El Dorado Inn a must do again.

The place was kept clean at all time, the staff are amazing shopping , public transportation , supermarket and fresh fruit for nearby.

Just wish they had lunches even if it's for sale.

I utilized all the amenities this hotel has to offer during my stay, and it was exceptional.

The staff was personable, yet professional and everyone I encountered went out of their way to make my staff pleasant.

I had zero worries or complaints during my stay.

good breakfast but too many cockroaches

very good breakfast. The receptionist was friendly. The man who’s in charge of repairing was very efficient. There was a drain outside of our room. He came to our room to repair the shower and spotted a dead cockroach on floor. Then he immediately arranged bug spray over the public area. Killed several cockroaches in public area.

1, We saw 3 cockroaches in our room. we too 1 photo. Although all of the 3 were killed later, it still makes one doubtful the unhygienic sanitation of this hotel. 2, Since we were forced to change our travel plans, we couldn’t stay in this hotel for the last day which we already paid for. I understand it’s the common practice that hotels don’t charge city tax & fee if guests didn’t stay at the room they already paid for. So we asked this hotel if they could refund us the 8 USD city tax & fee. We were refused by the manager relentlessly.

Pleasant and comfortable

Very good location. Great variety of options for breakfast. My room was surprisingly spacious, adequately furnished and comfortable. Quick response to service needs.

While all staff members are courteous, respectful and friendly, much more attention needs to be given to cleaning, particularly in the bathroom areas. Sink faucets and handles appear to be never or seldom cleaned, outside toilet bowls appear to be never cleaned. Floors appear to be clean but are not.

Central, accommodating, friendly, clean and the food is amazing.

I decided to give a rating of 10 which is based on how promptly the issue was resolved and prompt refund with the lack of response of an elevator on the property. The staff were amazing and the food was delicious. They were very accommodating with my dietary restrictions. The staff were amazing and helpful. The hotel is centrally located.

The time it took to respond to my inquiry of an elevator on the premises. The hotel description in booking MUST be updated to reflect the lack of an elevator on the premises if you choose to stay on the upper floors. I was traveling with my 96 year old mother.

The right location and price.

My second stay and I am satisfied. The AC worked, room was a good size but the stairs to the third floor were tough. Breakfast was nice and local. It was close to the place i need to get to and places I like snacking so I am happy. Thank you for the pleasant faces and smiles.

i am sure management will continue to provide a good service and improve as they get more feedback.

Noisy upstairs guests. Breakfast was good but they were controlling portions you take in the buffet. Breakfast started late 8am when it was suppose start at 7:00am.

Location, decoration.

Worst hotel service I have ever experienced. I asked the hotel if they could provide a place with a Wi-Fi connection to work, understandably with a computer, until I could do the check in. They said yes, but then only offered a place in the open that of course was hot, dirty and loud. The TV in my room didn´t work, it took the staff 5 hours and 3 reminders to come fix it. Soon after it stopped working again. They switched me to a smaller room, though the price didn´t change. The first day they said the came to clean the room, but the only thing they did was bringing a toilet paper, no cleaning, no changing towels… The buffet breaksfast is rationed and the portions too small. Better not to ask if you can have more if you want to start the day on the right foot. I asked if they could switch on the AC in the breakfast area and the response was that I could go to my room.

Enjoyable but could have done without having to point out faults every day. Some fixed others not.

The landings on the 1st and 2nd floors.Conveniently located. Staff friendly.

The rooms were poorly maintained. Found cockroaches,water only luke warm having requested hot each day. Sheets and towels only changed if you asked even when left on the floor. safe deposit box not working and the replacement was a portable one! Tripped on curled up carpet cutting my head and knee.Sink came away Tom the wall and glasses. not washed.

It filled our needs

N.ice breakfast and I liked the veranda for just watching traffic and life

I thought the ladies at the reception desk could have been a little cheerier. Also, we were falsely accused of bouncing on the floor of our room neither of us have that kind of energy. The call could have been phrased better. Rather than tell us the room below us complained because we were bouncing on the floor. They could have asked us if we knew where a noise was coming from.

One of the better hotels for this price point

It was a good value for the price. The inside of the building had a lot of character. It was also great to have a hot shower in an air conditioned room. It was one of the few hotels that I’ve stayed at in Guyana that offer hot showers.

Very comfortable and relaxing .

The Atmosphere , staff and receptionist were excellent, would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Actually I did brought in a few guest , after I had booked my room. Everyone love the location , and the cleanliness and also the staff. Breakfast was superb. Thank you so much .

Excellent! The entire staff/security was extremely pleasant and accommodating 👍🏾👏🏾

The breakfast was outstanding. I recommend that you provide Decaffeinated coffee and tea as well as Half and Half milk.

Despite the fact that we didn’t request cleaning of the rooms daily, the dust accumulated on the shelves and it was also visible on the tops of the refrigerator and microwave.
