Fabulous stay.

It may be there for a reason but was baffled by a pice of art of woman with yellow marigolds. Bizarre.

Romantic, Relaxing and Enjoyable

Everyone was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were exceptional and the amenities were above expectation.

Very good, but could be better

Excellent decor, luxury feel, comfortable bed, high-quality bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Under-par restaurant given the quality of the rest of the hotel. Waiting staff need more experience and training, for example, white wine was served at room temperature, and somewhat clumsily too. Fish in the starter and main was nice but rather too small in quantity.

A truly luxurious and relaxing stay

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel comfortable. Everything was superb. The dinner was great , relaxing by the fire, wandering the grounds- everything was beautiful.

The whole experience was above and beyond what we expected, from the drive up to the hotel l, the meet and greet on arrival, the food was excellent and the staff, younger and experienced were an absolute pleasure to deal with, will definitely be going back

Amazing, beautiful surroundings with Deer and Squirrels and the amazing Staff!

Loved the refurbishment! The quality, the Staff, the bedroom, the ambiance of the place, the peace and quiet. A Huge shout out to all the staff, amazing attentiveness to all the guests! Loved Sarah from the gardens, she was so lovely and gave us a bunch of the beautiful tulips to take home!

Great stay at Cromlix

Facilities in room, welcome with glass of fizz, food was excellent. Little touches like home made shortbread from Andy's maternal gran's recipe and magazines in room added to enjoyment. Lots of lovely teabags to choose from.

Room overlooking rubbish bins from bathroom so pulled down blind. Felt bit ignored at bar while waiting for our table at dinner. Would have been better to look at menu and our order taken while having drinks. Had to ask for my breakfast order to be taken. Nowhere near mirror to plug hairdryer.

Another brilliant stay

Staff always efficient and polite. Whole place seems like home - but better. This is my favourite hotel. We love watching the chefs at work in the open kitchen, and then eating the food!

They had thought of everything

The food was delicious, cooked in the open plan kitchen while diners sit in the dining room. The staff were friendly, giving attentive service. We felt welcome to explore the building and its surroundings.

Beautiful Property but not worth the cost

The property is beautiful, we saw deer in the morning playing outside our window. The breakfast was very nice.

The wifi kept dropping out. Smoking was allowed outside near the rooms which came through the bedroom window. The rooms are very hot and there is no temperature control

Wonderful overnight stay

Liked everything about it. The High Tea was excellent. The bed was so comfortable and the sweets on the pillow at the end of our day was a lovely touch. Staff were so helpful and well mannered. The Murrays should be very proud of their staff.

There was nothing to dislike. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Magnificent

Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at (and we’ve been to a few!) The staff are exceptional and the building wonderful. Never experienced service like it - your every need anticipated. Superb.
