We liked the view. Property was bright and spacious. Liked option of eating in kitchen or lounge. Having two bathrooms was a real asset. Nicely furnished apartment.
Stair lighting was poor on the lower landing during the day and the entrance was dark , although it did come on at night. This should be raised with the factors. Living door didn’t shut fully .

We stayed in between Christmas and New year for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. The weather was wild and loved sitting at the window watching the crashing waves come in. The flat was really cozy, great beds and lots of towels. We ate at Lido one of the nights which was lovely. Great parking too. We were trying to work out how we could retire somewhere like this. We have booked again for next year!

I was in Troon on business but took my parents for the trip. Wow, what a beautiful place. The apartment has the most fantastic view, it's just beautiful. The apartment was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I hope to return in the future for a longer stay.

Location was good. Parking is offroad . Clean and spacious apartment.
A bad smell around the kitchen door was nauseating.

The central heating and hot water were fine.
However my wife noticed that the boiler pressure was low. This may cause problems in the future.
It did not affect ourvstay

Great location. Lovely views of Arran and Ailsa Craig. Close to beach and town centre amenities. Very comfortable flat.
Flat was freezing on arrival with several windows open. Instructions to turn heating on not clear but resolved with telephone call to owner. Thermostat control not reacting to preset programme or allowing adjustment initially (too hot overnight) but googled instructions and problem fixed.

the location was perfect the view was stunning it was near the pub the area was so quiet and calming. i could have sat and looked out the window all day
i felt that the decor was very summery and although pretty enough it wasnt really cosy for a winters night I personally like carpets and curtains. Iv never understood why televisions are placed halfway up the walls and not at eye level

Beautiful location, next to the sea but close to town centre with plenty of shops and cafes. Lovely decor. It's December and there was a Christmas tree set up for us which was a nice touch. We appreciated the en suite bathroom. There was plenty of room in the apartment and it was clean throughout. There was a rainfall-style shower in the main bathroom. Towels, a hair dryer and plenty of toilet rolls(!) were provided. One of the nicest places we've stayed in.
I chose the place for its sea view so I was disappointed that there was scaffolding in front of all the windows. Nevertheless I still enjoyed the view between the scaffolding poles, and appreciated being so close to the sea. When we got here the temperature indoors was 11.5 Celcius and we couldn't get the thermostat to communicate with the boiler. However the host responded quickly to my request for help and we got it working using a button on the wall in the hall.

Location! Seafront views are lovely and well placed for local facilities.
Well equipped flat with logs of space.
Wonky toilet seats got a bit annoying after a few days.
Pillows were also uncomfortable

Nothing. This apartment is in very poor condition and is basically a health hazard. Stay here at your own risk. the owners will probably argue against this, however the attached photos show it as it really is. I have been staying in holiday lets for many years, I have never left negative feedback previously, I would only leave negative feedback if it is deserved. I can describe this apartment in one word it is a: Dump.
Again the owners will disagree with this however the photos say it all (a picture paints a thousand words).
After a 10 hour drive, we arrived at 1830, I Didn't expect to find a property in this state. On entering the property it smelt of damp. On further investigation there was damp/mould in the bathroom and around the windows in the living room. My wife and I then went into the bedrooms, the double and single beds had all been slept in, the bedding was dirty. The microwave in the kitchen was also found to be filthy and corroded. The double glazed windows in the living room are blown and have condensation within(opaque) so poor visibility through them. The apartment was grubby and felt unclean. my wife refused to stay in the property and we booked another near by. We contacted the owners who took four days to respond to our initial complaint. They actually had the cheek to say that they had rectified the problems and that we could move into the property if we wished (not a chance).

Super location, spacious, easy to access. Nice touch with the whiskey treat. Good wifi and bathroom facilities. we had everything we needed.
Unfortunately the mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable. i would recommend changing them all. None of us slept well at all any night as a consequence. We would say that we would have no hesitation in booking again if we knew there were new better quality mattresses eg semi orthopaedic perhaps or just simply better quality.

A lovely, comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished apartment with a panoramic view of the sea. It has the potential to be a delightful experience for guests!
This is a lovely apartment but the housekeeping lets it down! We were disappointed to find that the fridge had not been cleaned, a kitchen cupboard had crumbs and sugar spilled in it and the cutlery tray had crumbs and a small piece of paper in it. The place mats on the sitting room table had crumbs and it appeared that neither they nor the table had been wiped. Neither the duvet cover nor the sheets on the double bed had been ironed and had so many creases that we were left wondering if the bed had indeed been changed! Overall, not the standard of housekeeping that we have come to expect from holiday rentals. Also, it would have been nice to have had advance warning that the building is surrounded by scaffolding and that there may be workmen around during our stay. Obviously, the seaview is substantually restricted, which can't be helped, but it was a bit disconcerting to have a workman passing to and fro in front of the window as we sat having breakfast in our nightwear! It is the first time when staying in an apartment that my wife has sent me to the supermarket for rubber gloves and cleaning materials! I phoned the host shortly after our arrival but got no answer so left a voicemail expressing our disappointment. When I got no response, I messaged him the next morning. I received a prompt response saying he was overseas and seemed not to be getting voicemails! He apologised and said that if I had messaged him the day before, instead of phoning him, he would have sent the housekeeper round immediately to bring things up to "the usual high standard"! Overall, a disappointing experience and response!

Dirty green slime around bath panels
Chipped dinner plate which scratched my daughter as I didn’t realise it was there
SCAFFOLDING round full building which I wasn’t pre-warned about!
Two messages sent to the host that were ignored so now gone to customer services.

Lovely location, clean, organised.
Just a little sparse, though could be result of Covid directives. EG dining chairs low, and no cushions.

Beautiful view, great location for the purpose of our trip, a nearby family wedding. Very good value.
Unfortunately it was an extremely windy few days which resulted in some noise whilst trying to sleep (either from windows or roof).
