Delightful stay

Very friendly staff, just the right amount of attentiveness. The food was very good, varied breakfast menu which was well done. Lovely peaceful setting.

Would definitely stay here again if offered a different room away from the generator noise ☺️

Lovely building, pleasant staff, great location & tasty breakfast. Pleasantly surprised that I had been upgraded from a single room to a double ☺️ Room was very pleasant & due to the age of the building was pleased that no ghosts visited me 😎

4-5 star rating hotel, expected 4-5 star room compliments, Generator noise audible upon till 10pm & restarted at 5:30am - did bring this to the attention of the bar manager in the evening & checking out receptionist in the morning

A great location, lovely breakfasts and friendly staff.

Great location to town and lovely breakfasts in the morning. Friendly staff. Room really cosy and perfect for a weeks stay.

The stairs were a bit tricky to navigate with lots of bags and cases.

The hotel is a beautiful building, only a 5 minute walk into Cirencester . The room was well appointed and comfortable . Our meals in the restaurant were very nice and a good selection. Parking was easy to access.

Very highly recommend. Would love to stay again Great character and charm of an old historic building Warm welcome from staff. Shown to room Small single room as booked. Super clean. Super cosy and comfortable on a wet cool summer day. Wifi fast and stable Breakfast was included. Lovely ambience. Good value for money in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the historic church and town centre. Would be a lovely base for a few day visit to the area

The rooms are a little dated and creaky and there isn't much soundproofing. Breakfast offering was amazing - thank you to the very kind lady who knew exactly what I needed for my hangover!

Would definitely use this hotel again

Quite a charming historic building with visible wooden beams in various places. The bar area and seating are as good as any small pub. The Corinium is a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the town centre. Our bedroom in the eaves was very nice, and also reasonably spacious and comfortable.

Personally I would have preferred a buffet style breakfast. The cooked aspect of the breakfast was good but on the small side, so if you are looking for a large breakfast you may need to find a place in town instead.

Excellent location with large free car park. Just a short walk to the centre. Staff were faultless and always happy to help. Breakfast and food in the hotel were great. Had a beer garden with pizza oven out the back.
