Central location and very close to NCP car park.
Room was very cold as it had very large windows and one heater that couldn’t cope. Also the heater was very complicated to use and no instructions. Room had a damp smell. Shower took forever to get any hot water but kitchen water gets dangerously hot. Took 7 days from check out to receive damage deposit back and had to chase through booking.com chat, what’s app and eventually text to get it refunded. No replies to any messages on either booking.com or WhatsApp. Only replied when I txt. Owner stated refund would take 2-3 days but only when I chased again after 7 days was it refunded. Room could easily have a king or super king but only small double which feels uncomfortable for 2 people. Tv unit was broken and didn’t shut. Had to move table and chairs to be able to get around bed. I wouldn’t stay again under any circumstances.

Spacious, tidy, comfortable, well stocked and lovely bathroom.
Nothing

Good design to room, useful kitchenette and wardrobe space and exposed brick was really to see as was having a TV with Netflix available.
Bed felt small for a double and made an awful lot of noise.
Shower pressure and hot was poor.
The heating in the room wasn't sufficient.
4.1
Great location, good size and great quality accommodation

Loved the mini kitchen, microwave, fridge etc.
Mattress rather soft. Bedding nice quality.
Soft mattress
Poor water pressure in shower
Background hum throughout stay - is this the air conditioning?
No where to park

There was a problem with the room I had been allocated. The team resolved it quickly which was appreciated.
The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed.
Finding the room I had been allocated wasn't made up when we arrived.

Basement room, difficult to carry suitcases up and down. Looks like a haunted place.

Very clean and spacious (lovely smell!)
Great location.
Separate bath and shower.
Sofa as well as bed, table and chairs.
Kitchenette with hob, kettle and small oven plus tea/coffee and utensils.
Quiet location.
Easy self check in.
Heater took a while to kick in (we picked a very wet and chilly time to visit - July!)
A toaster would be a good addition to the kitchen area.

absolutely spotless! brilliant location and just overall amazing stay.
my only niggle was…. it looked as If the window had tried to be prised open from the outside, leaving a crack in the wood and not being able to locate the 2 holes/pins to secure the window. for my own piece of mind I had to locate the pins further along the window sill so I’d feel comfortable leaving out belonging in the room.

very spacious great location for the crucible
advertised as sound proof but could hear everything from the apartments around as though we was in the same room

Our room was amazing, super clean and nicely decorated. Really nice features. Had a little self contained kitchen, amazing bathroom and the bed was so comfortable we slept so well. The gentleman who show us to our room was brilliant he helped us and was so friendly and welcoming.
This was our first time in Sheffield as we was going to see Russell Howard and both my Partner and I said if we come back again we would book without a doubt. 10/10
It's nothing we didn't like just a mix up with the room key and it not being where it should have been, however this was sorted within 5 minutes by a lovely Gentleman who shown us to our room and made sure we was OK, only other little thing was the TV it didn't seem to work with the remote, however we didn't end up using it. So wasn't a big deal.

great location

Lovely clean bathroom and hallway, bedding was clean and location very central but quiet - behind the cathedral and away from the noisy bars and main road. Note that this room is below street level.and involves a rather steep set of stairs down to the basement.
There was a kitchenette, but a complete absence of cutlery. We couldn't even stir a cup of tea!! The room was clean but it was clear that someone had been smoking heavily in the room as it smelt terribly of stale cigarette smoke which gave me a migraine overnight. The windows didn't open for fresh air and it was impossible to get hot water in the overhead shower, we had to make do with the handheld one.

The room was clean and comfortable and felt very luxurious
it was a bit tricky to find

apartment flooring and room was quiet cold. It smelled of smoke. there was problems with getting hot water. no bin or waste bag available. dirt coming off from walls in bathroom. overall very disappointing.

The apartment was spotless, facilities worked fine, bed was very comfortable.
Had a few issues with booking in

The staff, the gentleman who let us in, was very kind and lovely and very talkative
How cold the room was even though the heating was on.

Absolutely fantastic location if you want to be close to the city centre. It was just a few minutes walk to the cathedral. There is no parking at the property, but we were able to park easily close by in a NCP car park.
The building is accessed by a key code and then the key to the studio is in a locked box, for which the owner provided a code on the day. We initially had a problem getting the code, but the owner had provided her direct contact details, was very responsive and resolved this within a few minutes.
It is a good sized room with a kitchenette and wardrobe tucked away behind sliding doors, and an en-suite modern shower room.
The double bed was comfortable and the room was warm enough. Free Wi-Fi was available.
Cleanliness was generally very good, although there was a previous resident’s sock under the bed..
Towels, bath mats, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, crockery, cutlery and washing up liquid were all provided.
We would definitely stay here again in the future.
There was no hand soap in the bathroom, and no tea towel or dishcloth, making it difficult to wash and dry crockery effectively. There was also only half a toilet roll, so I would advise taking some with you if you’re staying here!
The small fridge in the kitchen area was handy but badly needed defrosting.

Modern setting
Area was down a dodgy alley , didn't feel safe

Very clean and tidy, stylish and cosy looking apartment - the under floor heating in the bathroom was a lovely bonus.
Felt quite cold during the night despite having radiators on, and while the kitchenette was clean and well-equipped, I was a little surprised that there wasn’t a fridge.

Was in a great location and there wasn’t any messing about with machines to check in.

Samantha was accommodating in that our original apartment had not been cleaned up, so he provided an alternative apartment straight away.
Samantha was polite and apologetic. Samantha was fantastic.
Keep up the great job 👍

The whole building stank of weed. The room itself was horrendous, to the point where I was uncomfortable and my clothes smelt of it. Really disappointed as the accommodation was really nice
4.1
It was cleen, central, nice bathroom and kitchenette and it was good value for money
I did not receive the correct code to access the building and I had to call the landlady to get it.
The floor in front of the kitchen/bathroom is really funny and I siggest fixing it.
That said the real problem there is the room temperature. The room was cold and when we got back home after dinner to go to sleep we increased the temperature on the thermostat next to the bathroom, assuming that would have warmed up the room. It did not, and we managed to find only in the morning that there was a separate switch on the radiator, hidden by the sofa, but that was too late to avoid that our little one (4 month old) did not sleep without heating. I appreciate that the price per night we paid was quite modest but heating is too important hence my "fair" valuation of how comfortable the suite has been. That said I confirmed that the property meet the expectations, assuming the owners will clarify to new guests that the thermostat controller is not how the room temperature should be managed.
I also have back problems so the very soft bed is not ideal l, but that it is my problem so I have responded "good" at the specific question.

The apartment itself was a lovely space, comfy bed and had character that you don’t get with chain hotels. Also so close to the shops/centre of town
The shower was a bit weak and didn’t get that hot. Also, not the owner’s fault but there was a strong smell of smoke in the bathroom coming through the vent. The view wasn’t great (right opposite a building), we didn’t mind but it might not appeal to everyone.
4.1
location and layout
noisy. poor sound insulation from upstairs apartment . when you convert a building with high ceilings.. why not spend some money on sound insulation.. they didn’t!
