gardener residence. Most of the stuff are self-serviced. Every floor has a kitchenette with clean tables and utensils.

It is an older Evangelical church property. It has a lovely refined feel. My sort of place.

It is a lovely place, surrounded by garden and trees. A short walk to all the restaurants around the Frauenkirche, and the Tram 3 and 7.

Several times each day, I had to shut down my computer, and log into the Wi Fi again.

Very happy

Very clean, very friendly and helpful.

Just a suggestion. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon. It should perhaps be made clearer that the reception is only open Monday to Friday and closes at, I think, 3.30. We had to get our key and information from the safe. That was OK, but we were a bit unsure of how it was going to work until we actually got to the hotel. We wondered if we needed a four-digit number as you often do with a safe, but in fact you didn't.
