Cooried Doon in Troon!!

Cosy wee house, perfect size for the 3 of us, would fit more easily. Handy for the shops in the town centre, Chinese, Indian, Turkish Kebab takeaways and Chippie 5 minute walk away, close to the ice cream shop and the sea front too.

The bins outside needed emptied other than that couldn't fault it

A super little place, in a great location near the centre of Troon.

Comfortable accommodation in a clean and well presented property. Had everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The shower was a bit difficult to control (suddenly went very hot or cold).

fabulous base and great communication and directions from the host.

I loved my stay in this tastefully, decorated, cosy and comfortable, peaceful, secure and well-equipped home from home. small but perfectly formed with everything you need for a break. Dog friendly garden.

Great little place for a weekend stay in Troon.

Great location and owners instructions made it easy to find.

Only real complaint is the lack of lighting on the driveway and path leading to the garden gate which made walking back in the dark tricky. Plus the bathroom is beginning to look tired ( bath front panel was loose and has a crack in it)

My adult son and I enjoyed having a room each for our visit, our first trip to Ayrshire for about 20

Location very convenient for the shore and shops and restaurants. No breakfast was offered or expected.

Hot water flow to bathroom sink; no shower mat for bath; no literature for guests with details of how to work TV or heating; beds could have been more comfortable; little storage space for golf clubs

Nice but not family friendly

Location in town of apt.

Not a fan of electric heating as it's too faffy having to boost each individual radiator when it goes off. Kitchen was soo small, only fit 1 person ( adult) in at a time. No freezer to store frozen foods. No full size draining board for washed dishes. Bathroom was cold even with radiator on and toilet roll holder was broken. Couch was uncomfortable. It's defo not family friendly apt. I'd say more for a couple. I didn't realise it was an upstairs or else I wouldn't have booked it. I had a 2 year old with me and was worried about the stairs with him.

Wee break in Tro

Great location near town centre and beach. Enclosed safe garden for the dog. As always house exceptional and well equipped. Can never go wrong booking through Coorie Doon.

Nice apartment, ideal for a short stay in Troon

Nice clean, modern, well appointed apartment in a good location. The host was also very helpful by posting an item we had left behind.

The bedroom was a bit on the small side, but adequate for a 2 night stay.

Ideal

This was an ideal location. Went to scotts and lidu for food which was excellent. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable & had everything that we needed. The only reason i scored 9/10 for facilities was because the shower wasnt as powerful as im used to. If i was returning to Troon id definately be back

Let down with the shower as we were at a sports competition and all need to shower when we got back

Everything we need for a comfortable stay was provided. Very clean and well supplied with towels. Nice and central. Great for our stay as we were playing in a competition for Scotland. We certainly would book again if the shower is improved as pressure was really poor and 3 of us ended up having to have baths.

The shower pressure is not good.

Lovely modern clean cottage. Had everything we needed and more.

The only thing I can fault is the shower. I just couldn't get a temperature between scalding and freezing I'm afraid. That said it's my only grumble.

Lovely, comfortable stay at The Bailey.

We liked the central location to the town, beach and the amenities. The flat was spotlessly clean, 5 stars for the cleaning team. It was tastefully decorated and the little touches like rolled up throws were lovely if you were cold, although we weren’t as it’s a cosy house. Games and cards nice idea, if the weather wasn’t good and you had to stay in. The availability of Netflix major plus.

A blackout curtain in the main bedroom, as it’s very bright in the morning. A bin upstairs would be useful.

ICoorie Doon was first class , spotlessly clean, freshly decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I personally wouldn't hesitate to recommend someone for a short break . 4* as there is always room for improving everything .
