Super value for money,with all the little extras

Value for money, central location.

Very good location for town centre. Free parking. Spacious family room; comfortable bed, fridge and microwave also in room.

TV wouldn’t connect to internet. Shower and shower pole fell off the wall whilst being used, couldn’t fix back properly so couldn’t easily shower on second day.

Good enough for a super short stopover

Bit smaller than anticipated. Instructions to find the place should be "carpark with the huge Muriel of Lauren Hemp in" would have been a breeze to find then

Overnight stop

Comfortable room well equipped with coffee/tea and bottled water. Breakfast available at the cafe next door with a discount given to guests and within easy walking distance of town centre with other restaurant choices.

It’s an ok stay.

Was available at very last minute.

The front door is very poorly done, missing the handle only has a hole, so I popped my fingers on the side to stop it slamming as I arrived late and don’t want to disturb other guests, but I didn’t realise there was literally no space next to the door and my fingers got caught during shutting. My fingers were super painful for hours. Absolutely ridiculous! The bedding had an odd smell, definitely didn’t feel like it was freshly changed and the material of the duvet cover was not cotton, which gave me a rash by the morning. The rug was also dirty, it clearly missed the hoovering too. The room is good size, and the bathroom is handy however more cleaning would needed, there was a lot of mould everywhere in the shower. I understand I booked last minute, but cleaning is a must! Overall, for the above reasons I felt disappointed for the price I paid.

Room was booked as a stopover on the way to Latitude festival, so met our needs. Just a room. No reception area, no other facilities, but the price was good and the room was fine; clean and comfortable. Owners / staff contactable by phone and entry to property via a keysafe. Staff very helpful when contacted.

The bed was very comfortable and the choice of complimentary teas (fruit tea ,decafe, etc) was good. I thought it was very thoughtful to provide a large room fan for hot weather.

I thought that the heat setting on the shower was a little difficult to control.

Room very good price ,clean and comfortable. Good variety of tea bags more then you would get in a hotel at a much higher price, plus a bottle of water a very considerate thought. Would book again.

Would definitely use again.

We didn't have the breakfasts because of having family living near by. Everything else was good. Bed was very comfortable and room was spotless and quiet location but near enough for whatever you needed.

Only thing was bathroom sink hot tap didn't have a good water flow and was only lukewarm.

overall our stay was good the room was clean, tidy and comfortable

the room was clean and tidy and well equipped.

Could easily hear people in the other rooms. there were two keys and both fit into the main front door so was hard to work out which was the right key. we struggled to get the main door open. the full payment for the property was taken two full days before our stay but the property was advertised as pay on arrival. I understand a temporary hold amount can be taken prior to stay but not necessarily the full amount.

Very comfortable - like a hotel room without the hotel and the cafe next was very useful and a quick walk to local amenities

Only down side was the pop up plug broke but we advised the owner and he resolved very quickly

Location was good. It had everything you needed for your stay

No heating. Fan heater was in the room but as soon as you switched it off it went cold. Very cold during the night but the fan heater was too noisy and overpowering heat. Thin duvets and pillows too flat

Good property and unique in the fact it was staffless, you check in by collecting your key from a safe. The front door needs some work as is difficult to open and close - but a unique stay and good price and location.

It has been a great central place to stay with easy access to many places. The linked cafe served the best bacon bitty ever !!!

Overall, not a great stay

The location was convenient. There was parking provided.

Check in process was terrible - Despite letting the hotel know exactly what time we'd be checking in, there was no one there to let us in. The number provided on the booking kept going straight to voicemail and it took several tries to finally speak to someone. After getting through and getting the lockbox number, turned out there was no key in the box. So we had to call back and wait 15 - 20 mins out in the cold for someone to show up with the key. When she did eventually show up, it took another 10 mins to figure out how to open the door. In the room itself, the bed was not very comfortable and the shower was quite dirty. The shower head stand was also loose and almost falling off the wall.
