Exceptional food and service. A comfortable night's stay.

Meals were exceptional. I would encourage guests to plan to have dinner at the hotel. Front desk staff were welcoming and made us feel at home. Rooms were comfortable.

While this seems trivial, the pillows on the bed were not comfortable for me. And if you are driving, the streets approaching the town and the B&B are extremely narrow and crowded.

Great stay.

Wonderful old hotel. Excellent evening meal and breakfast was beautiful. Staff were spot on and prices good.

We stayed on a Saturday evening and moved into the bar after the meal. The local’s language was shocking to be honest. We moved into another room where young children were present and the raw language could still be heard. Such a shame as everything else about the stay was fantastic. Suppose the locals will be in there most nights so the hotel can do little to change things. Would stay again though.

Great staff and clean accommodation with high quality food

Location was great and secure motorcycle parking gave us peace of mind. The staff made all the stay great and food high quality

Y Talbot is an exceptional stopover on our route from Chester to Solva. The accommodation is excellent and immaculate. The food outstanding. This was our eighth stay.

This is a good pub, hotel, restaurant all in one in a great spot in the heart of the village. A lovely place to be. The staff were very helpful and very friendly.

Bar closed a little early for a Saturday night.

Weekend stay in Tregaron - T Talbot

Lovely location in the centre of town, fitted out with everything you need in room (good bed, shower and kettle) and really great staff. Breakfast was great (full english, perfect, but had a great range on menu) and overall gave you everything you need for hotel in the area - will stay again!

Excellent! Would thoroughly recommend this. I left feeling cosseted.

The food here was exceptionally good. The staff too were incredibly helpful and kind. Fascinating building and history. I stupidly left an article of clothing behind and they posted it the next day.

Top food, great location, friendly staff.

The food and atmosphere was very good. Top rate hot chocolate. Good walking and cycling area. Garage available for cycle storage.

A little tatty around the edges but you had to look closely to notice. No hand soap in the bathroom but lots of other accessories.

Only standard size beds, for the price I would expect king size . Rooms overlooking the square can be noisy if the square is busy as no double glazing.

Comfortable, quiet and I enjoyed my one night. Great location to explore the outdoors.

The room was comfortable and spacious and I had a nice view overlooking the back garden. The breakfast was really nice and well presented. You had a good choice and again the dining room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the outdoor garden where the seating captures the last of the evening sun, a nice space to just sit and enjoy a drink. The evening meals looked good but I had enjoyed a late lunch so I didn't eat that night.

I was more than happy with my stay and looking at prices generally, I guess this is what you expect to pay. I have not stayed in a hotel in this country for a 2-3 years and I was hoping to find something closer to £60 for one night. The price was more than I wanted to pay but since it was a last minute decision to split my journey, and not a great deal was available.

Great place to stop off on our Motorcycle trip

Great shower which was really powerful and refreshing. The bed was comfy and the full breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and the pub had a good atmosphere. Food in the bar and restaurant is the same and very tasty. Not the cheapest of meals but still reasonable value for money. A good selection of beers and guest ales.

Wardrobe space very limited for two people who would be staying longer than one night

The rooms were lovely and spacious. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and approachable. The food was exceptional. I couldn't pick any fault with our stay.

Lovely peaceful break away from it all

Lovely peaceful setting, quirky old building and very comfortable room - Y Talbot was just the short break we were looking for. The restaurant also comes highly recommended.

No complaints. I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like about the place.
