The lakeside private beach
This accommodation was bad in several ways.
The air conditioning wasn't working from the day before but we were given no warning in spite of the extreme temperatures. A fan was provided which was hopelessly inadequate and the host charged €10 for its use after saying there was no charge for it. The room itself is airless with only one small window for ventilation.
The room was described as having a double and single bed. It didn't. It had a folding bed which when opened made the room unusable because of the space it occupied.
The "garden" referred to is a patch of concrete with an old table and chairs and a washing machine. Not exactly the paradise you might imagine.
The shower had no curtain so it wasn't possible to use it without the floor becoming wet and slippery.
The bath drain was partially blocked and drained very slowly.
The host's dog barking woke us up very early (6.30 am) each morning.
After arriving from a stressful drive on motorcycles in 40 degree heat, we were hassled for payment before we'd even got through the door.
The host offered bicycles but when we asked they were booked. We asked to be notified when they were next available but heard nothing further.
We've travelled through 8 countries in the last 4 weeks including the Balkans and this was the poorest accommodation we'd encountered with the most indifferent host.

Cute and nice area, safe with parking.
Busy road, only good with a car. Wifi not reliable.

Everything about the house. Comfy beds and bike friendly! Great villa.
The fact that we needed to pay extra for heating which was indeed listed in the description, but was really odd.

The booking as well as payment was very easy, the apartment was very spacious and had everything one could need for cooking etc.
Everything was very clean and the bathroom was probably the best we got to use in all of Italy.
The Internet kept disconnecting, which was literally the only minor "bad" thing.

Access to private lake beach.
Accommodation smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke. Overly hot with no mosquito nets so couldn't open windows. Bath matt not cleaned underneath.

The property and value for money was good. The owner speaks only Italian but google translation always helps :) and she was prompt in answering messages in Italian language though :)
The apartment was well-equipped, clean and very cozy!
The location could be better because it is just next to the road, and when we went to "the beach" we needed to look carefully for the cars.. The beach was full of ants :)

it is fully furnished with all the utilities; large and secure parking
the entrance is very dangerous; it is very noisy and in the morning the light enters and wakes up; not clean at all; good if you are in a hurry and need a place to stay one night; the price is quite correct

Very clean and quiet
Entrance in property is quite dangerous. It’s on main road in a corner and cars go fast..
Attendant must be careful on turning in/out

Super cozy little place with nice decor and large balcony outside, secure off road parking and central to both towns. Great Value!
The road by the place is very narrow, so you must be alert when walking, easier to come and go by car I think, which is what I did mostly... Lots of blackberry bushes along the road and paths though make the risk worthwhile!

The interier was beautiful. Nicely built.
The surroundings wasnt nice at all. It was just right next to a very busy and noisy road. Even late at night and early in the morning. So no good sleep. The patio was facing the road. There were angry dogs closed inside the yard, who barked very unpleasantly every time we went out. The description talks about private beach but there was no access to the beach from the cottage at all. We had to use car. WIFI did not work at all.

Well equipped, close to town
1. They would not take my credit card, insisted on cash only. 2. When we arrived it was very hot. We asked for the controller for the air conditioner and was told there would be a 10 euro per day charge for air. Why not just raise the rate to cover air? I travel a lot all over the world three to four months a year and have never had to pay extra for air. 3. We had no hot water the first night so we took cold showers. 4. We were unable to talk to the owner, the local attendant did his best but spoke no English. 5. The Internet did not work the first day, it was finally fixed on day 2. Overall the property did not meet the standards for how it was rated on Bookings.
