The place was really cute and just enough space for what we needed, our dog loved the space in the backyard and finding a couple of balls left there. The view was so so lovely, its right on the water and the lockbox checkin was really easy.
The kitchen utensils and supplies were a little old, it looked like second hand leftovers from grandmas house and some of the mugs and plates had little cracks in them. z
The bathroom could do with a makeover too.

Beautiful view, close access to lake, plenty of walking track, close to shops and cafes
Needs a lot of TLC

thee location, the view, the space in the property.
customer service extremely poor following a flooding incident on our 3rd day / the emergency numbers provided were out of date and the out of hours number went to vm / thankfully we had helpful neighbours.
the purpose of going self catering is to be able to cook at the property. this wasn’t possible as the cooker was rusty and the oven wasn’t inviting to use. so we had to eat out more than we wanted, which was an added expense.

water views
The condition of the facilities was quite old, kettle, washing machine and dryer were not working. Kitchen utensils and cookware provided were old and not in useable condition (non stick surfaces severely scratched and nylon utensils part melted). Staff were not very understanding about the inconvenience and low standard of amenities and demanded access to property during my short stay even though it was clear the broken equipment would not be replaced by the time I was to leave. They have also held onto the NSW government 50 dollar stay voucher value and not taken it off the price of the rental that was paid in full via booking.com. Shower did not fully drain after use, smelled strongly of urine.

great location, funny board games :) loved the place regardless the weather
there were not enough towels & no dishwashing liquid on arrival. also the light in the kitchen was not working. this was not mentioned prior arrival which made the washing up a bit hard on the first day

The location is excellent; peaceful lakeside setting on walking/biking track with lovely bird life & the holiday home vibes Cottage charm throughout
Shower pressure & location to bedrooms good but the separate toilet at front of house was slightly less convenient to venture to in the night time

it is convenient to what we need. have a relaxing view of the lake.

A great spot for the family to enjoy. Beautiful views of the lake and a convenient location - we were easily able to walk around the lake to Budgewoi for a coffee and groceries. The family enjoyed riding bikes and scooters and having a swing by the lake on the way. The house was well equipped and comfortable.
The communication from East Coast Getaways was extremely confusing. We received various emails and texts at different times saying that the property did or did not provide bed linen; that we could or could not pick up the keys from the onsite key safe; that we could or could not leave the keys in the key safe on departure; and that we could or could not check in at the office. The check in problem was particularly frustrating as East Coast required ID details including transmission of a full drivers licence photo online - this was not flagged prior to booking and raised privacy concerns.
