Le confort du lit
La disposition de la salle de bain n’est pas bien idéale. Les chambres ne sont insonorisées, nous entendions nos voisins se brossaient les dents.

The view from the dining room. The cordial, sober behaviour of the service providers.
Our room.

The place was amazing. The lake view was everything for us ! They served delicious meals and the chef personally spoke with us regarding the meals. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was definitely a wonderful stay !

We received very warm welcome from everyone at the villa especially Chiran, the Assistant Manager. They were so helpful and attended to all our requests. Ashan, the waiter, always served us with a smile and attended to all our meal needs.
Overall, the service provided by everyone in the villa exceeded our expectations! My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy villa that faced the lake and beautiful mountains.
It is not what we didn't like but some suggestions to further improve the room conditions.
The room had only one power point to charge the phones, boil water in the kettle and use the hair dryer. Hope the management can add an additional power point in the room.
The adjustable mirror in the toilet was too high and couldn't be lowered. Not suitable for people who are short!
The villa provides good breakfast and dinner but no lunch. It would be good if they could add some simple lunch menu for tourists who may want to eat in sometimes.

amazing view and staff very helpful, can’t ask for more. breakfast was also great. it is a small boutique hotel but perfect and fits the purpose if you are staying 2 nights or less

Elegant beautiful place, with excellent maintenance , so it looks as new. The View from the balcony was amazing, the best view in this town. Food was very delicious. The staff and manager are amazing persons, kind, polite, helpful, intelligent. The disco and karaoke room was an extra bit of pleasant surprise,it's so well equipped and it was such a good fun after the dinner ,which gives great entertainment to our small group of friends. Our stay was a 5* experience. Amazing place, highly recommended!

Size of Room, the rooms were clean with marvellous views. Nice and quiet. Staff was responsive to requests.
Didn't like the switching of lights and most of the time had climb the stairs in darkness. Also staff and manager staying around during breakfast.

The people were great there! They organized us a tour to horton plains and further to the next hotel. The rooms and the equipment were impressive. The breakfast was the best we received on our whole journey! We can recommend it 100%!

Breathtaking view. Calm place. Great service. Helpful staff.

The service was wonderful, English spoken well, local information was detailed and correct. Walking distance to a strawberry farm for fancy strawberry and cream. Wonderful fresh vegetable salads and traditional sri lanka foods prepared by a chef. Showers hot and fantastic view from the warm rooms.
A little far from center of town but only an easy tuktuk ride away.
5.0
Conveniently located, only a short tuk tuk ride to Nanu Oya Station. The villa is surrounded by many tourist attractions like Gregory Lake and Park, Lovers Leap water fall, Pedro tea estate, and factory. Our room was facing the lake - it was very spacious, and we had a lovely view of the hills and tea estates.
All the staff are very helpful, polite and very friendly. They helped us arrange transport and negotiate a good price.
The food was amazing, there is both Western options and Sri Lankan options. The chef also came and talked to us during dinner to see if everything was okay.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and we would definitely return.
Everything was great.

Location is good and the food was also good.
It was a nice villa and it has a nice view from the restaurant / Common area.
We liked our night there.
More heat. It was very cold.
They said they would come with a heater, but they never came with one for our room.
It was raining and cold - but that is not the hotel or the peoples' fault.

beautiful room and view

Lovely modern room with beautiful view on the lake from the balcony.
The staff was really helpful when we asked for laundry services or to book a tuk tuk for us.
The breakfast offer was a bit limited and the chairs in our room were broken.

The villa has a really nice interior design, the rooms and all facilities look great. From the rooms and garden there is a great view on the lake and part of Nuwara Eliya, especially in nice weather.
Our room was comfortable and well equipped.
My impression was that the staff is just trying too hard. They were following us every step we took, which at some point was already a bit too much. At checkin I was still filling out papers with a hat and a mask on when they tossed a hot towel into my hand. The gesture is nice, but the timing was terrible, I couldn't really do anything with it at that point.
Food is okay, I guess. Breakfast is very continental, I would have enjoyed some Sri Lankan bites, but that's just me

Large room and balcony with a great view of the lake. A good breakfast.
Condensation in the morning from the large window area made the room feel damp.

The best staff I ever saw in hotels of this type. Thank you very much. I have felt like a king

The hotel generally was good, with a nice decoration and quite clean.
The location of the hotel is not good, it is too far from the town and you can not do anything there. We had booked dinner in the hotel, since there was not any other choice in this region, and the meal was practically some noodles (supposedly with chicken, but chicken was not existent!). We left the table very hungry yet. In the breakfast we were served orange juice with salt! Everything in the hotel's restaurant sucks, and this is important because there is not something else to do in this location.

Great view across the lake. Comfy room.
The poached eggs at breakfast were excellent (though the chef needs to learn not to drip water over the serving plate or to put wet eggs on toast as it just goes soggy.)
The staff learn quickly but need training. eg. I needed to ask for salt and pepper at breakfast on day 1, but they subsequently always brought it. It feels as if the management has just taken available guys, given them a uniform and assumed they know what to do in a pricey bed and breakfast venue.
This place has great potential, but at >$80 a night for 1 person, I'd expect much better service and food. They're offering the sort of poor quality I've had in $20 rooms here in Sri Lanka. The staff need to be trained as they're nice guys but clueless as to the ways of service in a pricey hotel. The management seems to assume they can put a sweet guy in a uniform and he'll know what to do, which is crazy, especially when they don't speak much English and many guests do.
Breakfast is low-quality products (eg. synthetic, boxed juice and cheap jam). Even the very basic hotels I've stayed in in Sri Lanka have provided fresh juice. The toast here is barely-cooked bread unless you send it back and ask them to toast it.
The TV, which has English-speaking channels, is in an inaccessible place beside the baggage rack so you can't watch it comfortably at all. Who on earth dreamt up that layout?! Why don't they put it on an extendable, wall-mounted rack so it would be functional?
The wifi works most of the time but is often slow so I had to hotspot to my phone to get anything done on my laptop.
The staff need to speed up. They claimed at one stage they couldn't do something as they were short-staffed. Many places this size and with so few customers are run efficiently by a husband and wife team, so this place has vast numbers by comparison. They need training and to watch the speed with which staff in busy venues work.
