Incredible location, quality accommodation and the loveliest staff.

Fantastic location, between Fira/Thera and Imerovigli - 5 mins walk to each. Incredible uninterrupted views across the caldera and to watch the sunset. Quality throughout in every area. The staff were wonderful, so welcoming, so friendly. Checking often enough if you need anything, but not too much so as to give you space if you’re staying around the hotel in the day. Each day in the afternoon, we were brought little ‘gifts’ including ice creams and even Greek Grappa one day.

Our suite (Belvedere) was (in our opinion) the best suite. Massive terrace to have breakfast on and sunbath on looking out uninterrupted across the caldera. There is even a sofa area to admire the view from. Had our own jacuzzi, yet the main pool was 10 seconds away on the level below. Sunsets were amazing from the terrace.

One of the best experiences we've ever had!!

We travel a lot and have pretty high standards for hotels. The Vasilicos blew us away! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Sandy met us at the car and showed us around while the guys took care of our luggage. She even had some white wine for us (which is amazing!) Throughout the entire week they were there to help with anything no matter how big or small. For example, our driver was late (we had a scheduled tour) so Sandy immediately got on the phone and took care of it. We stayed in the Belvedere suite and the views were amazing, definitely worth the price. The location was perfect and only a 10 min walk to Fira (our favorite city on the island). I highly suggest having dinner at the hotel at least one or more nights. The lamb was the best we ever had (and I don't normally eat lamb!) This chef is outstanding! I don't think people realize that most of the staff on the island works 7 days a week during their 7-month season. We stayed towards the end of the season, and they were still so nice and gracious!!! I cannot wait to stay here again! 10 out of 10!!!

Amazing.

I have come to this island many times. This property is the best. The staff is wonderful and attended to all our needs. They went above my expectations to make sure that all of our needs were attended for. The dinner was fantastic and served on our private veranda. Absolutely unforgettable!! Thank you so much.

A dreamy romantic paradise ❤️

Our stay at the Vasilicos was so romantic and wonderful. The staff was friendly and professional while remaining approachable. It was our honeymoon and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better stay. Our only wish was to stay longer!!

We drink A LOT of water and so we found it inconvenient to not be able to drink tap water—constantly asking for more water or buying bottles.

Private, peaceful and with amazing caldera views both at sunrise and sunset.

We had an amazing time at the Vasilicos. We were very well looked after by the staff - Sandy, Kyriakos, Chris and the rest of the team - who were helpful in organising katamaran tours and arranging a wonderful private dinner on our terrace. It was a perfect honeymoon.

The most beautiful hotel, location and amazing staff

Breathtaking and uninterrupted views over the sea which led to amazing sunset. Room had private terrace where you could sit and have breakfast or drinks while sun was setting which was very special. Staff were lovely and on hand to help.

I had the most enjoyable time and I got exactly why I came to Santorini and to the Vasilicos.

I am lucky because I had the pleasure of staying in 2 suites,Efta and Belvedere and actually I liked Efta better as it was super quiet and secluded much more than Belvedere which is a truly superior suite. Breakfast was a feast and I really appreciated how the chef has made a special sandwich to me to replace the sweet pastries as I could not eat those. Everyone was very attentive always but also kept distance and left it up to you if you wanted to socialize and talk more,for me I wanted tranquility which I got.so that was also great.

There is nothing I disliked about Vasilicos.

Best hotel in Santorini, absolutely must stay here!

Wow. If you don’t stay at the Vasilicos when you come to Santorini, you’re absolutely crazy. We had one of the most amazing hotel experiences of our lives. It’s a small hotel—only seven rooms—which means that by the end of your stay, you really feel like family to the staff. The environment is extraordinary: I think the view and location of The Vasilicos was the best on the entire island. Stunning sunsets directly from your room, with none of the crowds. There are adorable towns within five minutes walking on either side of the hotel. We traveled all over the island, checking out towns and beaches, and even peeking into other hotels, and were amazed at how lucky we got in choosing The Vasilicos. Because we weren’t sure how long we’d stay in Santorini, we ended up staying in three of the seven rooms on the property, each at different price points, and each was beautiful and stunning and unique in their own way (our favorite room though was Efta, where you're sort of tucked away and have some more privacy and that stunning view...). And what’s amazing about the design and layout of the hotel is that you’re in true luxury and comfort, but you actually feel like you’re in Greece! It’s not one of those new modern monstrosities that you often find on the islands now. The Vasilicos is luxury that actually feels authentic and true to where you are. After we saw most of the island, we decided that our favorite time was actually spent at the hotel, overlooking the stunning Caldera view. And we truly felt like family there: even before we arrived in Greece, Konstantina at reception made us feel so well taken care of, organizing everything. No detail was left unattended by her. As soon as we arrived, Kyryiakos and George and Thomas were immediately attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, checking in on us regularly. The housekeepers Princess and Cyril were absolute angels, likewise checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

It was perfect, like something straight out of a dream.

Unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime location and hotel; super lovely, helpful staff. Totally worth the 8 hours of research I did to ultimately decide on this hotel; easily one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I think a lot of people say this, but after walking around a lot of Santorini, I’m 1000% convinced Vasilicos is the absolute best place you can stay. Thank you Vasilicos team for everything!

Indulgent luxurious stay !

The staff were so kind and accommodating , the views out from every suite were spectacular. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the vaslikos suite during our stay which was pure luxury. Everyday the breakfasts were exceptional and they catered to my wife's gluten intolerance to ensure she didn't miss out. Highly recommended!!
