large room, good quality linen and very clean.
There was only a bed and broken clothes rail with 3 hangers. Disappointed that restaurant and bar were closed but had clarified that there would be breakfast. On arrival was told that there wouldn't be. We left and would like a refund.

Our room was dark needs lightening up with the decor and needs a mirror in the bedroom no where to sit and do your hair

Absolutely nothing
Reception not really bothered we were there, The room was at the top of 3 flights and had a ripped deter in to sit on and the heating wasn’t on so it was freezing, Bathroom was filthy with dust and cobwebs hairs in sink and the bathroom curtain and pole were disgusting..

The staff were friendly
Before I arrived I had asked for the room to have rose petals and also asked for Prosecco/chocolates and cakes. This wasn’t done for us. We did tell the guy at reception and he called his boss and he said she was poorly. There offered the Prosecco to us complimentary if we were to eat at the facility.
The hotel was dirty, in the room the floor was also dirty and there was specs of tobacco down the side of the drawers and some rubbish.
We played pool in the bar area and was told we needed to pay, there was no chalk, only one cue stick and the table was a mess and on a slant. We still had to pay £1 to play.

Easy to find. Comfortable, warm, and clean.
No breakfast. However, turn right at the main road, excellent sandwich shop down on the left.

It was within walking distance of the work.
It was shabby and cold. The shower didn't work and the water was cold. The bed wasn't comfortable. No breakfast was offered. A more detailed review is on Tripadvisor.

The bedroom was quite big.
I am sorry to leave this sort of review- and maybe it is just me, but this place was dirty, and I am a stickler for cleanliness. As other reviews have said, the area outside the rooms needs a really good clean. The biggest issue with my stay though was the lack of cleaning in the room and bathroom and the fact that there was a silverfish infestation in the bathroom. The bathroom had clearly not been cleaned and there was damp and mould everywhere. In the bedroom there were cobwebs and the curtains were really dirty. I actually left a day earlier and booked somewhere else because I couldn't physically stay there another night. When I tried to check out, I was ringing the bell and no one came. I wanted to let the staff know about the silverfish infestation, because that can be really hard to get rid of (they lay eggs really quickly), but I had killed several in the night. I also wanted to explain why I was leaving early, but I didn't even get the chance to do that! But at that point I didn't even want a refund, I just wanted to leave.

The lady who greeted us was friendly and helpful.
I had booked a 'deluxe suite'. Bed was 2 single mattresses balanced on a flat double bed base. Shower was in room with a curtain. 'Parquet flooring' was laminate flooring in poor condition. Room was noisy and before 7am a catering extractor came on outside the window. Stairs to rooms were grubby. Room looked much better in the photo than in real life. Fan in corner of room was covered in dust on cage and blades. I think the room was only worth just over half of the price we paid.

It's in a good central position. Good comfy bed.so good night's sleep.
Nobody in reception.had to put my head round the kitchen door to let me out in the morning.as the front door was locked.bathroom wasn't wiped down whilst I was there.horrid shower.cant take a shower without getting hair wet.was already in p.j's when I realised there was no teaspoon in room.so couldn't be bothered getting dressed to go down to get one.yukky Tetley teabags.(but that's just my personal hate)I will take my own next time.no remote for the TV.had to put my glasses on to see which buttons I needed to press.

Dog friendly.
Good location.
Nice pub over the road
£15 a night for the dog.
Whole place needs a good clean.
Toilet seat not designed for the toilet it was on.
Breakfast was a fiasco. Told that breakfast started at 7. They hadn’t even turned the lights on at 7. They actually take your order around 7. Breakfast turned up at 7.40. Don’t have breakfast if you’re in a hurry. However waiter did apologise. Best to order and go back to bed for 40 minutes.

It was filthy, I took photos of it all. Needs good deep clean, and new furniture in room, on there website "about us" non of it was like this for us. Tried to get another hotel but was full or too far away for were we needed to be. Wouldn't rate this to anyone

Not a lot really
Our room was dirty and had dust and collected stuff on the floor. The water from the shower went all in the bathroom. The nets in the window were dirty and torn. Downstairs near the bar and kitchen smelt horrible, we was going to eat here but the smell put us off, so cancelled our reservation.
2.5
The hotel is in a prime position and owing to the other hotels close by being used by immigrants they are not able to take other possible clients.
The hotel advertises as Luxury rooms at affordable prices, totally incorrect! The rooms are not very welcoming, wooden floors, dull grey coloured walls no pictures and sparsely furnished, the beds are very comfortable but the rooms need attention! to be more welcoming, only cheap plastic coat hangers, possibly left by previous guests! Also attention needs to be paid to the cleaning, The toilet in my room needs a good clean to the floor! The price charge for my 2 night stay was very high and does not include breakfast, l am sorry but l had to stay there because no other hotels available!

The property was in a very convenient area for our spa day and near the town. But mostly the staff / owners were amazing couldn’t do enough for you
if honest it could do with an update. Does need to be decorated and good clean up outside but this could be over looked because of the way we’re treated - the staff are amazing

The staff were lovely and the dinner was very tasty.
someone's TV in another room was so loud all night we didn't sleep.
