Just okay, very basic and did the job.

It was in a great location, and the bathroom was very clean. Clean reception/communal space too.

The double room was a lot smaller than what the picture depicts. We were expecting more space, but instead got a very small room with a double bed. The window didn’t open and the room got very warm and there was nothing to help cool the room down. The room next door were very loud coming in and out of their room too. Lots of dust under the bed too.

Excellent value for money in a super central location

Really central and fabulous staff and very cheap for a quick overnighter

The bed wasn’t very comfortable and I couldn’t use the pillow as it was too hard for me, but appreciate that is personal preference

Degelijk hostel

Het is een gezellig hostel met een ruime keuken/gemeenschappelijke ruimte. De ligging is ook perfect, pal in het centrum van Cirencester. En het personeel is vriendelijk. Dat allemaal voor een redelijke prijs, zeker als je vergelijkt met andere hostels in de UK.

De kamers zijn wat krap. Er is in een kamer van vier in feite niet voldoende ruimte om vier stuks bagage te zetten. Ook zijn de badkamers - hoewel proper als je toekomt - wat onhandig. Het is een soort wet room, zonder gordijn of deur tussen douche en lavabo/toilet. Heel de badkamer is dus nat als er iemand gedoucht heeft.

Loved it so much

Loved the location, the hostel was spotless.

Perhaps some salt and pepper in the kitchen. Also, individual lights on each bed for reading, etc would be amazing.

Ich war jetzt schon zum 2. Mal zu Gast und bin nach wie vor sehr zufrieden.

Sehr sauber, stilvolle Einrichtung, entspanntes Ambiente.

Leider hat das Licht vom Rauchmelder permanent grün geblinkt, was beim Schlafen sehr störend war. Vielleicht kann man etwas darüber kleben?

Room reminded me of the old sitcom Porridge, without the laughs.

Location good for town and if you want to eat out.

I know it’s a youth hostel, but £85 for that level of room is utterly bizarre.

Easy to find, parking adjacent, simple check in, clean crunchy linen, pleasure staying there and Cirencester is lovely.

Cheapish stay in clean facilities with very helpful staff.

Hot shower. Place to secure bikes. Helpful staff. Kitchen for self-catering was very good (large space and good facilities). Very clean. Comfortable beds. There was a good laundrette, just 5 minutes walk away. Great location in the centre of town.

The showers are small. It is not possible to open the windows fully (a note provided stated that this was to keep the pigeons out, but I have found it a general problem that YHA facilities do not allow customers to open their windows fully). Bike lockable storage was good - but I was disappointed to have to pay £5 per bike (this added an additional £30 to our stay). Would have been even better if information had been available re local bus timetables re the Cotswolds.

Great for the customer it targets, we're just not that customer.

Good central location

I did not dislike anything and we knew the type of property it was. It was just to small for us and was the only available property available for us when booking. For the type of venue it is, it's very good.

Great value hostel in the centre of Cirencester

Great location, comfortable and extremely clean! Very quiet and close to the centre of Cirencester. Kitchen to use to make a cup of tea or breakfast or supper! Great value and would stay again!

The location is perfect. The reception is professional, kind and ready to answer all of your questions.

The toilet needed a little bit of attention since it was not so clean and needed pleach. The shower room needs updating. The shower needs a screen door and a different system of drainage.

Effortless and comfortable, great location.

Room was spotless, check in was very smooth and even a little bit early (bonus!), it's right in the centre of Cirencester and only a 25 minute walk from the Royal Agricultural University. The bed was comfy, shower amazing (let's face it, this is the make or break of a stay). There is a Tesco on your doorstep and it's easy to get in and out of the hotel at night using a pin code. Perfect if you are here for business or exploring the area and not spending any time in your room apart from sleeping and showering!
