Una vista spettacolare!

Appartamento molto ampio e dotato di ogni comfort... Purtroppo essendoci fermati solo una notte non abbiamo potuto sfruttarlo nella sua totalità. A nostro parere perfetto anche per un piccolo gruppo di amici. Pulizia eccellente Host gentile e disponibile! Check-in "online" molto apprezzato Non dimentichiamoci della posizione strepitosa! Affaccio diretto sui sassi di Matera Nel piccolo cortile (se così si può definire) all'esterno è presente un tavolino dove è possibile godersi una colazione/aperitivo con affaccio diretto sulla meravigliosa Matera.

Clean, large, great location, and unique cave house experience!

Clean, large, great location in the centro storico. Nice view and unique cave house experience.

We knew it lacked a full kitchen, which would be nice. The kitchenette area was adequate, but probably not ideal for those who want to cook during an extended stay (hot plate, small refrigerator). As expected for a cave home, the bedroom that is deep down inside the home lacks a wifi and cellular signal. Not an issue for us (we liked how dark and quiet it was), but could be an issue for those who need to stay connected (the front rooms of the home had wifi).

Unforgettable stay in the heart of the Sassi.

Incredible view and perfect location. Thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable, including juice, milk, coffee, tea and a small assortment of rolls. Easy arrival and departure and the host was always available. Was accessible to the main piazza, so you don't have to travel too far with heavy bags. We loved the experience.

A musty odor was present throughout our stay. The home was spotless and comfortable, but the smell at times detracted from the overall stay. No complaints, but a simple observation if you are sensitive.

Great stay in a perfection location right in between new and old Matera!

The location of the apartment was perfect as it was so easily accessible from the main piazza and was near to one of the many sets of stairs leading into the historic Matera Sassi. The rooms were large, clean and provided an authentic cave house experience.

The beds were too soft for our liking but we may just be used to slightly firmer ones.

Excellent. A unique place to stay, and the accommodation is located in the heart of the old town. It was so hot on the day I arrived but the accommodation was really cool inside, and it is big and spacious inside, it is surprising. The host was waiting at the accommodation when I arrived so I did not have to wait. She was very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. The accommodation I stayed in was open-plan, so from the front door you walk in through the living room to the kitchen and then the bathroom. Everything was comfortable, and all facilities were modern and in excellent condition and functioned. There was complementary tea, coffee, water and juice, which I thought was kind. At night it was quiet around the property, even though there were restaurants nearby. The bed was very comfortable, I slept like a log : )

Dear lady, she accompanied us personally to the place of accommodation, it is a few steps from the center. We were very satisfied with the accommodation, large comfortable bed, clean, everything matched the photos. It was quiet at night! Perfect location. The atmosphere of the rock city immediately enchanted you, walking walks, the best ice cream, food! THE MAGIC OF THE CHURCH! I highly recommend :)

Once in a lifetime experience!!!

Great location and amazing authentic interior which was also very cozy and comfortable! Every detail is made with such a taste! The host is so kind and friendly and he told us a lot about the history of the place and the city itself! Will recommend it to my friends!!!

The hostes was very helful and the apartment was in perfect location, with very nice view of the old city. Please note that if you need a parking place nearby you have to reserve it before your arrival.

Great.

Location in the city center. Friendly hoste. Interesting apartment in the cave.

Beds could be more comfortabel (they are still okay, nothing special). Little kitchen (if you need it). The ceiling is peeling. In one of the bedroom was without fresh air but you need to accept that if you want to sleep in the cave.
