Great location
The cleaning hadn’t been completed.
No fan in the bathroom.
There wasn’t a power point for the electric blanket.
4.1
Amazing view nice and quiet
Needs better heating
4.1
Clean spacious unit.
Nothing
4.1
close to all the attractions around this stunning area
suitable for adults only for safety reasons close to a highway and dangerous cliffs
there was an unpleasant odour coming from the septic area
4.1
Great view, would absolutely stay again
The bed was a little soft for my liking.
4.1
the little view from garden.
bathroom was very small and kinda smelly.

Easy self check-into our comfy fresh and clean Lockwood style studio cabins. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially the amazing lush natural views of the stunning surroundings from our deck and the location we were in. Only a short drive away you'll find the best little quaint tavern with friendly locals and staff that serve the most tastiest fish'n'chips. Across the road from Punakaiki rocks entrance is a neat café that serve the best pancake breakfast to start your day. Our room served it's purpose for us as we visited many of the local attractions. Another highlight for us was listening to the distant ocean waves at through the night time which was like white noise for us and made for an amazing sleep with the exception of the noisy wekas outside screeching. Overall the perfect stay which we definitely plan to come back and visit again. Thank-you :-)
We really enjoyed everything that was on offer in our lovely room, however it would of been nice to of had a few more coffee sachets as we only had two and we're coffee drinkers.
And the other was the soap pump dispenser wasn't working so we had to take it off each time we went to wash our hands. The liquid in the dispenser was very watery too!

Beautiful view from blowholes cottage. Modern and clean. Good value for the price. Close to the main attractions.
Creaky bed needs fixing.
4.1
It was clean.
No service. Stayed two nights no service

For the price, pretty good. A good location, very quiet and relaxing.
A little outdated, which didn't make it feel 100% clean - for example, a little rust on the fridge. Old cushions and chair. Old drapes.

Rooms where very big. Very comfy beds.
Self checking a tad confusing as we booked last minute our name was not on board and I had no idea which room we where in. I had to search through my emails got there in the end No sign of any staff

nice location
Half of the windows opened and no heating when we arrived… in the middle of winter ! Also the bungalows were quite outdated.

Beautiful views. Loved every minute of our stay.

a heat pump would have made it more comfortable

The seaside cottage was superb, especially the views. All modern convenciences and the cottage was well-maintained like it was still new, it was like staying at someone else's house. The cabins were charming but didn't have enough insulation/heating (we're from the tropics-but those from temperate climes won't mind at all) but they did provide electric blankets. I didn't get to see the Bush cottage where the rest of my friends stayed so can't comment about that. Loved the honesty system no-contact check-in. Just find your name on the board and get the key (and if you're booking doesn't reflect on the board, just get the key and sort it out later with them).

Loved the veiw from the Outlook deck..
Wish the trees outside the unit decks were topped to open up veiw

They have a self check in system but our name was not on the board. And it was impossible to get in touch with the owners even though it was 6.30pm. They did eventually get in touch to apologize and refunded our money. They really need to have a reliable way for guests to contact them when things go wrong. We had to find alternative accommodation.
4.1
Proximity to the Rocks and Barrytown (we went to a wedding there)
Spacious apartment, excellent cooking facilities that fitted in with what we wanted
Nice and quiet, despite the wildlife!
Comfy bed - always a good thing
A mirror in the lounge area would be helpful if the bathroom is busy
A fan - it was so hot outside but couldn't open the doors up due to sandflies & mozzies

The room was absolutely amazing I couldn’t fault it whatsoever and such a great price for what we got!
The milk in the fridge didn’t seem fresh and was very bitty.
4.1
Beautiful view out through the balcony and from the patio deck in the garden. distance from pancake rocks. Having wifi in that area was really appreciated.
spider webs out at the balcony especially on chairs… no air conditioning facilities. window with insect net is too small to get cool air in. the balcony door should be left open to let cool air in but there is no inset net for the balcony door.

sensational view of the coast from or Seaview cottage.
4.1
Very clean.
No air conditioning or fan for the heat.

wonderful views.
mould on the windows, smelt damp and mildewed, walls had lots of water damage, bathroom floor was dirty, was not to the standard one would expect for the price. conversely we have previously stayed in the seaside cottage which was loverly. we were disappointed to find the blow hole cottage was no where near the same standard despite the price. oddly no soap but we were provided with hair conditioner when we asked for soap,
