The beds were clean, staff were friendly, building felt safe and secure.
The bistro cafe downstairs is pretty convenient.
They offer helpful services like currency exchange and have a list of reliable drivers to help you get to and from the airport and will help you make arrangements if asked.
Water pressure was weak in the shower.
The shower stalls weren't sealed properly so water leaked onto the bathroom floor, but you can just lay a towel down to catch the puddle.

Lovely room and facilities great bed and shower, Bistro next door great food, kitchen food service is so slow, serving staff are lovely, as is the front desk team, of the three hotels I stayed on this visit Kings has the best room facilities lovely room, with a super comfortable bed, I would definitely stay here again, when I visit Guyana again.
Bistro's kitchen needs to have a better cooking and delivery process, 38 minutes to serve two poached egg on toast, with only one couple in front of me, feels extremely poor, that said the food is delicious and its a very popular spot with hotel guests and Guyanese try the Thai curry it was excellent.

1. The breakfast tasted good
2. The staff were courteous but it does not count when they are ineffective at WiFi and meals.
3. The room was very clean and there were no malodors.
1. I had to wait a long time for breakfast in Sun 28th as the cook was not out at 7 am and I was stressed as had to go for flight back
2. Fri dinner I was not told that the shrimps had pepper in them - very uncomfortable for me as I began to cough
3. There was no gym!!! At 400 USD per night there is no hotel I thought in the world that would do me such a disservice.
4. There was no lift, I was on the 3rd floor, I did not mind the exercise but it was not nice when I had to tote my luggage!
5. The WiFi was NOT working when I got there, the lady at the front tried to make me believe it was my equipment failure!! I took out my laptop and it too could not connect. Finally when I said I want to leave and book elsewhere then she reached technician who fixed it within 3 mins- this was gross inefficiency.
6. The surroundings looked dangerous so I did no feel safe to go out for a run!

The presidential room was nice
No hot water one morning and very little on the 2nd morning. They don’t tell you that there is not an elevator. The presidential is on the 3rd floor. No one offered to carry luggage.
At dinner the pork chops was burnt and very tough and the cream of potatoes went bad

The Location is Prime. Close to restaurants, taxi centrals, Republic bank and nature parks
A lift is much needed in the building for efficiency

The hotel was very clean and well maintained, with responsive and kind personnel. The wi-fi connection was excellent. The restaurant Bistro next to the hotel provided nice breakfast and dining options. The hotel responded quickly to all my requests.
There was a noisy restaurant nearby till late in the night. The view from the room was not nice.

I did not like the fact that I had to leave ... lol

The room was clean and well maintained. I loved the fact that there was cable so I could have watched international news/programmes. The meals were excellent. I absolutely enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The staff was also friendly, especially those at the Bistro who took our orders and delivered the meals.
There was no elevator so we had to literally fetch our luggage, weighing more than 50lbs, up the stairs to our room. It was very disappointing. I would have expected that in the absence of a elevator, there would have been an able-bodied valet to render assistance to the guests. I now have severe back pain from having lifted the heavy luggage while climbing the stairs.

Spacious room, really comfortable, good bed.
On the day I stayed the bistro (room service) was not working, which was a inconvenience because the establishments that are close don't accept credit cards or US dollars besides having bad food.

Only location
Its not value for the money....paid USD 175/night but no complementary breakfast, no GYM, no swimming pool.
Room and washroom are small.
No microwave in the rooms from second floor we have to walk down has no lift facility in the hotel.
I stayed in Room 207 and behind the room their is a private bar and on 1st August the music from the bar was so loud from 6pm to next day 7am and i was not able to sleep.
Persons working in the Front desk does not even greet the guest when they come in....over all hospitality is poor.

I booked two nights at King's Hotel & Residences beacause, Ramada, another hotel I booked wasn't available on these dates. But I found the food and the service were beyond my expectations.
From breakfast to dinner, everything was delicious. And the staff, in sharp contrast to Ramada, were super friendly and extremely helpful. The room may be small but felt very clean. The front desk let me check in a bit earlier and when I left they helped me called taxi.
Though I didn't get to visit any attractions as I went there for work, but the hotel is close to major tourist sights.

Location is very good
Room is clean
Restaurant staffs are not friendly, felt like they were serving food for homeless person.
Restaurant should open by 7:00am but they open only at 7:30am which is late......also even by 7:45am i saw the staffs were mopping the floor which is very inconvenient for the guests who visit to have breakfast.
I paid USD174/night and i was told that price doesn't include breakfast most hotels offer complimentary breakfast for similar price. Vegetarian options are not in the menu.

The staff at hotel restaurant were not courteous. Extremely bad customer service. They made you feel like they were doing you a favor attending to you.
The communication with hotel guest could have been better. Restaurant closes on holidays with no prior information. Hotel guests have to make reservation for dinner. Attention to guest not quite optimal

A great location, with absolutely comfortable and well-appointed rooms and a great shower. Very comfy duvets and perfect for work and access to various parts of business Guyana! And the restaurant, the Bistro, is happening place with very good food.

The location was perfect for my purposes. Besides, it was within walking distance of several restaurants and other places of interest.

A leisure area is missing.
The only place where you can sit is in the restaurant which is not an appropriate space.
