We had a fantastic time here, I wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a great time with family for the weekend. Patte was a fabulous host and communication was perfect. The location is peaceful and the home was very comfortable with plenty of room. Views are spectacular and we even saw 2 Orcas!

We recently stayed at Bakerview Beach House in Coupeville and had a truly enjoyable experience.
Both Patte and Don were exceptional hosts. They let us settle in and checked that we have everything we needed. Offered suggestions for places to eat (we really like Callen’s) or places to see. We did appreciate their input.
The property is located in a peaceful neighborhood with limited through traffic. Every one we met while walking our dogs were super friendly and would stop to chat. Don’t forget to check out Patte’s farm across the street. Her honey from her bee hive is delicious!
Access to the property was straightforward, plenty of parking and easy passcode entry. The house has everything you need except food. Plenty of room to store food, cook and eat; we spent most of the time cooking on the gas grill.
The large deck which overlooks the beach, Sound and Mt Baker. Beautiful morning sunrises while drinking coffee, definitely the best way to wake up. I had a hard time wanting to move from it. Unless, you want to climb the stairs to the beach and look for shells, tide pools and seals that pop out of the water to see what you are doing. We were able to Kayak out, set traps and catch crab right in front of the house. Talk about fresh!
We will definitely be back. It was hard to leave the island.

My wife and I had a wonderful family reunion with our son, his wife and our4 grandkids! The view from the deck in amazing - we loved just drinking in the beauty and peacefulness. The beach walks were full of wonder and the crab-fest every night was such a treat. Patte, the host was incredible - She was provided everything we needed and more! She is a wealth of information on the flora and fauna of the island, especially the tideland creatures. Not to mention her mini farm across the road - the kids loved it! We will be back!

We stayed here for a week with five adults and two small dogs. Very comfortable space with nice beds, very well equipped kitchen and wonderful deck with gorgeous views! Stairs to the beach make it fun to go explore. Aside from the one time we had naval jets flying over doing drills during our stay, it is very quiet and peaceful in this area! Patte is a wonderful host, and we loved visiting her fiber farm and meeting her animals!

I was a little worried this house would not live up to the advertisement, but I was not disappointed. This was an amazing house with amazing views and affordable. It was not suer luxurious or a mansion, but it was perfect for a family. The kids loved the beach access, and the fact that it was dog friendly made it even better. Plus, the owner was right next door incase we had any issues. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, Patte, our host, was so gracious and accommodating. She allowed us to check-in early and check-out late. She sent me videos before our stay, of the gray whales feeding in front of the house, although we did not get to catch a glimpse during our stay, but there were plenty of binoculars. The view was breathtaking and I wouldn't have cared if we were in a tent.
That being said, the beds were super comfortable. I was in largest bed and slept like a baby. Kitchen well stocked and Patte even provided fresh eggs from her chickens for $5.00. They hadn't laid that morning and she jokingly texted she was going to go "squeeze some chickens" LOL
We asked to visit her animals across the street and we got the full tour. The goats and little horse, the chickens and alpaca - so sweet!
The driveway easily fit our 3 cars. House code was easy to get in. Patte lives next door and all the stained glass, she did herself - her hobby.
The BBQ was out of propane but her husband quickly came over and replaced it and made sure the BBQ could start up for us. The only thing missing was a meat thermometer.
We brought our little dog, and the only rule was not to leave the pup alone in the house and not to let her on the furniture, which was easy to comply with.
This was a girls wonderful weekend. Be sure to reserve your ferry if coming from Pt. Townsend to Coupeville, at least 24-48 hrs in advance, as they take 80% reserve, and only 20% drive up. Thanks Patte!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Patte’s place on Whidbey Island in late February.
The house is spacious and functional, while the beach/water is just out the back door. The pictures don’t do the gorgeous view justice. We even saw a gray whale out the window.
Patte is a fantastic host and even showed our toddler her farm. A truly special weekend!
5 out of 5 - hope to stay again in the future!

This is our second year enjoying Patte's Baker House over Christmas. We love the covered outdoor deck and spent many hours covered in blankets and chatting with our adult children. Highly recommend. Even got to see Mt. Baker through the clouds and enjoyed fresh eggs and honey. Comfortably slept all 4 of us.

Clean , comfortable and well stocked home in a walkable neighborhood. We spent most of our time on the back deck enjoying the sound of the waves. Patricia is a lovely host and easy to contact . Very convenient location to Coupeville and enjoying the towns restaurants and wharf.

We loved the view and were so excited to witness the rare visit of Orcas from J pod. There was plenty of space for all of us and a great kitchen to prepare meals. Patte was very responsive to any message we sent. We would definitely return. The view of Mt Baker was gorgeous once the fog lifted in the morning. The stairs to the beach were very easy to navigate. We are very thankful we were able to stay all together and bring our dogs. This was the first family vacation as adults with our mom. This will forever be an experience we remember.

Property in lovely location. East-facing so didn’t get much sun and the house could do with a proper clean but otherwise well kitted out and comfortable. Hot water was an issue that the owners next door could have been more proactive about.

We loved the location. Loved the house. Very clean. Patti was exceptional ( property owner )
Super convenient having her next door.
Loved meeting her animals.
People around the area were all super friendly.
Whidbey Island is a all around great place.
Simple, away from all of the hustle and bustle of Seattle.

Stayed 4 days 3 nights with family and friends! Stunning views of the ocean, wild life surprises, and plenty of room!! We had comfy beds, plenty of linens, spacious showers and bathrooms. The kitchen had lots of extras, enough plating and dishes to cater an event. The stairwell to the beach is about 60 stairs down to the beach front!! Yes, at the base of stairs was the beach!! If you are looking to have a stay on Whidbey Island, this is the place. Absolutely Beautiful!!

Our family of four found our stay to be awesome! Very secluded and peaceful and close enough to plenty of Whidbey island/San Juan Islands activities. Saw some Orcas just before leaving. Everything was beyond our expectations.

This was by far the best vacation rental i have stayed at. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and sitting on the deck enjoying that amazing view was so very relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely be visiting again.

Our family of 4 + dog had such a wonderful time staying here! We saw wildlife galore from the huge covered deck (a grey whale! seals! so many birds!) and loved exploring the beach during low tide. Patte is an excellent and responsive host who also generously donated her time to show my kids around her farm (they LOVED it!). The house is comfortable and well maintained. We will be back! Thank you!!

Our family of 3 adults had a very enjoyable stay. Patte was responsive and friendly. The view from the deck was excellent, even in windy, cold, and rainy weather. We enjoyed exploring the state parks - too many for such a short trip.

We enjoyed a perfect family get together at this lovely home. There is outstanding access to a very walkable beach, a deck and stunning views. A bonus is the warm and responsive hostess who lets guests spend time with her friendly farm animals. We all loved our stay!

Comfy house right on the water
Such a treat
Thank you

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view, of course, was a key feature, but there were so many highlights. The house is well appointed, beds are comfortable, and there was more than enough space for our family of four - and a dog - to relax. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with a small collection of farm animals across the street. Also, we purchased a jar of honey and farm fresh eggs from Patte, which I highly recommend if you have the chance.
We were treated to seeing fighter jets fly over, a bald eagle circle right in front of the deck, a seal swim around by the shore several times, and masses of diving ducks hanging out. We could have spent our entire trip just watching the water.

We loved our short stay at the Bakerview beach house! It was perfect for our family holiday get together. Patte was a wonderful host, responsive to questions and requests. Loved all the cute dishware to serve our holiday treats and looking out at the wonderful water view. Mount Baker was clouded over, however we were treated to a close up view of orcas feeding and sea lions swimming by. My grandchildren loved visiting the farm animals across the street and had fun on the beach hunting for shells. We would love to stay at the Baker view Beach house again!

Patte's place was perfect for us over the Christmas holiday. The view and covered deck is where we spent 80% of our time! We were able to bring our fur-baby and had a wonderful, relaxing time together. Highly recommend - the house if much larger than the photos... and did I mention the amazing deck! We were able to walk along the beach and in the neighborhood too :)

From start to finish our rental experience was top notch. Check in and communication was flawless. Property owner was accessible but very respectful of our privacy. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautifully the landscape accented the house. We opened the door and could see a gorgeous view of the water!! The house was clean and comfortable. We sat on the beach, cooked great meals and enjoyed every minute. Patte provided us with fresh eggs and honey and a tour of her small farm. The only bad part of our trip was having to leave. Hope to return.

We so enjoyed our stay at Bakerview -- we spent a week here to celebrate a milestone Anniversary and it was just perfect. We fell in love with the patio and woke up early every morning to enjoy the sunrise view which was different and spectacular every day. The evenings were just as wonderful with starry views, fresh air and the sounds of local wildlife. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and the central location is perfect for exploring the island. Patte is a fantastic host -- be sure to ask her for some fresh eggs and honey (so delicious) and to get a tour of the farm across the street! We'll definitely be back...

We spent a month at The Bakerview House. We discovered everything there is to do on Whidbey Island. Especially enjoyed the hiking trails. The wildlife we saw was amazing… eagles, whales, seals, kingfishers, blue herons. Mostly seen from the deck. Stay here as long as you can!

We had a wonderful family vacation at the beach house. Excellent location, animal farm across the street, whale jumping out front, GORGEOUS view! Patte makes the best tasting honey. We made sure to buy more to bring home. We enjoyed the home and had a wonderful stay! Thank you

It's all about the view. You can spend a week just watching the view. Patte was an amazing host. The property is very nice. Everything we needed was there. Great steam shower was a pleasant surprise. Beach access from the back porch and whales/eagles floating by. Did I mention the view?
