Molto carino

Struttura in perfetto stile inglese tipico della località di Nuwara Eliya. Il personale è molto disponibile, cordiale e professionale. Appena siamo arrivati ci hanno accolto con un ottimo caffè, hanno un servizio caffetteria davvero ottimo. I prodotti sono tutti provenienti da produttori locali e sono anche acquistabili ( noi abbiamo comprato dell’ottimo caffè). La colazione ottima è alla carta e va ordinata il giorno prima. Idem per la cena entro le 17 altrimenti non è possibile farla in hotel. La struttura è pulita la camera grande, con doccia calda e asciugacapelli. La cosa carina è che c’era a disposizione una sala dedicata a yoga e/o mindfulness con una bella vista. A 5 min a piedi dal centro.

Cómodo y muy agradables

Bonito edificio, trabajadores muy amables y camas cómodas. La ducha caliente se agradeció dado que hacía bastante en frío en comparación con el resto del viaje.

Comparado con los precios de alojamientos en Sri Lanka un poco caro… pero en Nuwara Eliya vimos precios más elevados. No era cosa del hotel.

Fantastisk gæstfrihed

Virkeligt søde værter, som gjorde alt for at give os det bedste ophold; arrangerede taxier, rådgav om ture, smurte madpakker og sang fødselsdagssang :-) Jeg elsker, at de prøver at minimere plastik ved at rense vandet og bruge avispapir i skraldespandene og arbejder for at mindske madspild. Der er alle faciliteter, inkl. yogarum, fælles opholdsområder, dygtig kok og gåafstand til byen, til at have et fantastisk ophold.

Der ligger et støjende Tivoli i nærheden, men det arbejder de på at få skruet ned for.

Un excellent choix de séjour sur Nuwara Eliya

Un super accueil en arrivant de la part de l'équipe. Nous sommes arrivés un peu en avance, tout a été fait pour que nous patientions dans les meilleurs conditions avec un thé qui plus est. Lits confortables, même celui de notre bébé. Sanitaires très propres. Grande terrasse avec le logement. La cuisine et le petit-déjeuner proposés sur place valent le coup. Bref de passage sur nuwara elya c'est un choix sûr pour se loger

Perfect spot in Nuwara Eliya

It’s super nice and well kept. Jerard, the manager, will welcome you and make you feel at home. The room is very comfortable with all the necessary things. On the top floor they have a yoga room with a beautiful view of the city. The cafe has everything you need for breakfast or afternoon tea and we also had dinner which was exceptional. PS they can arrange tuk tuk tours to the most beautiful tea factory & surroundings. Thank you

Lovely stopover as part of long train journey

Good location. Food good. Staff were excellent. Special thanks to Jerad. When I arrived I was suffering from knee pain and his kindness and Ayurvedic knowledge helped me greatly 😊. A very special person.

Whist the property might benefit from some refurbishment, this is more than made up for by the attentive and kind staff.

Niedliches und sauberes Hotel ,mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Es war ein schönes kleines Hotel , das eine gute Lage hat. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und bekamen kostenlosen Tee oder Kaffee angeboten und konnten erstmal gemütlich ankommen. Im Anschluss wurde dann alles weitere für den Aufenthalt geklärt. Die Zimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet und unser Zimmer war auch nach europäischen Standards super sauber. Das Wasser ist gechlort und kann ohne bedenken auch zum Zähneputzen benutzt werden. Zudem legt das Hotel wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und Sicherheit. Für die Gäste liegt auch ein kleiner Ordner im Forum bereit mit Informationen zum Moskito Schutz etc. Sowie einigen Informationen zum Hotel und den möglichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zudem ist es auch möglich die Kleidung im Hotel waschen zu lassen. Zudem verfügt das Hotel über eine gute Fahrerunterkunft! Wir hatten aufgrund unserer Rundreise nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt in dem Hotel , wären aber gerne länger geblieben , da wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Danke an das Service Team von Suriya Guest! Wir kommen gerne wieder !

Das Hotel könnte von außen ein bisschen frische Farbe gebrauchen.

Nocuj i nie zastanawiaj się

Blisko do centrum Nuwara Eliyii, do jeziorka Gregorego i parku. Wspaniali Hości. W obiekcie sala do Jogi i miejsce do czillu ze znajomymi. Polecam wziąć tam posiłek, bo w mieście nie zjedliśmy nic dobrego. Jest też możliwość zlecenia prania jako usługi

Mooie ruime kamer en badkamer. Hele vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Ligging op loopafstand van het meer. Ontbijt was ook lekker. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Estancia genial. La habitación espaciosa y limpia. El personal super amable nos ayudaron en todo y el desayuno muy bueno. Un poco apartado del pueblo pero bastante cerca.

Zeker een aanrader

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Ze helpen je waar ze kunnen en doen dit altijd met een glimlach. We hebben hier ook een kookles gedaan ( wat zeker een aanrader is om te doen) en we hebben hierbij veel geleerd. De locatie is gunstig, uit de drukte van het centrum en dicht bij het meer.

We hoorden snachts in onze kamer een vervelend getik. Gelukkig hadden wij oordopjes mee en daardoor hier weinig last van gehad

Very large period guesthouse near the racecourse

We were the only ones staying in the property so there was also room for our driver, but it did make the place feel empty. The rooms were fine with a heater rather than air con and thicker bedding as the temperature in Nuwara Eliya can drop significantly. Cooler than most of Sri Lanka. We didn't have dinner there but chose to eat out. The breakfast was passable with fruit, bread and jam and an omelette. Good value for money for a one night stop over on our way to Ella.

It lacked atmosphere and felt like it had seen better days. It was rather windy during the night and we were disturbed by the sound of rattling tin roofs

Exceptional

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing guest house with a group of nine, including four children, and I cannot recommend it enough, especially for families. The staff members were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with anything we needed.

Definitely value for money!

It was a wonderful stay.Owner was so nice and helpful in every aspect.Kids were so tired at one point that we left them to rest in the hotel and informed the owner, and he was happy to keep an eye on them.It felt like home away from home!

The only thing was laundry service, though it showed in the website it has laundry service but owner informed that it was closed down where they use to give laundry so we have find laundry service on our own since we did not have time to wait in the hotel for owner to find one.Also food,we tried ordering from menu when we reach there around 7pm(in menu timing showed 5pm to 10pm)but were told that we can order only one thing.But I was still very very happy with the hotel because of the nice person(owner) who helped us and informed us for everything thing and also prepared breakfast early morning to take to Hoton Plain park.

But due unavoidable reason ,it was a funeral due I left from the place one day before means I supposed to stay 2 nights but I have staied just one night ,due my own convenience, that was not their fault ok, ther services and place was superb also, pls accepted I have stayed there just one night and cost from your side shoud be from 1 night ok, it was my own decision due my own concern not their services ok. - The hosts were really nice and helpfull - Big and clean rooms - Good breakfast, much options - Really nice cooking class, would definitely recommend it! - They have a nice yoga/meditation room. - It's close to the lake so that's nice

- They just reopend (we were the first foreign guests) so when we were there they were still figuring things out. However this was not a problem for us, as they always had a good solution to our questions. - When we were there it could be at bit noisy in the evening due to music, but with earplugs it was not a problem

Great, comfortable stay in beautiful Nuwara Eliya

The staff was very friendly and cooked up a wonderful meal for my friend who was hungry. We ate at another restaurant in town before that but actually wish we just ate at the guest house from the start since the food was way better. Breakfast was great!The blankets in our room were nice and warm and much needed for the cold weather. We had a great, comfortable stay at Suriya :)
