Very disappointed with the quality and location of the single rooms

Poor

I have stayed at this Chateau on 3 previous occasions and liked staying in the main hotel. The single rooms are poor quality; sockets didn't work, poor building which requires improving. I was very disappointed.

It's a place in nature, very nice to do walks. Surrounded by beautiful trees. It could be a good place if you know exactly were are you going and more than a hotel is a conference or retreat place....

I was expecting a real hotel with a reception etc. We did not stay in the principal building and I had to walk around 700 mts to a different building with no reception to get to our room, very confusing. There was no one in the hotel that could tell me where to go, they had left some directions with paper but .

a good place to rest when hiking

I did already know it from my pilgrim way at 2017 and chose it again for the Alpenpanorama-Weg. The room with a shared bathroom was clean and good to get a long sleep.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. What a beautiful place! Gorgeous views and beautiful buildings and garden. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We would definitely go back to stay at the hotel or to use it as an event venue!

A beautiful castle hidden in the wood

The ambient was great, if was a pleasure taking breakfast outside. The architecture of the buildings, the garden with the plants, the vicinity of the lake. The place provides a feeling of space. When we arrived, it was late at night and a wedding party was taking place. The next day boxes of empty bottles proved that the party was excellent, one could still feel how the good time seems like. Yet we sleeped well since our rooms were in another building remote, hidden in the wood.

We liked everything about the stay. However, we had problems arriving to the place, spent several hours going up and down between Geneve and Lausanne. We could not connect by wifi as Switzerland is not a part of the EU net that we had and we relied on the help of good people to direct us. A lady in a hotel on the way printed a map for us, but it was not informative enough as regards exits on the highway. As Chateau de Bosay is a bit hidden in the woods, we feel lucky to have found it at all. We assumed to come in the afternoon and go to a walk besides the lake at the evening. As we had to be in Lyon the next day as soon as possible, we were not able to even see the shore of the beautiful lake. We wished to be able to stay another day.

1. Perfect atmosphere of silence. 2. Very good breakfast. 3. Clean rooms and bathroom. 4. Good Wi-Fi which works everywhere in the chateau.
