The hut is super cozy and well equipped with everything that is needed. For 2 it has a perfect size and we really enjoyed staying there. It is quite new and the style is quite modern and appealing.
It is a bit far off from everything, but for us this was perfect to relax and just enjoy the landscape around us.
Nothing to complain about. Would definitely come back to this hut!

We loved the view, the cleanness, the cozy comfort, the facilities, the exceptional attention to details. The car access (directly to the porch). The farm. The exceptional collection of books, maps and local tips.
We reserved two of the three cute 25m cottages for two days, and I wish we could stay there a week.
The three new modern cottages are located in the farm with horses roaming by, about 200m from the old farm house, in a scenic, serene quite and beautiful setting and views.
Each of the cottages has its own direct view of the arctic sea, a porch with chairs and table and attached parking place that was very useful during in and out in the rainy days. The cottages have huge comfy beds (one had king size, the other two twins), and a surprising large sofa (that can probably turned also into large bed). The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils for five, dish washer and every tool needed for cooking which we did use extensively. The shower is excellent, very new and clean, with great flow of hot water. There are many tips in the guest book, and many books and maps for local travel. Can be a great location for base for traveling the north east peninsula. There is a fuel station nearby (2km) with great restaurant/store open until late and a almost everything you might need for shopping (including vegetables\fruits, camping gear, food etc). There is great road access to both the east and west banks of river canyon that contain the beautiful Dettifoss, Selfoss and Hfragilsfoss falls.
Nothing. Its a remote location in the north, but relatively close to Dettifoss falls. You need to love this kind of locations.

Very quiet location with great views. Nice cottage with functional lay-out: we had everything we needed for a few days.
Wonderful hikes close to the property.
It’s a very windy location, so we weren’t able to enjoy the outside sitting facilities.

The view from the room is magnificent. Clean and new cabin.
The google map address brings me to other property.

Cosy little cottage on the edge of a beautiful canyon. Furnishings and design were all modern and the place has been decorated with a lot of care and thought. The bed is firm and comfy, there are extra blankets, a good sized table and a modern bathroom. The host left a lot of helpful information about the cottage, as well as hiking maps to local nature outings.
There’s hardly anything not to like. Only things which might be good to be aware of is the lack of a freezer in the fridge. There’s no oven (but a good stove). The door is a little tricky to pull properly shut and lock.

Absolutely outstanding - the cabin itself, the luxury equipment, the close surrounding providing magnificent views any time of the day (we visited in the summer thus we had never ending days...) Also proximity to Asbyrgi NP, Detiffoss and Mývatn was perfect. Thank you so much, Augusta et all!

Fantastic location with lovely views thanks to full height glazing. Very private. Modern and clean. Good cooking facilities including an oven and a coffee machine.
Lack of space to hang anything apart from hooks. A suitcase stand would have been very helpful as nowhere to put cases.

The kitchen was nice with pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster, hot water maker
No service any days, lack of communication of who to contact if there are issues, could use more basic amenities for kitchen such as cream for coffee, utensils are not practical - cheap plastic utensils.

Excellent place. The house is exactly like in pictures and is equipped with everything you need.
Check in and check out very easy.
The house is a little narrow for 2 adults and 2 children.

It is located in a remote place, so you truly feel and hear the silence. Still, it is easy to get to, and the apartment has everything you need for a wonderful stay.
We enjoyed everything!

Absolutely lovely cottages with super nice interior, extremely comfortable beds, high quality linen and a very well equipped kitchen. Amazing view, you are totally alone in the middle of nowhere and can enjoy absolute solitude. The glass front is very nice. This was by far the best stay during our whole trip! Definitely go there!

25m2 cottage with all you need for self-catering. Very clean and very well thought out and equipped. Privacy - there are three cottages, but far enough apart from each other you don't get disturbed. Given the location, it was excellent value for money.
The cottage probably makes the maximum from it's size, but is a little bit on the small side (e.g. you only get a night table on one side of the bed). It works well for two, but I wouldn't want to stay being more people than that.

Fabulous! Clean, comfortable and beautiful cottage. Close to hiking trails in Jökulsár canyon.

Véry modern fixtures and fittings gave a
Luxurous feeling. Fantastic views too
Nothing, only possible downside is not having an oven means it is great for a 2 or 3 day stay,, but would want an oven for a longer stay.
