Beautiful apartment in a great location in the old town. Host was wonderful - very responsive and helpful.
We were able to check-in early which was great as we arrived in Split in the morning, so this was wonderful. Unfortunately, our kids got sick during our stay but the host was so helpful and delivered a new pillow and even dropped off some little chocolate treats which was so kind! Appreciate it so much!
Bars downstairs are noisy till about 12pm-1am.
Didn't keep the kids up but adults struggled to get to sleep.

It was beautiful and the location in the old town was excellent

Location is very close to the Golden Gate and is super convenient (once you find it!). The apartment was spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. The washing machine was an added bonus although it was a challenge finding enough space to hang out the clothes to dry properly.
it was a bit of a challenge to find the entrance to the apartment even with the photos that were provided. The staircase is a tad narrow and difficult to navigate if you have a lot of luggage like we did!

Great location within city walls, efficient communication before and during stay by WhatsApp. I would stay here again

Location. Nicely renovated 2 bed apartment. Everything expected was there, and others that were a pleasant surprise- washing machine, iron, ironing board.
Only getting the luggage up the stairs! So very grateful for the help!

Position was perfect. I was met by a local resident at the airport so glad I didn't have to find my own way to the accomodation as lots of small winding laneways and taxis can't enter the old town. Easy to find your way around once there - very hard to get lost! Two flights of stairs so be aware if you have mobility issues. The travel agency around the corner held the keys. Lots of fabulous restaurants and we were recommended to a couple which didn't fail to impress!

great location and lots of space.
loud bar below apartment and noisy until midnight.

The apartment was full of character with exposed old stone walls, and in a great location, but there could have been a few more comfortable touches. We visited in rainy April and we found that one thin quilt on each bed was not enough, we were cold at night and would have liked extra blankets. A shower mat would be good. The apartment does have wall heaters, which worked fine to warm up the air, and we didn't need to try the aircon. We didn't use the sofa bed but it would probably be fine for a couple of nights. There is no double glazing so you will hear the sounds of the old town - people having fun in the bars and restaurants at night and the cathedral/church bells from early in the morning. We were shown in by a very helpful person who gave us a map and told us tips on where to visit.

Great location for exploring the old city. Cute apartment, very clean, washing machine was a nice bonus.
There is a restaurant/bar in the courtyard below, so it can be a bit loud at night.

Beautiful apartment in fantastic central location. Historic building but tastefully renovated and modernised. Comfortable beds and sofa, plenty of hot water, very close to lots of tourist attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. We were 5 people and it felt perfectly spacious. Very helpful host on arrival with local information and tips.
Be aware that due to the location there will be a certain amount of noise at night as there are so many bars/restaurants close by.
Not a problem for us, but worth to note there is no elevator so there are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment.

located right in the old town; large modern apartment with all the equipment you need. includes a washing machine. unlike all the other apartments I stayed in, it had coffee & decent cooking equipment. tv & lounge area is comfortable, 2 nice bedrooms & good sized shower. The hum of the bars didn’t bother us as it wasn’t too loud.
twin bedroom had shutters so was blacked out. the main room was light in the morning. the stairs weren’t a problem as it’s just 3 flights. (we stayed over 100 steps high in Dubrovnik)
Apple maps takes you to a street but there’s nothing with the apartment name. all the other apartments we stayed in, sent pictures so we knew which door to find. if you go, look for the door at the rear left of the bar. you’ll need to navigate through the tables to the back of a little square. then go up 3 flights & the apartment name is on the door.
difficult to find the doorway & no instructions provided.
we arranged to meet at 11.40 as we got the early ferry - but we spent 50 mins waiting on the stairs in the heat. i have no phone in Europe so couldn’t call. eventually a kind stranger called the owner for me & he came within 10 mins. frustrating as we only had 1 day in split so wasted too much time checking in.

Location was great.
Reasonable parking was a couple blocks away. Our first attempt was next door in the mall parking and extremely pricey. Not a big con but would have been nice to know.

Very convenient location to all the sights, restaurants and shopping area in the Old Town. Beautiful apartment with all the basic necessities.
Extremely noisy at night into the early hours of the next morning, as there are bars and restaurants below. Stairs up to the apartment are narrow and difficult if you have large suitcases. The fridge doesn't have a freezer section, so not practical for self catering other than on a very basic basis.

We liked the location, cleanness
No basic necessities, very noisy because no good insulation and very lively area.

The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning worked very well. It was nice for sleeping after our long hot days. The shower is really nice. The location is fantastic!
There are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment. There was someone there to help us get our luggage up the steps when we arrived. There was also someone there to help us get our luggage down at the end of our stay. This was extremely helpful!

The owner is absolutely wonderful. She worked with us when we had a COVID scare prior to travel and was so understanding. Then she set us up with a friend who owned a tour company to get to Krka National Park, a winery, a falconry, and Trogir! The apartment is right in the middle of Diocletian's Palace and easy to walk to everything. The apartment itself is beautiful and charming, with plenty of space for our family of 4.
If you have younger kids, just be aware that it is flanked by 2 restaurants that stay busy and noisy until early in the morning.

Great place in the very heart of Diocletian's palace in Split. Absolutely marvelous.

The location is very very good, is just in the center of the city, like very near from everything, beside two bars, so very handy if you need anything, not far from market, the living room is even better than looks in the photos, the room a good too
the entrance is beside some bins, but it does not smell bad, we got the apartment in the last floor, so we have to take the stairs all the time, but not a big problem because we are all fit, but if you don't like stairs is something to keep in mind

Everything about this place was great. We were picked up at the airport bu the nicest person who told us all about where we were staying and then his brother told us everything we needed to know about the area. Apartment is right in the middle of everything and so cozy!
Nothing. It was all great.
10.0 / 10.0
Location in the centre of everything, size, quality furnishings, fittings and white goods.
Noisy at nighttime due to location in cafe/bar district but we got used to it and can use ear plugs if necessary. For many this would probably be a plus. Compensated by the sound of nuns up the lane singing mass in the morning.

Amazing location, not just "near" Diocletian's Palace but right inside it (we'd underestimated just how enormous the palace is, it's basically the whole old town!)
The rooms were fantastic, beautifully presented and everything worked well from shower, wifi, aircon, washing machine, and kettle.
Really great intro to the flat by our host, including a map of the area which was very helpful. Clearly an experienced host and well furnished apartment.
Would have been a nice touch to have someone meet at the ferry and walk to the rooms, or at least have slightly clearer check in instructions as it did feel a bit strange arriving at the bottom of the flat in a bar area and wondering if we were in the right place!
A little noisy at night. Aircon settings in the bedroom were a bit limited but at least it worked.
Would be nice to leave some tea, coffee and milk (or at least some tea/coffee) too but that may just be a British thing.

Good location..unless you plan on sleeping before 1-2am when the downstairs bar actually shuts
So noisy..kids didn’t sleep at all. Oliver the host didn’t care. Extra room Windows are missing shutters and curtains guaranteeing an early start.
10.0 / 10.0
Since our host wasn't able to be there, she had me communication with a friend who was very prompt in returning texts, and was waiting for us. The rooms were exactly as the pictures. Very clean, cute and comfortable. The apartment was in the Old Town making it easy to walk around.
Every once in a while, a strong smell of sewer/waste would come in the house. It rained a lot when we were there and maybe the old town cannot handle that much water.
