Very convenient for breaking up our journey to the Alps. Very well equipped kitchen and the host was very welcoming.
The shower head isn’t attached to a wall.

Spacious, well-appointed and beautiful place for exploring the Jura region. Close to restaurants, wineries and artisan cheese producers. The BBQ facilities were appreciated!
Only suggestion is info on history of this 15th century chateau would have been good. Also Wi-Fi reception seems to be switched off between 12:00 and 7:00.

the old building is nice and charming. easy parking. very spacious and well equipped kitchen. big couch and beds are comfortable ! a lot of information about things to do in the area. the owner was helpful by providing us some fires to light up the bbq area.
noisy bedroom doors, noise from the national road, a lot of noise from the neighbours as isolation of noise is pretty bed. we woke up systematically at 7am from kids running and that made a lot of noise.
shower does not have a hook, so the only way is to hold it in your hands.
we had expected the terrace to be close to our room but actually it’s a bit out of the way and not really useable as no sitting area is installed.

I felt like I am in very luxury place! I am so sad I had to stay there only one night. Very good thing too is all equipment for cooking is included.

It’s a beautiful location.
It was not made clear in the booking that we were going to be charged extra for sheets and towels.

the gite was excellent. It had all the facilities needed, down to a first-aid kit which I had occasion to use.
I had a nasty experience with the neighbours' dog. I went to the washing line, and seeing a set of steps, decided to explore.I did not realise that they led to a separate house, rather than a part of the chateau, which is large and rambling.I was attacked and bitten quite severely by the neighbours' nasty little Bichon Frise. I was on their property, I agree, although there was nothing to show this.(There was a "Prive" notice on the other side of the path, the owner's side).I still have the marks of its teeth. They apologised, rather half-heartedly, but it is not acceptable. It could have been a child, and much more serious. I suggest putting a sign to show where the gite property ends. This is not the fault of the gite owner, whose property was lovely, but it is a safety issue which needs to be addressed.
