The best shower in Iceland! The hot tub is HOT and works amazing! The heated floors incredible. Has a washer and then you use a clothes drying rack. Worked well.
Get rid of the CROW!!! It’s scary! The unit we were in there was not an ocean view as described because the trees have grown and the angle of the unit. The marketing photos for this place are good and it seemed better in the photos than in real life. The beer and wine they sell is outrageous in prices. Just go to the liquor store a few miles away and stock up your fridge. This place is incredibly small and you don’t have much room to live in!

Big, view, hydronic in floor heating, private hot tub, wonderful shower (great water pressure), we would stay there again.
Surprisingly there is not a pantry in the kitchen so we didn’t have any place to put our food and kept it in boxes on the floor. The two bedrooms share the one bathroom which is downstairs. The nicer by far of the two bedrooms is upstairs.

Amazing views of Akureyri. The cottage was perfect size. Great spa to relax in.
No coffee maker and pillows were too thin. Smelled like somebody cooked fish in it the night before we got there.

The apartment is well equipped.
There is no furniture for putting the clothes and other personal stuff away. You need to keep everything in your suitcase.

quiet location, just as described, very comfortable and warm, nice views overlooking the runway and town, the shower was great

Loved the location. Very close to forest Lagoon and easy enough to find. Few minutes drive to centre of Akureyri. Would recommend to have a car if staying here. Hot tub was easy to use and a lovely addition.
The bedroom was very cosy with a beautiful view to wake up to. Right outside the apartment was a nice view of the fjord and the hills surrounding Akureyri.
Perfect for a couple stay. I know that Viking Cottages also have a bigger premises for larger groups.

1. Very beautiful house
2. Hot tube was great
3. House decoration was exceptional
4. Extra facilities (washing machine, shampoo etc)
Room was organized to accommodate two people (although we were 3). There were 2 chairs for the table. There was an extra bed (portable) in the laundry room, which wasn’t prepared. I moved it and prepare the linen.

We saw the first Northern lights here.
Missleading Pictures, BBQ and outdoor furniture laying behind house not usable, rooms so small that bed can only be used after moving furniture out, hottub dirty not usable and no privacy as on road and at least 8 neighbors watching you, washer behind pile of cleaning stuff, no oven oposit to picture, no dishwasher oposit to rules in house. Pictures are not from property or totally missleading and old.

We booked one of the big cottages and we were surprised with every aspect of it. While it took us a while to find, the location was beautiful, the cottage was really nice, new and clean, and the overall space was incredible.
The cottage also included everything we might need for our stay, including a hair dryer, shower ammenities, every ammenity in the kitchen to be able to cook, etc. The host even left a Netflix account so we could watch something if we wanted.
The cottage and all its ammenities were really comfortable and the views were incredible.
If we go back to Akureyri we will definitely repeat the experience, because we couldn't be happier.

really stylish rooms with gorgeous views. excellent kitchen facilities and a hot tub
some lights were faulty and made the place dark. upon calling the owner, was advised to switch out the lightbulbs ourselves because it was faster. managed to exchange one light bulb, but that meant giving up one light elsewhere

the apartment was beautifully done with attentions to detail for both aesthetic and functionality.

extra touches of class, such as stainless steal cookware, good knives, very clean
steep ladder to loft. thought I was getting a spectacular view of sea and mountains. our cabin 15c had mainly mountain view, except in the loft. I thought I paid extra for a awesome view. other cottages did get the view. also No instructions on washer/dryer. finally found the model #, googled the Manual. staff did not know either!

The property has a wonderful view into the valley.
The property that I choose was not the property that we reserved online according to our host. We arrived expecting to stay in a property advertised by the photographs - these are 15 A, B, C. We actually booked property 16 (photographs of 15 A, B and C are reflected on the website) - 16 is the property next door and does not look anything like the property advertised. Please take care when booking. Property 16 needs a bit of updating.

Good pre-arrival information. Very modern and warm cottage. Hot tub really great and lovely views of the valley - very cosy when it snowed. Really needed a second toilet upstairs esp if used by 4 adults - plenty of space to add one.
Upstairs bedroom really only suitable for children - no wardrobe and walls bare - not even a shelf to put personal things. More or less have to live out of your suitcase on the floor. Conditioner provided in shower, but was virtually empty and no shampoo or shower gel - we had out own but just seemed odd to leave an empty bottle of conditioner? Expresso maker only good for two cups - needs a filter coffee maker or a cafetiere.
