Very pleasant

The location was perfect for my purpose of being there. Parking facilities were good. I personally really like the character of this property. The staff are friendly and welcoming and everywhere spotlessly clean.

I had a single room which was all I required however in a cupboard in the room next to the bed there was a fridge which was very noisy so unplugged it during my stay. And there was one important item missing and that was a bedside lamp, so having to read via a very bright chandelier light then get out of bed to turn the light off.

Very pleasant stay, will come back!

Very friendly and attentive staff; cosy and comfortable room; exceptionally clean bathroom with fluffy towels and quality products supplied. The hotel also has a nice "art deco" style bar downstairs and a pretty garden. Breakfast was good value.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was lovely and a good choice. Evening meal was also superb. A good spot for seeing North Norfolk. Room was very comfortable, we had a small double and there wasn't a lot of room but it had everything we wanted and was fine for a long weekend.

Although the evening menu was lovely, and the extras were appreciated it would have been nice to have a more basic menu as well. We probably would have had more than one evening meal if there was. Can't eat a la carte every night!!!

A little taste of excellence!

Lovely hotel, the owner Hugh and staff were most welcoming, the food was good, breakfasts exceptional both in quality and taste.

Our room was a bit small, but adequate. We didn't mind too much as it was a cheaper deal on line. There are some beautiful rooms there.

Lovely hotel in very convenient location

The location is ideal - just a few minutes' walk from the town centre. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the room was comfortable (but see below).

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which is fast becoming a necessity for summer hotel bookings. On request we were provided with a fan, which did help somewhat.

It’s an absolutely fantastic hotel and caring personal.

I booked the room with jacuzzi and sauna. I was with my partner. We both loved everything about this place. Management and staff was outstanding. Room, food, surrounded was absolutely beautiful.

Superb

The receptionist and manager were very accomodating even when I arrive before my check-in time. It was also great to see so many guests really happy to be visiting, eating and staying within your hotel and actually made me personally feel exactly the same.

Fantastic hotel, friendly and professional staff, and awesome breakfast!

When we first arrived, the owner met us at the door, and took our bags up to our room, while we checked in with the lady in the front desk. Once the paperwork was completed, the young lady showed us round the hotel, and took us up to our room! Excellent professional and lovely check in.

If I had to be particularly picky, the room was a bit hot.

We ate in the restaurant where the food was excellent. The staff throughout our 1 night stay were very attentive, polite and efficient from check in to check out. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overnight at the Beechwood Hotel whilst visiting family

Lovely art deco lounge and first class service with those little extra touches I'd long forgotten about, A vegetarian, I had the most wonderful, freshly cooked risotto ever with exquisite artesan bread and sun dried tomato butter. The restaurant was busy but we were not rushed, it's clear the chef has a wonderful reputation. Chintzy bedroom with en suite and tea making facilities. Wonderful value for money, would go again and thoroughly recommend.
