Excellent meals. Friendly staff. Beautiful location. Great facilities.
The single track road to the hotel. Fortunately, we didn't meet any other vehicles. Suggest passing places are clearly indicated.

Great staff and activities around the house.
Nothing for me, some in our group had one or two things go wrong. I’m use to old homes and understand it is part of it.

Plumbing noises room above late at night.

The location was far off but beautiful grounds. Huge bathrooms. Spa was nice with really large shower rooms.
No elevators. Reception not knowledgeable nor helpful. At check-out, invoice was wrong - for everyone in my group.

A beautiful location, very relaxing with excellent spa
facilities. Very good service in the bar and restaurant. Superb food quality. A wonderful receptionist Sarah. Will definitely return.

Very quiet and peaceful. Setting was fantastic and it was lovely to be on the island for walking and seeing wildlife. Rooms very quiet and bathroom large and luxurious
The deck restaurant was closed for the season (not stated on booking) so we ate in the main restaurant. However the A La Carte menu was very restricted and expensive unless you had all three courses but bread was not included.

Perfect. Remote, glorious location, quiet, exclusive
and glorious in every way. Lovely staff.

The staff and location
it is tired and neglected. the newer buildings
are poorly constructed with considerable wear
and tear, veneer peeling off bathroom units,
cracked tiles, in the spa suites huge rooms with
no personal touches and closed in by high
walls when beyond are views. bed linen is
synthetic and lumpy

An absolutely stunning island castle resort complete with a 6 hole golf course and a lovely spa facility. Not to mention one of the better restaurants I’ve been to in Scotland. All set to the tune of white glove service and the sounds of nature.
Nothing stands out negatively.

Staff absolutely fabulous. Setting beautiful. Facilities exceptional. Food excellent. Bedroom, living room, bathroom all excellent size. Personal parking right outside our door.
Nothing. It was perfect in every respect.

Exemplary service from every one of the staff, amazing culinary experience and the most beautiful and utterly stunning location
I cannot fault the hotel, my room was beautiful and fairly large but only had two small heaters which didn’t produce enough heat to really warm the room as I would have liked but this did not affect my stay or enjoyment of my visit.

Fantastic staff, location and food
