Location was excellent for Addenbrookes Hospital which was the reason for my stay. Owner was very welcoming. Was more than happy for me to use the kitchen area if I wanted to order in takeaway food or microwave something. Hospitality tray was good with a couple of wine glasses too which I thought was a nice touch.
The Continental Breakfast was a bit basic. I felt the accommodation was a little bit over priced for what it was. It was not en-suite and the twin beds were squeezed in with no room for bedside tables. However, it was a very last minute booking so it may have been cheaper if I had booked earlier.

I especially liked the friendliness and help the host was offering, in a pro-active approach
For me the most important was that it is at walking distance of the Addenbrooke's Hospital
I liked it very much, although if I need to mention something that you need to be of aware is that if you have noisy attendants. you will hear that, but that is also in every hotel.

Extremely friendly and welcoming reception. Felt right at home. Substantial breakfast offered in the morning as well : )

Ruth was an amazing host and a chance to stay in a British neighborhood
I was scared I wouldn’t find my way back because my American Wi-Fi didn’t work (my fault)

Basic continental breakfast with items in the fridge to DIY your breakfast. Friendy host. Its not too far at approx. 2.8 miles from the city centre. I managed 12 minutes drive time at quiet time but it took an hour mid afternoon on Friday from the city centre. Friendly host.
A refresh of the frontage - a lick of paint and opening up the front for parking on a fully paved surface or gravel would make a great initial presentation for the B&B.
Shared basic shower (for single rooms) with toilet and sink.
Basic continental breakfast with items in the fridge to DIY your breakfast (which is stated) and is fine for many. Its just my personal preference to have a British breakfast when away as it makes a stay a bit more of an occasion and an attraction for tourists and trades men.
Its tight squeeizing past the tree and parked car onto the loosly laid crazy paving behind the dwarf wall. Limited to two cars. Double yellow lines right outside but clear 30 metres beyond. I parked further up this residential road which was fine for me.

Homely, welcoming, very clean, comfortable, good breakfast. A short walk from Addenbrooke’s hospital, this place was an oasis in the difficulties of my son being in hospital.

Great for Addenbrookes hospital - host very attentive - b/fast adequate / some protein in the continental options would have been good.
Wifi not great - TV slow to respond. Room cramped though adequate enough for our 1 night stay.

The room was neat and tidy with nicely (wider than hotels) opening windows. No complaints. Just be clear that you can read the wi-fi password. Comfortable bed. Shower/toilet for guests down the stairs. Easy free parking on the drive or in the neighbourhood. Lovely breakfast. Key for back entrance for easy coming and going. Shoes off, please.
Well, no en-suite (but I expected that). Facilities good. Couldn’t figure the TV aerial connection, but then again didn’t ask (and the lady was very approachable). I’m a Radio 4 man anyway.

Serve yourself breakfast fine
Tap not working in bathroom & problems with internet

Nothing. Please do not waste your money and stay here- very low standard and grumpy owner.
No one should stay here. They should go for the same price to the holiday inn. The landlady/ owner insisted you took your shoes off at the front door which is unheard of especially as you have to travel through a kitchen and unknown house to get to the bad bedroom. It smelt of cat. The pillows were horrific and uncomfortable. THIS WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL

Cleanliness; warm welcome. Good selection at breakfast and the fact that the chilled items were kept in a small fridge in the breakfast room.
Very difficult to find in the dark due to road layout and the fact that most house numbers were difficult to see from the road. A minor quibble: having been charged hotel prices, I expected to find basic toiletries in the room. Instead, I had to search through a basket of random leftovers in the shared shower room.

I should probably have realised that this was not a deluxe property given the price but the room was small uncomfortable and not ensuite. The shower room was not clean and the towels were of poor quality. It was chosen for it's proximity to the hospital and booked at short notice without properly studying the options
I actually didn't like anything, it was cramped and dirty

Not being able to see the TV from the bed.
Comfortable bed.

Creaking floor boards. Overzealous owner. Rather nosey interrogation.

Very close (walking distance) to Papworth Hospital. The twin room was compact but had everything that was necessary. There was a lovely garden with outdoor seating and dining space - lovely for breakfast in the sun.
The separate (rather than en-suite) bathroom might be an issue for some people, but it was fine for me. It might be nice to have a small, desktop fan in the room, as it was a little airless in the warm weather.
