Magical stopover between Stonehenge and Glastonbury, with a majestic cathedral that blesses the place.

Amazing location and peaceful sleep in comfy beds with excellent breakfast in the morning.

We loved every bit of it 😇

Wonderful!

The property itself was great and the hosts were fantastic. I had a wonderful breakfast both days and they were more than helpful in everything I needed. One of best B&B I’ve ever stayed at. Location was a 15’ walk to town through a wonderful farmland interspersed with some small rivers.

Great guest house to visit Salisbury

A gorgeous location next to the Mill Pond. A 15 minute walk to the town. Parking on the road outside. If you are unlucky to not find a space directly outside when you first arrive, just keep checking out at the front and you'll get one soon enough. Very quiet location. Staff are friendly and chatty the perfect amount! Lovely place indeed.

Comfortable and great location

The location was great 10/15 mins walk into town centre. Breakfast very good

No official parking but we arrived early so were ok. Be aware of 5 - 8 pm check in , must admit did make the evening awkward didn't want to get into room but just to have key would of been better, and not having to watch the clock

Budget stay with budgets facilities, but excellent location.

Spacious room with a nice bathroom. Fantastic location - just a short walk along the tow path to the city centre. The owners very kindly made arrangements for key collection as we wouldn’t make check in, and that was really helpful.

The room was absolutely freezing. The heating wasn’t on, and the heating only came on the next morning when we emailed asking for it to be turned on as we could see our breath! The owner said that perhaps we had covered the thermostat, but we checked and hadn’t. Just a shame as it was below 0 outside and we struggled to sleep as a result. The shower in room 1 was not at all powerful or hot, which was tough going as hoped to shower to warm up! Also, the tv is very very small (like a small laptop sized monitor) so don’t rely on it if you want to stay in and watch a movie. Room 1 is also noisy as everyone walks past to get in, so a different room might be better. I’d say that this place is exactly what you expect - a budget, no frills stay in a good location.

adequate for 2 nights but could do better

Breakfast was poor ....no decent bread, no muesli, limited choice for vegetarians...no fresh milk available in room for drinks On arrival was 'told off' for arriving at 4.30 as it was 'too early'...didn't start things off well. Parking difficult

Grande chambre dans un BB situé au calme et breakfast copieux et servi rapidement.

petit déjeuner en full breakfast très bon et copieux. La chambre N° 1 que nous avions était très grande avec bouilloire thé, chocolat, lait, café ... L'emplacement est bien calme à côté du restaurant Old Mill et un sentier mène à pied en 15 mn au centre ville et ensuite à la gare.

on pourrait avoir une table pour écrire : par exemple devant la chaise qui est à gauche de la porte en entrant.

Wonderful rural location within walking distance to the city

Very kind and welcoming owners, who kept our luggage on our early arrival to enable us to explore the city. Clean, airy room and wholesome breakfast. Beautiful walk into town across the water meadow Town Path.

Wonderful stay

The location : you can have a 15"minutes walk to the city center through beautiful water meadows. The building is an old English typical house. The staff was really nice to us.

We would stay here again when we visiting Salisbury next time!

Nice scenic location near the river, very pleasant walk to and from city centre. The room was small but had everything we needed for a short stay in Salisbury. Value wise it is the most affordable option near the city centre that includes breakfast.

The breakfast staff and the dining room atmosphere were very friendly, although the food could have better quality (e.g serving more than just instant coffee).

Lacking. Great location, lacked everything else especially customer service and decent breakfast.

Location was great for easy walk into Salisbury

Very late check in of 17:00 hrs. Plastic mattress cover that crackled when you moved and made it very sweaty. Watered down orange juice for breakfast. Lack of atmosphere, no resident host and sterile decoration. Felt like we were an inconvenience due to late check in of 17:00 and early check out of 10:00 and even then staff checked our room at 09:00 and 09:30 to see if we had left!!! Breakfast was only available between 07:00 and 08:30 so no relax and lie in. Maybe more suited to travelling workers!

Great place and people on the whole

Staff efficiency and friendliness, owners' willingness to accommodate reasonable requests, great location, great offee at breakfast, ambience of lobby, general atmosphere of peace and friendliness, lack.of noise from within the property even with many other guests staying, and ease of checking in and out. Would definitely recommend and plan to return.

Very little milk provided in sachets for tea and coffee in room (though more given promptly if you go out and can find staff). Cooked breakfast quality and quantity has gone down since last stay. Extra bed narrow and uncomfortable and main double bed a bit narrow though comfortable enough. Too bright and green a light from detector on ceiling which of course cannot be turned off at night. The only window of the ground floor room we got overlooked the street (luckily mostly pedestrian traffic) and passersby (many quite naturally tend to look in) were so close that it felt like they were in the room, so privacy was an issue unless curtains were kept closed.

Superb

We liked Three Crowns very much. It’s a lovely 10-15 minute walk into town through the Water Meadows, and we probably would not have even known of them if not for the walk. Staff was all wonderful and the area nice & quiet.

Very Average and Overpriced

Facilities themselves were nice. Breakfast wasn't too bad, and the bedroom itself was comfortable.

Highly priced, ridiculously late check in time and extremely rude owner (Whoever operates the contact number). The owner definitely requires some direction on how to use manners. His wife was nice enough, but he needs to stay away from any matters that require interaction with the public.

Near to the city

The guest house is located in a good place, close to the center. The room (No. 1) was rel. newly renovated (so it seems). There are the following to note: 1. check in rel. late 2. NO parking available, although mentioned on the homepage. 3. the room has no storage space in the bathroom/toilet and NO table. Incomprehensible 4. room no. 1 had ants. Unpleasant. We reported this. It was known, no apology, nothing! 5. it was relatively cold in the room. 6. the bed size is an imposition. Not necessarily recommended.

A hidden gem just outside the city

An old building recently restored, extremely comfortable in a wonderful, quiet location along the River Avon. Only a short walk across the water meadow to the town along a lovely path. Wonderful hosts, excellent breakfast, strongly recommended.

Parking is at first daunting, but wait for some vehicles to clear out at the end of the workday and it's no problem.

A lovely guest house

Location...Quality of renovation...Owner/Staff very nice and friendly...dining room...parking just outside on road

Beds...very important for us...however the beds and mattresses did not provide us any comfort and consequently we had a very bad night's sleep. With the exceptional quality of everything else this was disappointing. That's it ...a great guest house and the beds will not be an issue for everyone!

Awesome value for money stay at Salisbury

the property is lovely! the rooms are comfy, neat and spotlessly clean, the beds are super comfy and snuggly. after a long day of travel, had a super night’s sleep. the breakfast was also awesome. home cooked and perfect. tasty.
