Everything as expected and more. Nothing to report negatively.
Nothing.

Lovely house, great location and well equipped. The kitchen is big and lots of amenities for cooking in. We appreciated the good communication with the host. Dornoch is lovely with lots of eateries and the beach is gorgeous.
One slight improvement could be a slightly bigger bed in one of the double bedrooms as the double beds are not a true double bed. But beds were comfortable.
4.5
Very comfortable, high standard of furnishings, very central
Minor details: assortment of knives in kitchen but only five forks and five spoons; bathrooms had only one towel hook each; blind in main bedroom was broken; six clocks on upper floor, not one telling the right time

Location was a perfect spot for all amentities in the area and the townhouse was clean and tidy
From a woman's preference, a full length mirror would have been good
Would like to note that there was 2 chipped glasses in the kitchen that we put to one side
The scart lead behind the tv is broken so unfortunately we could not watch a DVD which was disappointing
The Welcome Information Booklet could do with some updating to include instructions on appliances and the WIFI code was missing

On booking the property we initially thought the location was perfect as we were visiting Dornoch for the Hogmanay street party which took place in the town square which was directly outside the property. However, the location also turned out to be the property’s downfall too as it was literally next door to a pub (the Coach House) who’s clientele were continually shouting and swearing in the street throughout the 3 nights of our stay, and on the first night a fight actually broke out too! On speaking to a local it seems this may be a regular occurrence and it’s a pub to avoid!
Despite the lounge area being on the top floor of the property we could hear almost everything from the street below throughout the days and into the early hours and especially from the pub next door. We couldn’t make use of the games room as it was freezing cold, it is located in what was an integrated garage but is not heated making it unusable in winter. The electric heating wasn’t the best and some radiators even had the temperature controls removed or broken off through wear and tear and other than our bedroom on the middle floor we found the house wasn’t very warm at all at any time of day, the draughty windows in the lounge didn’t help either. The clientele from the pub next door would congregate directly outside the property when going outside for a smoke, each morning we had to remove drinks from the entrance to the property and from the outside window ledge of the street level bedroom on the ground floor, I’d go as far as to suggest the ground floor bedroom would be unusable before 1am or whenever the pub closes.

Views from living room. Games room was a bonus.
Lack of a shower in the main bathroom was at times a slight inconvenience.

wonderful location in the centre of Dornoch and close to our family who live there.
very well equipped and comfortably furnished.
extremely clean.
we had one unfortunate evening due to the proximity of a pub - very loud shouting and fighting - was pretty terrifying.
however we did not let that distract from the wonderful time we had over the Christmas period.

This is a well furnished and decorated appartment. The design and color schemes are well thought through. The appliances and furnishings are of good quality. The cleaning standard was high.
The location can be sproadically noisey due to a pub next door. On the Wednesday of our stay the staff and owner came out the pub between 2200 and 0030 drinking, smoking and loudly talking at the end of their shifts. The Tuesday and Thursday of our stay the area the area was very quiet. I never smelt any smoke coming from the pub.

Great Location , well presented property

Great central location - with pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops all within 5 mins walk. The decor and furnishings were all excellent and the sofa was of the most comfortable we’ve ever sat on.
There was a pub right next door and the smokers came outside right beside the house windows and there was noise till about midnight every night. Could only be reduced by closing all the windows - which is maybe ok in cold weather. This is a real shame as the property otherwise was great.

Need more towels.

Spacious, really comfortable, great facilities. Games room was a big hit!!
Only slight negative was the noise on the Friday night as the pub is right next door.

We loved our stay! A pool table would have been even better for the kids!
Fresh and clean, near everything! Will definitely be back!

The property was really lovely with everything that you could need for sleeping and cooking. The location is good for sightseeing and beach. The only issue would be the stairs, if you are not that able and the noise on a number of evenings from the Road and people outside. It is next to a Pun/restaurant.

Central location. Clean. Open plan. Walking distance to beach.
Really noisy on Friday and Saturday nights due to location next to pub. Kept us awake till early hours after closing.
En-suite shower off 1st floor double room did not work. Always boiling hot so couldn’t use it.
Dinner table unsteady.
